  1. And it’ll be fun to watch.
  2. They certainly aren’t doing it now. McVay ate time outs last night like they were candy. Just horrible clock management. As for the original question, yeah, I’d rather eat the 5 yards, even in that situation. Ideally I’d like to see Daboll get the damn play in and Allen get the team out of the huddle on time so neither the TO or penalty is necessary. This team has so many pre-snap penalties, it’s infuriating.
  3. It wasn’t just a toe tap. The ball was a 3-4 feet out of bounds. He kept his feet glued to the field and leaned out and caught the ball all while on a dead sprint. Im not sure I’d call it “great” but it wasn’t just a toe tap either.
  4. He’s got two more years to show what he’s got. Those two years will show if he’s the franchise QB we all desperately hope he is.
  5. Why are the Bills drafting in front of the Jags? I thought head to head loser was the tiebreaker.
  6. Its absolutly true. But everyone is making thr assumption hes going to make a big leap with a better surounding cast. He might. But he also might just make a small jump because he is inaccurate, doesnt always throw a catchable ball and breaks the pocket needlessly. He also may never be able to read NFL defenses as quickly as he needs to. They absolutley have to get him help and keep developing him. He might be the QB weve been waiting for but a few flashes in a few games doesnt convinve me one way or the other yet.
  7. On the surface I agree with this. But then I remember this is the exact same excuse eceryine gave Allen at Wyoming. Maybe its coincidence and notmnis fault at all, or maybe Allen’s style is just chaos ball. Even with a good OL will he still break the pocket when he doessnt need to because its a habit? Maybe...
  8. The 2nd wasnt a horrible decision, it was a horrible throw. CB has inside position, its an easy outside throw and he throws it right into the teeth of the coverage.
  9. What is the coaching staff reasonable for? Crossman isn’t responsible for his unit now?
  10. It’s obvious he was hurt and couldn’t possibly hit that long of a FG. They should have gone for it.
  11. Normally I agree with you. I don't want to see my QB take off all the time. This past Sunday, however, I was really pleased with how/when Allen decided to take off. He'd make a simple read of the DEs and the moment they overcommitted and were behind him he'd quickly move into the gap they left and gain easy yards. Why on earth their DEs kept making the same mistake all game I have no idea, but Allen did a good job making them pay for it. The ramifications of this should be that the DEs the Bills face in the coming weeks aren't going to be able to pin their ears back. They are going to have to keep their gap integrity even during passing plays. This should result in Allen getting a little extra time to find WRs down field.
  12. I wish they’d have just made him inactive the rest of the season. Letting him go and potentially being picked up by a team heading to the playoffs is exactly what he wanted.
  13. Im all for criticizing Allen’s inaccuracy but he threw that ball on the run across his body to the other side of the field. You’re dreaming if you think that’s going to be right on the money. Clay has got to make that catch.
  14. It should have been PI though.
  15. Turnovers. Specifically the muffed pint.
  16. That wasn’t a grabage call on Phillips, you can’t do that.
  17. It doesn’t matter how well you play the entire game if you sh*t the bed in crunch time. D fell on their face there.
  18. Wasted TO there because of poor communication.
  19. Good things happen when Allen targets Jones. Wish they’d do it more often.
  20. He kinda reminds me of Vick. Big arm, very moble, questionable accuracy but seems to keep his team in most games. He’s a frustrating passer but a gamer.
