Fargo is in North Dakota, not Minnesota. Minneapolis to Fargo is the equivalent of Long Island to Erie Pa. Northern Minnesota is an entirely different world than Minneapolis. My wife was born in Bemidji Minn not far from Fargo ND & yeah, they do say "you betcha" "for sure" up there. They also say "okey dokey"

I think Ralph would have been fine with Dick staying until the end of the season, but he wanted to begin the process of replacing him NOW so he had to tell him he was going to be fired.

Beside the fact he's about 40 years old, George is a pariah in the NFL. He was always a ME guy, not a team player. NO team in the NFL will touch him under any circumstances.

Dungy is an honorable man, I take him at his word that he doesn't want to coach anymore.

As a Bucs fan, (My brother inlaw is a Colts fan) PASS on Dungy (if he wanted to coach again which he has said he doesn't).

What is with the DUNGY built? He built NEITHER the Bucs or the Colts, he coached the players that the GM's gave him. Yeah Dungy got the Bucs to the playoffs, but if he had hired a GOOD OC he would have had the Bucs in the Super Bowl. Trust me, Dungys Bucs offense was NO better than the Bills offense under Jauron.

The Bucs were a joke when Wyche was hired, many of the pieces were in place when Dungy was hired. Wyche has said that if he had another year or two he would have had the Bucs in the Super Bowl & he may be right.

The Bills traded Peters for DRAFT PICKS not a RG. Wood is one pick they used & while playing RG now he is the future Center of the Bills.

I would take Marty Schottenheimer, along with his son as assistant HC/OC.

Rich McKay built the Bucs, not Dungy. Bill Polian built the Colts & hired Dungy who brought his defense which is what the Colts were lacking. Dungy has said he doesn't want to Coach anymore, & why would ANYONE quit the Colts to Coach the Bills?

1.LT Bell MAY be the answer, I will let the new Coach decide about that. 2.Hangartner should be on the bench.............a QUALITY reserve for the entire interior of the line. Wood to Center. 3.Agreed, best one available. 4.Agreed. Maybe Butler becomes the reserve.

Any player can be injured at any time, but if you read through my posts, you will see that I do question the VALUE to a team of players that are injury prone. I would rather have a VERY GOOD IRON MAN that never gets injured than an elite INJURY PRONE player that can't be counted on to stay healthy at ANY position on the team. Peters said himself that he could have returned to play in a game the Eagles LOST, but he stood there on the sideline. I would question his heart based on that FACT. I don't hate Peters, & wanted the Bills to resign him, but like the Bills, I have moved on.

I don't understand why some people don't get the FACT that Peters did not want to be in Buffalo any longer? You can not force a player to stay & play well when they don't want to. Even if the Bills caved in to Peters demands there is no way to know how he would have played after that. Would he give his all or stand on the sideline with the slightest injury........like he is doing in Philly.

The Bucs drafted two very good Tackles in the 2nd & 3rd rnd, Jeremy Trueblood & JeremyZutah. I just hope the Bills Draft a SMART guy with the same kind of attitude as Wood for LT.

Reuben said he asked Gregg Williams to replace the inexperienced OL Coach. Turns out he was a GOOD FRIEND of Greggs, & that was Reubens ticket out of Buffalo.

Not according to Rueben Brown. He said players want to go where they are WANTED, where they know the Coach & how the Coach plans on playing them. He said the City did not matter at all.

Good post. It has been reported the decision was made to fire Dick after the Browns game, but Ralph wanted to wait until the end of the season. The best guess is Ralph decided Dick lost the locker room as the reason for doing it now.

An offensive HC needs a GOOD DC, for example Gruden/Kiffen, a defensive HC needs a GOOD OC, for example Dungy/Caldwell.

The reason Williams went 3-13 his 1st year is that instead of rebuilding the offense which was needed, he dismantled a VERY GOOD Defense for NO REASON but his own EGO, leaving him a team with no Offense or Defense.
