Any indications that Legends has done this shameful practice elsewhere previously?  Or is their first attempt at running the show like they are for the Bills?

Legends did sell for the 49ers, but not sure if they did an experience center.  They are also signed up to sell for the new Washington stadium. And the Oakland A's new stadium in Las Vegas. Legends team up with A’s on new ballpark - Coliseum (coliseum-online.com)

All current season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to visit the state-of-the-art new stadium preview center and meet with a dedicated sales consultant to learn more about the seat selection process.  Fans who are not current season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the new stadium by joining the waitlist.

Nihill said a PSL Experience Center will be built in Germantown, and it's expected to open in March 2024. Fans will have a technology experience where they'll be able to see what their seats would look like, and it's where the PSL transactions will take place.

Just FYI - You have not paid PSL’s for your current seats. The Bills do not have PSL’s at the current stadium. Not in the clubs or anywhere else.

You’ve repeated this misinformation so many times in this thread, despite being told that it’s not true, that I called the Bills ticket office last week to ask, and they confirmed that no-one has ever paid a PSL at the current stadium.

The marketing mistake the Bills made was linking the new prices to the new stadium. They should’ve been raising prices throughout the years so the sticker shock wouldn’t have been so immediate. I’m was on the Board of an HOA a few years back and I would regularly advocate for raising the monthly dues to keep up with inflation. The majority of the Board wanted to delay things so they’d let the deficit pile up and hit all the residents with a significant increase every three or four years. That increase was predictably followed by a lot of teeth gnashing and ire cast at the Board for mismanagement.

I've had club seats since 2004, I'd have to look up how much I was paying back then for an exact number, but I feel my price has almost doubled since I got them.  It's still below what is being reported for the new stadium.  I'm pretty sure I will not be able to afford what they will call "equal" seats since I'm at the top end of what I'm comfortable paying currently.  Still waiting on my invite to the show.

  4. Just the Bills, since 2000 (moved to club seats in 2004).  But with the new stadium, and how little I go to games now, I started looking at the local teams here in Syracuse.  Syracuse Mets (baseball), Crunch (hockey), and of course Syracuse University teams.  But one thing I'm considering more than any of those, is the local concert amphitheater, Lakeview.  Already been discussing with a rep for there about what is involved in getting a season pass.  Quite frankly, the wife and I go to a lot more concerts than sporting events, and seeing Lakeview is less than 5 miles from our home, seems a good idea.

I was just checking.  It is off Route 20A, south of the field house and next to Lot 1 on the east side.  County records show Brian Barco as owner, so the transfer hasn’t been updated in the web database. I saw a Reddit thread saying 2.5 million for the sale. Based on the county owning all the stadium property, I expect it was the county that bought the mud lot also.  Erie County property records don’t have any land owned by the Bills.

    Zillow shows the following sales/pricing

    August 2004 - Sold - $87,550

    April 2016 - Sold - $275,000

    March 2023 - Listed for $3,900,000

    April 2023 - Price drop/listed for $2,900,000

    August 2023 - Sold - $2,000,000

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but I’m not reading through 93 pages hoping to see the answer….

If a the PSL is purchased and financed over a 10 year period, and the buyer defaults, dies, changes their mind, etc.

If the PSL is paid in full, but the owner elects not to renew season tickets, what then? Does the PSL owner still retain ‘ownership’ of those seats but the Bills can sell tickets for them?

The PSL owner loses their PSL and seats.  You need to keep buying seasons to keep your PSL.

Can owners of PSLs sell them privately or do they have to go back to the Bills?

They can sell the PSL to someone else themselves.  Might not get what they paid for it though.

My mom was the psga secretary for 20 years and if you tell people where and when they we come. If you leave it up to the masses it may not ever get done.

We already have a place, Hammers Lot, by the stadium for the tailgate.  No need to decide where or when to meet.  It'll be the Home Opener, whenever that will be.

  8. I'm just gonna keep posting this anytime someone brings up that game....

Several factors contributed to the loss

    1) 13 seconds

    2) they had all three time outs left

    3) they had Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill

    4) some Bills players and coaches were already celebrating on the sidelines like the game was over

    5) they only needed a FG to tie and go to OT.

  9. Syracuse University season tickets do not have a PSL, they have a "donation" to their 'Cuse Athletics Fund.  You want seasons, you have to make a donation.

Why is there an annual required seat-related ‘Cuse Athletics Fund membership on Football Season Tickets?
Seat-related ‘Cuse Athletics Fund memberships are essential to supporting the student-athlete experience at Syracuse University. This portion of your season ticket is used provide the resources needed for our teams to recruit, train and compete both in competition and in the classroom and is used to directly support all 20 programs and 600+ student-athletes. This portion also qualifies you as a ‘Cuse Athletics Fund member and applies toward your ‘CAF Annual Giving Level, which identifies your eligibility for different annual benefits and is used in donor rank to allocate tickets, parking and hospitality.

The amount you donate instead of seniority comes into play with their benefits.  Someone that does the minimum donation for years/decades, can lose out to someone that just got seasons and made a big donation.
