Who did they release for that? Wow.. so all someone has to do is accuse me of something and my career is over.  Hilariously sad times we live in.

Really?  Did you just become a Bills fan in the last 6 months?

It’s actually a mandate by the NFL to go to cardless, paperless tickets. It actually started before Covid. The year before Covid my buddy and I went on a tour of the clubs when we were purchasing and our rep told us the NFL is going that route. It helps crack down on scalpers and fake tickets. Notice I didn’t say brokers. Because the NFL is perfectly ok with them doing what they’re doing. Anyway, you could still get cards, or even paper tickets but you had to ask for them. I imagined at some point you would have to pay extra for them as well. Which is now the case. I think you can still get paper tickets also, but last I checked it was an extra $4/ticket.

I brought my brother in laws to the Eagles/Bills game back in 2019, and to make things easy I asked for paper tickets, having the mobile tickets as a backup, so I wouldn't need to get scanned seven times to get them in.  I believe it was $4/ticket back then to get paper.

U.S. — O.J. Simpson has passed away from cancer at the age of 76. According to sources from the afterlife, the former football star is looking forward to asking God who really killed his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson. "I've been racking my brains for decades trying to figure out who may have done it," said Simpson. "It will be great to have all my questions finally laid to rest. I really can't imagine who might have committed such a crime." At publishing time, O.J. Simpson's questions unfortunately remained unanswered after a majority-black jury declared him "not dead."

There was some complaint about the 10 year length on the PSL's up thread. That likely coincides with right around Josh Allen's retirement. I would assume that is by design once the market resets?

Based on the Sabres, the terrible upkeep of KBC, and Pegula pulling out of Blue Cross Arena lease in Rochester, I have every expectation that he becomes a bad tennant and the team tanks. He will want to stick his hand in the honey jar one more time before that happens.

The 10 years is the finance loan you can get to pay off the PSL, the PSL contract is good for 30 years.

I have his autograph...does the value of that go up or down after his death?

Autographs and memorabilia will see a bump after a person's death.  I had a Jimmy Buffett concert shirt that if I sold it on eBay right after his death, I could have easily got $50 for it.  Now, maybe $10.

He never murdered me, not once.

Well, you weren't dating his ex-wife at the time, were you?

For reference there is not a single college athletic department in any college sport across the country that charges PSL's.

Syracuse University requires a "donation" to their Cuse Athletic Fund to buy season tickets.  While not calling it a PSL, it's still an extra charge to have the privilege to buy season tickets.

Why is there an annual required seat-related ‘Cuse Athletics Fund membership on Football Season Tickets?
Seat-related ‘Cuse Athletics Fund memberships are essential to supporting the student-athlete experience at Syracuse University. This portion of your season ticket is used provide the resources needed for our teams to recruit, train and compete both in competition and in the classroom and is used to directly support all 20 programs and 600+ student-athletes. This portion also qualifies you as a ‘Cuse Athletics Fund member and applies toward your ‘CAF Annual Giving Level, which identifies your eligibility for different annual benefits and is used in donor rank to allocate tickets, parking and hospitality.

Actually the night games don’t necessarily sell that well. Neither do playoff games despite what people may think. Took a loss on the wild card game this year and barely got a little more than market value on the KC game.

One of last seasons night games I had listed did not even sell, even though I kept dropping the price till it was just under my cost on game day.

I take 90% of my pics outdoors in beautiful landscape scenery, typically many miles from roads so I want something light/compact in my pack but w/o sacrificing too much quality (e.g. I carry one of these instead of an actual tripod). I'm leaning toward mirrorless when I pull the trigger as that seems to be the future and I get the sense that you would also get better quality in a smaller package (that is not what she said). However I haven't used an actual SLR in 30yrs and was never that great with it, so I also need something that is virtually beginner level for me to learn on.

I used to carry one of the EOS entry level DSLR's with multiple lenses when I was hiking.  Now, this is what I carry, small, compact, fits in my pocket, has a good optical zoom on it.

    PowerShot SX740 HS Black (canon.com)

I had also bought this one at the same time to compare, but except for the additional zoom, I did not see any difference in picture quality to my untrained eye.  Plus, I liked that with the SX740 I could just slip it in my pocket.

People are amazed at some of the pics I get with the 740.

    Here's one album of mine...

Black Bear Mountain near Old Forge, NY

I'll also take it to concerts...

(EDIT: I was sitting near the back of section 202 or 204, using the zoom to get these shots Lakeview Amphitheater Seating Chart)

    And my nephews/nieces sporting events...

    What did you think?

I liked it, but not enough to make me a regular viewer again.  I fully expected the run in's during the Roman/Cody match the second night, but the happiness/camaraderie after the match seemed genuine, especially Cody going around on the way out and thanking the camera crew.  Looked like they were not expecting that.  I would like to know what Hunter was whispering to him in the ring.

I have to admit that I don’t understand how all of this PSL stuff works. What exactly are you buying and how does it work? For example:

Does the cost of the PSL include the cost of the game/event ticket? And if not, I assume the actual ticket prices will increase over time?

Does a PSL guarantee first right of refusal on ANY event held in the stadium?

Is the PSL permanent or does it just cover a specific span of years? In other words, does it expire?

Is the PSL transferable to your family/heirs?

Does the PSL include a free parking pass?

No, tickets are extra.  Ticket prices should increase over time, I can 't imagine they would be locked in for 30 years like the PSL.

Typically, yes, at least that's the way it has been with our current club seats.  Certain events, like the Taylor Swift tour, I don't believe for those stadiums that PSL holders got first dibs.

The current term being sold is 30 years, which is the lease for the new stadium.  Possibly taking into account that at the end of 30 years, the decision will have to be made to either keep the stadium and extend PSL's or build a new stadium with new PSL's.

    PSL's can be transferred.

I believe I saw in @Mr Info documents that he shared that he can purchase a parking pass separately.

Perfect conditions up in the Adirondacks today!  Was up on Poke-O-Moonshine in the NE part of the park.  The show was amazing.  Unfortunately the ride home took forever.  What’s usually under two hours took a little over six.  Solid traffic the entire time.  I would bet today set a record for the most people in the park ever.  And they all left at the same time.  Even with the traffic mess it was a great day.

How many people were at the summit?  And I've seen pictures of 87 with both lanes bumper to bumper.  Sucks to be stuck in that.

  12. Went up to Oswego County, had a big black cloud come through right during totality, so didn't see anything.  Except it getting dark.  Got to see it before, and right after.

Also, no discernible change from normal traffic despite all the warnings.

We left about noon to go north. Traffic was heavier on 81 heading north than a normal Monday.  Lots of NJ and PA plates.
