Any Coach going to a new team KNOWS that team has problems or they would have kept the old Coach. The Bills have many pieces in place, they need help on both lines & a QB. What team is Shanahan going to that is ready to win now other than Dallas? I think this team can make the playoffs in 2 years Max with the right Coach.

I have seen most of his games & I say HELL YEAH he will make it in the NFL. You can watch him Saturday as he beats up the Girls school from Fla. on his way to a THIRD National Title.

Why is that a problem? If Shanahan has a contract it will have to be honored by the new owner. I would think having him as HC would make the Team more attractive to potential buyers than a Coach like say.........Dick Jauron.

You are not from the South. Recruits want to play for a WINNING Team & Coach, then location of the school. Some kids want to get away, but the majority want to stay close to home so family & friends can come watch them play. That is the reason USF even though it has a VERY YOUNG Football program is able to attract the talent that it has. The South has the best recruits in the Country.

I would argue Hanggartner is a HUGE upgrade over Fowler. With a ROOKIE on either side of him, there has been MUCH less push from defenses in the middle of the line this year than last. The pressure this year is from the edges.

When Meyer had that written into his contracts, it was before he went to Fla. After being in Fla he realized he was HAPPY there. Yes they have lower admission standards than ND, SO WHAT. As was said before the vast majority of the BEST recruits are from SEC Country. Even if ND lowered their standards, they would get a few, but the MAJORITY of recruits would still choose the SEC over ND.

WHEN the Gators win their 3rd Championship under Meyer he will be a GOD in the SEC which is the College Football world today. The SEC is the NFL of College, ALL the other conferences are on the level of the UFL. Gainsville is not South Beach, but it is a lot closer to it than Indiana.
