  1. Anyone else see the scroll on bottom of screen that said Shady out 3-4 more games as "new tear" was discovered?
  2. And the roller coaster continues. Come out flat following a big win once gain.
  3. He had guys open on multple plays in the end zone and missed them badly.
  4. What we learned: Any RB going against the Phins should be started in fantasy.
  5. The closer we get to kickoff the more my abused fan syndrome kicks in and I begin to have doubts.
  6. taylor piece is on NFL network right now, FYI
  7. The only way Tasker gets in is as a senior nominee like Ray Guy.
  8. Kevin Coyle can kiss his job goodbye.
  9. I hope the Bills can overcome 4 starters out as easily as most fans assume.
  10. I want to see the Bills Safeties come up and lay the wood on Beckham early. Make him pay for catching the ball.
  11. Well, if we think the Bills are good we should assume the same about the Jets because they've put a butt whipping on the same teams the Bills have. I'm beginning to get nervous about the game today minus Sammy and Shady. They need to pile up the wins before they get into the section of the schedule with a plethora of road games. They need 3 of the next 4 min.
  12. I agree, but I also think that about some guys they let in the HoF. Jerome Bettis comes to mind.
  13. It is only a failed challenge if the new spot didn't result in a 1st down. How can they lose the challenge when they didn't even bother measuring to see if it was a 1st down? Based on the replay it looked like it should have been very close. Are they saying they didn't change the spot at all based on the replay?
  14. Yet WRs can shove off the DB to create separation with no call. AJ Green and Julio Jones do it time and time again with no call. It's Michael Irvin like.
  15. I always liked him too but as we've seen first hand, he starts the season's playing well but can never sustain it. A tired arm and weather will bring him back to INT land.
  16. They'd never do that to the biggest TV market. Only to two small ones.
  17. There's been speculation that if the Dolphins' D lays another egg today Kevin Coyle (their D coordinator) will be let go. I don't think they fire Philbin as that would be totally giving up on the season after week 4 but somebody will be made the scape goat. Looks like it might be Coyle.
  18. Even if we assume the Pats have a 90% chance of winning each game left in the regular season they have about a 25% chance of finishing 16-0. So even if they are a very dominant team the odds of them winning out isn't good. So, I'm not sure it's a legitimate talking point. Just a talking point. Once they get to 10-0 or so then I'll there's a legit chance.
  19. The question isn't why did Dixon beat out Brown for a roster spot. The question is why did the Bills enter the season with only two healthy RBs? They knew Shady had a hammy injury and wasn't ready for a full work load so why not enter the season with an extra RB on the roster to compensate for it? I'd have kept an extra RB until Shady was healthy. This team's run game is going to take a serious dive if Williams gets banged up in the least. They have nobody else on the roster who is any kind of running threat.
  20. I hope so but I have my doubts as to how effective the offense will be without Watkins. Harvin is being productive because of all the attention Sammy gets. What happens once teams dont cheat to one side of the field? It will make things touger on Tyrod and the WRs. I think people are underestimating what Watkins' presense alone brings to this O. On a side note I also think they'll miss Shady and his blitz pickup. Rookies generally suck at it, which will also negatively impact the pass game. That being said I still think thhe Bills win but it would not surprise me if the passing game struggles and the team needs to lean on Williams heavily to eek out the win.
  21. Man, I hope Watkins' calf doesn't linger as long as this.
  22. Yep, once arm fatigue and weather start to play roles his effectiveness slides. Every little bit helps. Granted, in week 4 it's tough to know exactly what will benefit the Bills the most come season's end, right now it looks like the Phins winning is better for the Bills.
  23. Yeah, people are getting carried away with the blowout predictions. Blowouts aren't the norm in the NFL, so to think they'll do it every week they don't play an upper echelon team is a bit much. Bills 26 Giants 24
