  1. Yeah the Fish game might be the one... It's on my Birthday I think... ****fingers crossed****
  2. Ya know what pisses me off?? The assumption that because America has a huge GDP it should automatically be one of the best in the world at soccer. Here's a clue: the two are not linked. It's not just this thread - I've watched the US Sports news and web pages, and you're all at it. Get the frig over yoursleves. In vest some more time and effort and support for soccer and you'll be better at it. Don't just expect the rest of the world to lie down when the face the US at soccer like they do all to often in politics, economics, environment, etc, etc, etc.
  3. I'd like to make a game in October or December this year..... Dunno what yet.
  4. Hear, hear! KH is a waste of space. All he does is take the coaches eyes away from the brighter QB prospects on this team. KH=RJ
  5. The Porterhouse, Maiden Lane, London The Waterfront, Greyhound Lane, London The Loose Moose, Toronto Carpe Diem, Hvar, Croatia
  6. I'm trying to find copies of scripts voiced by John Facenda for NFL Films. I wanted to have some fun with some writing I am doing, and wanted to look over the classic NFL Film Highlight reel scripts that Facenda narrated for some inspiration. I tried googling for the past hour but got no joy. Anyone got a clue where transcripts/scripts might be found?
  7. If you like White Ale then try some Hoegaarden.
  8. You need to start getting the ball outside and building up play along the wings. Too much long ball and making McBride run for it. it's hot and he'll tire. Build up play, that's what you need.
  9. The BBC are streaming all World Cup games live... In video. http://www.bbc.co.uk/ (UK Edition)
  10. Oooohhhhh unlucky to let in a goal so early.... USA look predictable but a little dangerous. They need to score soon else Czech will end up running away with it.
  11. I recovered a blocked PAT - does that count?
  12. I'll update my blog soon (mega busy at work and still got to write the game report), but to let you all know, my team the London Blitz won again at the weekend to go 3-0 for the season. We beat the Ipswich Cardinals 55-6 on a scortching hot day (circa 90 degrees). Scored 28 points in the first quarter, had a record breaking 83-yard KO return, 6 forced turnovers, 4 passing TDs, and only scored once in the 4th qtr. Overall we're kinda pissed we didn't score more. Pics, report and my own personal take on the game to feature in my blog soon.
  13. I guess Paraguay has a big following in the US then??? Will you guys get to see the Trinidad & Tobago vs England game? Apparantly WAYNE Rooney is set to play.
  14. Interesting concept PTR- but look how successful NFLE has been. Basically a failure everywhere except Germany. A US outpost for the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, etc would not be wanted or welcome. The US should continue to follow the MLS model - build a respectable home competition and bring on it's own talent. Eventually you'll become a world force, because when Americans want something they eventually get it (through hard work, nothing sinister), and the MLS will grow in popularity and support. Don't forget - the MLS is trying to do what has taken centuries in England and Europe. DO NOT expect US soccer to be the greatest thing you have ever watched after 10 years of domestic competition...
  15. Poo-Ess-Ay? Poo-Ess-Ay? Poo-Ess-Ay? Good luck guys... I'll be watching tonight. Anything is better than the England game on Saturday - it was horrible!
  16. Try Fezmid by PM or pontel.com
  17. Monty Who? I'm sorry I haven't a clue what you are talking about. It's not pining, it's passed on. This chihuahua is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late chihuahua. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to this handbag, it would be pushing up the daisies. It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-chihuahua…
  18. You know Henry plays for France right? Not the USA?
  19. Uhhh - Cisse was their leading scorer in the qualifiers... He was gonna play. This is the second time he's broken his leg in the same way. It's a loss for France and for Liverpool. He's a fool though - so.... m'eh.
  20. ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON ENGLAND!
  21. Thurman - gotta be. Signing for the felons was not cool
