  1. BOOM
  2. Congrats to Parrish...glad he finally has gotten his chance to contribute on O....so far he's made the most of his chance IMO.
  3. I'll give you that one, but Nix and Gailey weren't the ones making that pick. I also agree that many impact players can be named after the Bills picks over the last few years (Ngata, Orakpo, etc.), but again, different people were at the controls. I'll give Nix a chance to screw up a top 5 pick before I say "give me another 7-9 season so I can be happy in the short term at the cost of possible long-term improvement."
  4. Why? Why do we HAVE to be half way competitive this year? You want the Bills to go 6-10 or 7-9 just to satisfy your short term happiness, so the Bills can pick 9-12 again instead of 1-5 and miss out on a true impact player in the draft--which is one of the reasons why the Bills have been trapped in mediocrity for the past few years--they win just enough games to miss out on the top talent in the draft. Suck it up, and realize that bottoming out for a year or two gives the Bills a better shot at improving than being 6-10 or 7-9 year after year and having to pick Lynch instead of Adrian Peterson or Patrick Willis, Whitner instead of D'Brickashaw Ferguson, etc. etc.
  5. thought they might go for it on 4th there
  6. Maybe he was talking trash about McNabb because McNabb wanted no part of being traded to Buffalo....I'm sure the Eagles would have rather traded him to Buffalo or Oakland than within their own division, but the Eagles decided to respect his wishes, IIRC.
  7. I'd like to welcome Chris Kelsay's mother to the board.
  8. Defensive team captain..................yikes.
  9. 'nuff said.......lock this thread up.
  10. Its amazing that it has been 9 years.
  11. I'm not one of those people that take personal offense to anything negative that a sportswriter writes about the Bills....you guys get paid to give your opinions--that's a sweet job. All I was pointing out was the fact that you are partaking in the same behavior that you are complaining about.
  12. Funny how you are complaining about negative posters, but all 3 of your posts in this thread were negative toward this site, or Bills fans in general.........just sayin'
  13. I see "no permissionon" on everyone's.
  14. I'm sure it wasn't your intention, but you make it sound like the kid is just sitting around all week, then cashing a paycheck. I'm sure he, and all undrafted rookies for that matter, have put in their share of 12+ hour days of strength an conditioning, film study, and playbook study, just for a chance to beat the odds and make an NFL roster.
  15. SCREEN NAME STEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I thought you were Mr. Negative, not Mr. Delusional.
  17. Another topic??? Try 100 other threads. I can't believe we are still talking about this guy........sheesh.
  18. Yep. The money teams make from ticket sales is a drop in the bucket compared to this money.
  19. I know I haven't been around in a while...so sorry if this has been mentioned.....your avatar is one of the scariest things i've seen in quite a while
  20. Let's hope its not "Phylis Diller" Spiller But I could see Boomer throwing something as lame as that out there.
  21. I'll always remember that pick...I was sure the trade up was to pick Mangold......oops
  22. Alright....I'll ask the Oracle.......when are my Magic gonna win a title??
  23. Don't get me wrong, the Celts earned this series...I'm not trying to take anything away from them. KG has always had a problem with Dwight Howard, going back to Howard's rookie year when Garnett was still in Minn. After his first game vs. Howard's idol, KG(which the Magic won BTW), some of the Magic veterans at the time tried to get KG to shake Howard's hand and talk to him, and he flat-out refused--and every game since, he treats Howard with such disrespect(the clubbing of Howard's arm twice on KG's second foul, plus the look on his face at the time, indicate an unfounded hatred for Howard that I just don't get). As for Pierce...he's a great player, but some of the things he did in this series(like his wink and comments after game 2), and his flopping like he was shot by a cannon after every foul just rubs me the wrong way. Stuff like that should be beneath a player of his caliber. Anyway, as I said before, good luck in the Finals as I enter the sports wasteland that is known as the time in between when the NBA ends and the NFL begins.
