I'm beginning to think that what we do hundreds of miles away from the stadium really has no impact on the outcome of the game after all...
Ummm...

How did your actions yesterday help the Bills to win? Something you ate? Did you change your shirt at halftime? Did you wear any new Bills gear you got for the holidays? I’ll start…
I went back to my normal routine, mowed the lawn in the morning, did not wear any Bills gear. We did mix it up though with trying out some new game day foods, one was a giant pretzel, the other a BBQ chicken dip.

I wander up to the entrance thinking the guy wearing the black SECURITY shirt must know something. I was wrong. I asked what does it take to use the VIP potties. “I have no idea.” OK, I’m thinking this might be very good information. Mr Security tells me Lipton has some new alcoholic beverage they were looking to rollout and promote….. but nobody got a liquor license in time. OOPS!
Which is funny because Twisted Tea was in front of the Bills store with the other vendors, serving samples.

I think Angry Orchard is out of Rochester or thereabouts and they also supply Aldi. That's a bit sweet for me.
I've only gone for concerts, so I'm not sure how a normal weekend crowd doing tastings might be for them.

Meanwhile, Packers fans don't even get a second look from security when they prevent opposing teams from doing the Lambeau Leap.

or what's now just called cider. Is it big inUpstate NY? Lot's of good apples. Do you like it? Dry or sweet?
I love dry and the settings these cideries are in are often beautiful.
Yes. This is about 20 minutes from my house.

I found myself and the wife, but we are in the shadows of the 300 overhang above.

There's a great and touching Bills documentary with Vincent Gallo and Tim Russert talking about Bills fandom (Gallo tells some stories about his mom) that came out probably 15-20 years ago. I'll occasionally try to find it on YouTube, but never have much luck.

Have not watched it yet, but I've seen several internet comments complain about a character named Esmarelda?

How often do teams open retractable roofs? I feel like every time I see Lucas oil it’s closed lol
When the Toronto series was going on, I remember the first game, preseason against the Steelers, driving in and seeing the roof open. But by game time they had shut it.

Pick'em
Two people finished 15-1 this week, mjpbills and Uncle Rico's Mustache. One person did not make any picks *cough SDS cough*.
Survivor
5 people knocked out, 95 still remain
Most popular losing pick was New England by two people
Most popular winning pick was Denver by 41 people
Least popular winning pick were Indianapolis, Minnesota and the LA Rams with each only getting one person picking them.

I did notice several workers there on Sunday. Which makes sense. They can park on the site for free, work for several hours getting OT/Sunday pay, then go in and watch the game.

Just a public poll.

For those of you that were too cheap to get tickets to the opener but are dissing on those who did go and left early, you missed out on the commercial they played in the stadium for the upcoming Oscar/Emmy winning, Buffalo Bills on Hallmark Christmas movie. But here it is for you cheapskates...

Just a question for folks who were there last night.
Was it windy in the stadium?
I don't think so.

I left early, somehow the team sensed I was not feeling well, and it caused them to not play well. Once I got to the hotel and turned on the TV, they sensed I was safe and sound and started their comeback.

I left early, at the end of the 3rd. I wasn't feeling well, and knowing how traffic can be after the game, I just wanted to get back to my hotel and sleep. I was not looking forward to the multi hour drive it would take after the game ended. We did manage to see the last 5 minutes or so once we got to our room, so yes, I'm disappointed I left, but glad the Bills won.
Or you can look at it another way, by leaving early, all the bad juju left the building, which in turn helped the Bills win. Which reminds me, I need to start a thread...

Find a good IPTV service and for $10/$15 a month you can get access to all the major networks from local markets all around the country/world
I ended up doing that this offseason but paid for a whole year. Watching through the IP Smarters app on my Roku. Total investment less than $150.
