  1. Indeed. Fanbase is tired of having superior talent & only 1 ring to show for it. Heat's on Sucko now that his scapegoat is gone.
  2. No, but I miss seeing truly great teams more. The league is too watered-down. Like I've said in other posts, it's been a very long time since I've seen a SB winning team that I would rank even close to the all-time greats.
  3. IMO the league was MUCH better 20 years ago, and not just cause the Bills were dominant. Parity and free agency both suck, I miss not seeing any truly great teams anymore.
  4. Agreed. Wayne wasn't even the best WR on his team, and Andre > Harrison.
  5. Great finale, congrats to the Sheep Boys, what a shocker. I wasn't cheering for them till tonight, but I sure didn't like seeing the others team against them. VERY glad the Hindus didn't even place, STFU twinnies!
  6. Just making sure you weren't trying to elevate P-Gump into elite status for something he clearly didn't do. Now, if you want to say elite "regular season" QBs, I have no problem putting him there.
  7. Well, if you were going to only look at rings won the last 5 years, you would include Brees and Rodgers, drop Brady and also drop P-Gump (Big Game Chump). If he hadn't monumentally choked against the Saints, he would be there & not Brees.
  8. Playoff performance is lacking compared to the 3 ELITE QBs. Brady - 3 rings Playoff Record as Starting QB: 16-6 Big Ben - 2 rings Playoff Record as Starting QB: 10-4 Eli Gump - 2 rings Playoff Record as Starting QB: 10-3 Drew Brees - 1 ring Playoff Record as Starting QB: 5-4 Aaron Rodgers - 1 ring Playoff Record as Starting QB: 4-3 Peyton Gump - 1 ring Playoff Record as Starting QB: 9-10
  9. Three ELITE QBs in the league right now: Brady - 3 rings Big Ben - 2 rings Eli Gump - 2 rings
  10. I'd have much rather seen Elvis that night. Actually, he was OK, touring behind IMO his best LP, Squeezing Out Sparks. Cheap Trick was at their At Budokan height though, & that's who everyone went to see, most of the Indy crowd had never heard of GP.
  11. I saw him play Market Square Arena in 1979, the line-up was Cheap Trick / GP and the Rumour / Blackfoot. The thing I remember most is that he was pretty annoyed to be there, not cause it was Indy but cause he didn't think he should be opening for anyone, & he let everyone know it.
  12. I will NOT apologize for having high standards.
  13. I will give him some credit for playing better than expected against the Pats last year.... but he was staked a 21-7 halftime lead in 2010 against the Steelers & folded in the 2nd half. I find him to be very Bledsoe-ish... or Drew-ish if you will... and that, I can just not abide. Indeed. He does throw a very nice deep ball, & he is very durable, I'll give him that... but that's all he brings to the table.
  14. I see all of Sucko's games here, and some of Rivers'... and like I said, no, Rivers hasn't been good this year, but his intangibles dwarf Sucko's. IF he becomes available (which is looking more & more like a good possibility), I would sooner spend $ on him than Sucko, that's all. Ravens have had superior talent for many years but only one ring to show for it. If/once it becomes apparent that Sucko is not going to be the one to get the job done, I can't see Ozzie dragging it out any longer. ETA. Cam Cameron has coached them both, & there's no doubt in my mind who he would rather have at QB.
  15. Rivers is not having a good year with the Chargers, but he would be a monumental upgrade for the Ravens. If they are going to drop some coin anyways, this would be a much better move IMO... great fit on that team.
  16. I would have to agree with Vinny Cerrato on the Baltimore FAN today. Dude is not instinctive at all, he's not very good at making plays when things break down... also very slow with his reads. He compared him to Montana & Young who he had with the 49'ers (which was VERY unfair, I know ), but again, I just don't like statues who can't think for themselves. Also, his leadership intangibles hover just above zero, he is extremely lucky to have been drafted onto that team.
  17. If he keeps having performances like the one he had last week, it'll be pretty easy. There's a good reason why Ozzie hasn't talked contract with him. Actually, I hope they do re-sign him though, I need all the ammo I can get being a Bills fan here in Baltimore. The fanbase is getting restless.
  18. Sucko isn't worth the average $ of the Top 10 QBs either.
  19. Highly unlikely that Joe Sucko gets a franchise tag, as there is no way in hell Ozzie Newsome pays him the average of the top-5 QBs. Just say NO to any more statues, even if they are only semi-brain dead like Joe.
  20. Agree 100%. Don't miss Pos at all, but Byrd is another story,,, can't blame him if he left though.
  21. That was very lame, they should've gotten the boot yesterday... if they win, they will never shut up.
  22. Well, he's only been here two years now... not as bad as the dimwits who kept spelling Ruben Brown "Reuben" or even "Rueben".
  23. Longevity is definitely an issue... but he is a huge reason why the Broncos have 2 rings... plus he was the best RB in the league (or at least close) during those years when healthy. Like I said, maybe... probably not. Drew Bledsoe... still waiting for that call.
