Three million apart is a big difference to meet in the middle. I say trade him, he will always be a pain in the side with this team. I agree he needs a raise but after last season he shouldn't be asking to be the highest paid lineman. Anyone else notice how he is hurt and can't play on the coldest games? If they sign him now to a three or four year deal he'll be holding out again in a couple of seasons.

the questions is ho is the odd man out? Jenkins is #6 but he contributes to special teams. it will be fun to watch this position battle in camp.

I'd trade him if he is asking for too ridiculous of a contract. He's a pro-bowler and feels he is the best left tackle in the game. If he skips out on camps and has too high of an asking price then trade him!!!! ps. to have a better opinion on this I would like to know what he is asking for and what the eagles are going to give up. I doubt it is too first rounders.

It would be like two new draft picks if they can contribute this season

although they the players coming in don't bring a whole lot of excitement they are building talent and depth with experienced players and good prices. competition for starting jobs and playinf time will improve this team.

do you expect every signing to be big time 100 million deals? you need backups and role players as well. its better to have these guys than unproven rookies.
