My thought also. People from Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh wouldn't even have to stay overnight, they could drive for just a day trip.

The question is how you can save salary and not be near-insane about it. Marshawn was famous here for going into bars and bringing his own booze. And for taking money off a fan which he claims led to his having to leave Buffalo, because the cops hated him so much.
I wonder where he slept, if stadiums and front offices have rooms with beds for their front office people that work late nights.

My brother works for a fire department, and since it's still a federal crime, they can not hire anyone that uses or fails a drug test for weed.

The reason coordinators like to sit in the booth is because they can see the field better.Until they put those big screens down at the tunnel end, it was not unusual to see numerous people in the scoreboard end, during plays at the opposite end of the field, standing up and turned around watching the scoreboard to see what was going on.

There are only five weekends that Taylor's and Travis schedule interfere. I did the "deep" dive into the Google to find her tour dates...

Sunday, October 27th - Taylor is in New Orleans, Travis is in Las Vegas

Monday, November 4th - Travis is in Tampa Bay
Saturday, November 16th - Taylor is in Toronto
Sunday, November 17th - Travis is in Buffalo
Sunday, December 8th - Taylor is in Vancouver, Travis is in Los Angeles (Chargers)
So out of 17 games, not counting pre-season, there's only three that she could not be at. If the NFL really tried, they could have moved the Chiefs around more, by making those Sunday conflicts, Monday night games instead.

Honestly, I'm skeptical of a grass field in Buffalo at all. It will be fine until mid-November. What happens when it gets 2 feet of snow on it? How do you empty out the stadium without driving heavy equipment on the field? How do you drive heavy equipment on the field without destroying it? The grass has to be heated from underneath so it keeps growing, fine, so the field won't freeze either, meaning it will still be relatively soft. They will need grow lights, etc similar to what they use in England soccer to keep the grass growing because it's too dark in the winter, plus the shade the stadium and overhang itself will create. I'm less worried about the grass growing provided that they are committed to making it happen properly, but the removal of the inevitable large snowfalls is a question. Also resodding. If they have to resod in say January can they get the soil warm enough for the roots to take?
The Packers have a mix artificial/real grass field. It's actually interesting reading this article, that they rip out the grass part every year and grow new grass.

Maybe 98% of folks here know that but for the one other dumba$$ here, thee ya go. Players prefer grass so that's a big plus.The Raiders field is grass, but it's the type that can be rolled out of the stadium to get natural sunlight.
