  1. If you take away all of Willis' other runs except his 31 yarder he's averaging 31 yards per carry!
  2. And if the team actually earned that advantage I wouldn't have a problem with it. The team w/ the best record in baseball should have home field advantage, not the team whose league won an all star game... I'm not sure which rule is worse, the DH rule or the all star game winner's league has home field in the WS.
  3. This is just some end of the world talk designed to get attention. If it's not, and you truely believe that the Bills will "probably" be shut out tomorrow (since "probably" means a greater than %50 chance) then let's lay some money on it. $100 bucks? I mean, if it will "probably" happen the odds are in your favor. Hell, I'll give you 2:1 odds. Put your money where your mouth is...
  4. Yeah, I know. Those guys all go out and coach themselves...
  5. And today Jennifer Ann White is living in a trailer down by the river because of it! In the long run just name your kids what you like the most, you can't avoid other kids making fun of them no matter how hard you try...if kids want to pick on 'em, they will. I mean, if parents are so fearful of other kids making fun of their child will they not get them eye glasses because they'll be "four eyes" or tell them not to study too hard because they don't want to be a "nerd"? Paige Marie is a good name, even if she will be in a bad mood her entire life
  6. Be gracious about what? I'm not a fan of any team that made the playoffs, I don't have any sour grapes. I actually hope the BoSox win the series...I just don't think they're the better team. That doesn't mean much, the better team doesn't always win.
  7. I don't think you want the better team to win...Cards play the most fundamentally sound ball in all the majors and can match the Sox bats...you better hope Schilling can pull some magic out of his ass in this series too.
  8. Hehe, this was my exact thought when I read that as well!
  9. There's one in NYC too, up near Columbia (think its on 114th and Broadway)
  10. And thank god he's a machine...because he's my fantasy QB! Drafted in the second round no less...
  11. Jax+15.5 and Buffalo +12
  12. I'm not going to praise Vick's overall performance this year...but what isn't in those numbers is who has come up big at the end of games to win the game for his team? Vick has played some stinkers this year only to put on a show in the 4th quarter and get it done, which is a big reason why his team is 4-1. Bledsoe hasn't played poorly this year, but I want a guy that can lead his team to a game winning FG when there are only 55 seconds on the clock.
  13. This is only kinda-true. They do have the feedback system and it is somewhat effective, but don't go thinking its a "failsafe". Lots of people don't give negative feedback because if they do, then that person turns around and gives them negative feedback as "payback". So someone who has a perfect score might very well have a few bad deals that just don't show up.
  14. By "coming around" do you mean yet another 13-14 point offensive performance? Because that's all the offense has done this year.
  15. I said to a friend after the Yanks jumped out to a 3-0 series lead that the Sox, in an effort to totaly anihilate their fans, will probably win the next three games, give their fans hope upon hope, only to crush them by losing game 7 (in some dramatic fashion most likely). It's looking more and more like this will come to pass.
  16. Sounds like someone ran their mouth all season long and now that they're getting ripped into for it and they can't stand the heat. People warned you not to get too excited about the regular season, but no, you ran your mouth anyway. You get what you deserve when people rip you for doing so. The "better" team isn't the team that wins the most games in the regular season, it's the team that hits their stride late and plays great in the playoffs. They don't hand the WS trophy to the team w/ the best regular season record…
  17. I'm in the WoW beta and it is simply fantastic. I played EQ for 3 years and it doesn't compare with WoW...and from what I've heard from several friends in EQ2's beta, it doesn't compare w/ WoW either.
  18. I wouldn't have minded seeing a pooch punt by Lindell in that situation. Line up like it's a FG attempt and just pooch it 15 yards down field...there was no way in hell that FG was going to be made, even with a good kicker.
  19. I've thought all along that Henry should be starting for this team. Not after today. I don't care about Willis' 100 yard day...what impressed me the most is that when a play looked like it was caught for a loss or no yards the guy squirts through or drives through and picks up positive yards. Henry was not doing this. This penchant for picking up positive yards puts us in 3rd and manageable conditions and not 3rd and long, which is what we faced too many times in the first 4 games.
  20. The thing that concerns me the most about Bledsoe are his mechanics. Even when he has lots of time to throw he'll frequently just sling the ball out with just his arm instead of actually stepping up into the throw. This causes him to be less accurate than he would with the proper foot work. We saw it again time and time again today. Unfortunately it appears that all the work with Wyche isn't paying off in terms of his mechanics, so we'll continue to see inaccurate throws from him.
  21. Choosing the wind would have been a mistake Imo. The Bills played badly in the first half and they needed to come out and establish some sort of rhythm in the 2nd half. They needed to come out in the 3rd quarter and dominate...and its much easier to do so with the wind. Confidence and game flow are much more important than wind.
  22. It's called compassion for other living beings, even those who make mistakes and inflict suffering upon themselves.
  23. Exactly, Tucker took his legs out with his shoulders...it wasn't even close to being a leg whip. I can totally understand if a ref doesn't see something and misses a call. I'll never understand how they call things that they "think" they've seen. If you're not sure you saw it, don't call it!
  24. Mularkey made a mistake, plain and simple (or do you think he is infallible?) Wasting 25 seconds of clock time to save a TO is ridiculous. Nicely done with “the coach knows more than you” argument. Another classic. You’re pulling out all the message board clichés tonight!
  25. You can't do 3rd grade math and you have the nerve to call somebody else an idiot?
