2nd Half Thread: Bills vs. Dolphins at 1 PM ET on CBS
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. People don’t have to ignore/make excuses for every mistake the kid makes. He needs to get better and I’m betting he’s the first one who would say that. -

I’d love to see him hit the 56% mark. -

What has.l a higher percentage chance of happening? A Hail Mary or a 59 yard field goal? Just mind boggling decision making by McDermott. -
Josh Allen Apparently Loves Popeye’s Chicken
MDH replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he keeps it up he’ll have more in common with Big Ben than just play style. -
Robert Foster pays it forward to a young fan!

I opened this thread just knowing there’d be at least one poster who would do this. There’s always one. A bright ray of sunshine that brightens the entire world. -
Jags Fire Hackett and Have Benched Bortles for Kessler
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Without knowing how many players each team has under contract next year those numbers aren't exactly apples to apples. Are any of those teams losing important cogs and that's how they're getting that space? -
Both the Colts and Ravens have beaten the Bills. Except for some 3 way tie scenarios involving other teams that is essentially a 3 game lead for both teams.

I’d like to see him stop taking on defenders. He needs to lean to avoid contact instead of looking for it.

2nd half thread, Jags at Bills 1 pm on CBS
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, there can be no defensive holding within one yard of the LoS. A flag was picked up when a Bills WR was held a few weeks ago. -

What happened to no holding within one yard of the LoS? -

I don’t disagree. That’s was BS. -

Neither were BS. Both were obvious. -

The last two TD drives he has one attempt. Pathetic. -

I come to the point where I prefer Ivory. McCoy just won’t stop dancing. -
Allen best Bills QB of 21st century?
MDH replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very true, but he was still better than Allen to this point. But then again a real argument could be made that EJ was better than Allen to this point. U -
David Carr: Vikings Made a Mistake Paying Cousins $84M
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Vikings defense is allowing 7 more points per game this year. That has been the main difference this season, not Cousins. If the D was anywhere near what they were last year they would be super bowl contenders. -
Jalen Ramsey doubles down on Josh Allen “trash” comments
MDH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on the way Ramsey phrased it I'm not sure he's talking about Allen the QB and not Allen the person. Either there's some personal beef with the guy or perhaps he's pissed at the tweets from Allen that got released the eve of the draft. Who knows but it doesn't sound like he's just talking about his play. -
People are giving a single game way too much credit in how it illustrates the "new" NFL game. It was just a single game between two teams who have very good offenses - and subpar defenses - this year. NFL teams are averaging 24.2 points per game this season. Yes, it's the highest it's ever been but it hardly makes 54-51 games the "new norm." In 1946 NFL teams averaged 23.6 points per game, that didn't signal the beginning of some new offensive explosion. Just a changing game that took defenses awhile to catch up to.

So in your scenario the guy who buys Miller Lite isn't cheap? Interesting. -

Defenseless WR was the only one I thought wasn’t a great call. Everything else was legit. -

Which calls do you disagree with? I’ve only seen one I thought was iffy. -
I don’t think you understand odds. If every game you mentioned was a 50% chance of going the Bills way the chances of ALL of it happen is less than 1 percent. It’s about a 1 in 500 chance of it all happening. And that 1/500 chance is being way generous because the games we need aren’t a coin flip. I’d say it’s closer to a 1/5000 than 1/500. Cue the “so you’re saying there’s a chance!” meme.
