I have a quick question - when Ralph Wilson was alive, whose idea was it to rename Rich Stadium to “Ralph Wilson Stadium?” That seems kind of conceited
New York State or Erie County, I forgot which one, since they owned it. Interesting footnote, the field house, when it was first built was the Ralph Wilson Fieldhouse.

It’s also why McKinley mall will end up shuttering completely and they will rebuild it like they are planning with both the Blvd mall and eastern hills malls. A city center with restaurants, shops, parks, apartments, and likely some hotel space. Being that close to the stadium as well as the 90 it’s a no brainer. I can see Pegula spending some serious cash to help develop that in the very near future.
They are doing that with two of the malls in my area. One is supposed to start construction this fall, the other is being held up by two property owners that may go to eminent domain.

Most people never even heard of Pegula before he was a name attached to buying either team.
I did not even know how to pronounce his name, had a fellow STH correct me the first time I said it.

I would say that even with interest, if they offered a 20 or 30 year PSL it would go over much better than it currently is. Fans would not worry so much about paying 1k a year for 30 years for a club seat. But when you demand all that money up front or within 10 years or less it becomes a much bigger nut for almost all “fans”. Of course the business/corporate side doesn’t care. They take their write offs asap.
I know it would for me. $20K over 20 years is only $1000/year + interest. I can deal better with that than any of the current set ups.

We had 9 home games last year (8 in Buffalo) and 8 homes games this year. So it’s equal.
Plus one pre-season game last year, making it 9 total home games. This year we should be getting two pre-season games, making it 10 home games. You still need to pay for a ticket to go to pre-season games.

We are only 15.9% less than the average NFL tickets. And I believe I read ticket prices are increasing another 10% this year, so that discrepancy is likely going to get smaller.
I believe I heard that is because we have an additional home game (pre-season) this year.

Purchasing PSL early locks in $10,330 for 2026 season tix (2 tickets).
I'm out. That's about double what I'm paying now, even before adding in the PSL. Looks like it's secondary market for me. I'll still go and check out the presentation though.

Hollins played for the Dolphins during Covid year, yes.
I'm puzzled, because I think it was a preseason game - I don't believe the Dolphins played the Saints during the regular season in 2020 - but my vague memory is that the preseason games were cancelled that year. Maybe the final one took place?
2020 pre-season was cancelled. 2021 the Dolphins played at the Saints on MNF, on Christmas weekend. Dolphins won 20-3. Mack had two targets, 1 reception, for 40 yards.

Just booked my Bills Stadium Experience for March 19 @3:30 pm. The info indicates it will take 90 minutes.
Bump
I'm also interested to know if they will show/tell you pricing for other areas of the stadium, other than the type you have now. Like if you have clubs, will they only discuss clubs, or let you know pricing on other areas.

You know how you are on the 219 and look over and see the lights of the stadium? I wonder if you’ll be able to see the top of the new stadium from the 219 since it’s going to be higher up from ground level.
Somewhere I read/heard the new stadium will be as tall as the current light towers.- 1

it would have to depart from the American side. Don’t want to make people get passports or Enhanced driver licenses just to go to dinner. -

Any sense how many sections those heaters will be set up?
Nope. -

I think even if the seats stayed on the fry stations would be better. Seems like it heats everything around the area vs just your butt and back. Maybe there could be a mix of both in the new stadium but I just think the covered sections will have heat and nothing else will. Pretty obvious really. But the new stadium will have some. 100s, 200s, 300s and even some 400s that will be covered. 3-4 levels/tiers of covered and heated seats.
I went back and watched the Experience reveal video. At the 7:39 mark they show what I expect is the fry station heaters, so I'm guessing that is what they are going to go with.

like I said, I’m sure technology has changed and there’s other ways now. But we’ll see. You’ve been there long enough to witness both have you not? What’s your opinion on which is better. The actual heated seat, or the overhead fry stations that we have now?
The overhead fry station is better. The seats, when they worked, had a built-in contact/switch, so they were off until you lowered your seat to sit in it. So, you'd be sitting on cold plastic until it warmed up. If you kept standing during a game (stand/sit/stand/sit/etc.) your seat kept "turning off" every time you stood.
Plus, I've had people say to me how cool the stadium looks at the night games on TV with the red glow from the club seats.
