  1. The article said they can't find any family and so I'm guessing that going public is a way to help find them. JMO
  2. What he said. TE has looked good in the preseason and Gailey has a knack for getting the most out of his QB's. If TE finishes within the top 15 QB's this year then there are greater holes to worry about than QB next year. JMO Is that sarcasm? I hope so. BBM J.P. Losman, 'nuff said. Amazing isn't it. TE is coming off a great preseason and is working under one of the best QB coaches in the game and yet a lot of people here think the Bills will end up with the number one pick. This isn't for you Dorkington but for a lot of other people here. Wasn't Clausen supposed to be a surefire first rounder in the fall of 2009? Locker could very well end up a late first to early second round draft pick based on what he does and what others do this season. If TE plays to a top 15 level why would anyone want another QB at the expense of a position of greater need? JMO Also, there is so much more that goes into making a high draft pick than you see on the field. Jamarcus Russell looked good coming out but was lazy and didn't care much about the game. I don't know if any of that applies to Locker but it's just a point I feel needs to be made.
  3. Man that sucks. It doesn't sound like he has much family left. I hope his brother is ok. I'm a fan of ELO, this is a bummer.
  4. Good, I felt really bad for the kid after seeing him in the video. It's not what he really wanted but it does give him time to impress the coaches more and maybe be called up later this year. JMO
  5. BBM You ate her?! Seriously, congratulations. I don't have kids but from what I've heard you are embarking down a road of unimaginable joy and unimaginable hell. Hopefully, more of the joy, a lot more of the joy.
  6. I'm amused that some find this thread offensive. It's just a fun thread to admit your mistakes. It's hilarious that so many people here take themselves so seriously that the very idea of this thread is an hostile act to them.
  7. Urbik, right now, is an upgrade for depth. Nothing more, nothing less. JMO
  8. If Wood hadn't been injured last year he'd be the starting center with Hangartner at guard. JMO I think they didn't want to switch up on him while he was rehabbing. If he stays healthy this year he'll be the center next year. JMO
  9. Are you confused about this line in the OP? The Bills send Lynch to Seattle and Seattle sends Buffalo Locklear and a 3rd round 2011 pick that could become a 2nd round pick with Lynch performance clauses.
  10. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/118686-i-usually-hate-the-we-should-get-this-guy-threads/page__pid__1957579#entry1957579
  11. There's nothing about Bell to the Bucs on Rotoworld.
  12. Link ...the trade is going to lead to the departure of right tackle Sean Locklear, who, according to multiple sources, is being shopped in a trade and isn't expected to be around by opening day.... He would at least provide a lot better depth behind Green. Seattle wanted Lynch during the draft so he could be a part of a deal. The Bills send Lynch to Seattle and Seattle sends Buffalo Locklear and a 3rd round 2011 pick that could become a 2nd round pick with Lynch performance clauses. Why trade for him when we know he'll probably be cut? To make sure the Bills get him. JMO
  13. I don't like the addresses and phone numbers being there, but I have no problem with a dog outed on on the internet. If it's someone caught doing a sex act that harms nobody or animal other than themselves I would have a problem with that...sometimes. Sans barrel.
  14. He is a brainiac!
  15. According to Pro Football Weekly 2009 Draft Preview he started at T but was moved to G where he played most of his career. They also say he can play multiple positions on the line. This looks like a very good backup signing with upside.
  16. BBM What he said. I also think Gailey likes to change things up and respects speed. If Roscoe can get a pass over the middle with a hole to run through he should be good for at least 10 yards if not break one for a TD. If we're going back that far, I would have packaged draft picks to select Tony Mandarich. I also thought Carwell Gardner would be the best FB the Bills ever had, I was pissed the Bills traded Peerless Price, I thought Rob Johnson could be a great QB, I thought hiring Tom Donahoe was a stroke of genius, I thought it was dumb to draft McGahee when they had Travis Henry, I thought Lonnie Johnson was a good pick. I wanted the Bills to take LeFevour this draft. I thought Hardy would be a stud WR this year. I'm sure there are a great many more. In my defense I made some good calls, like appreciating Torell Troup ahead of tub of goo Cody and that Robert Ayers would be a disappointment just to name a couple. I can pretty much assure you that my bad decisions far outweigh the good decision. At least I'm willing to admit it. The Wolford comments are unfair, IMO. IIRC, he was among the very first FA class. Maybe second. The Colts put a poison pill inside the contract so the Bills couldn't match it. They guaranteed Wolford would be the highest paid player on the team for the next whatever years. It meant virtually nothing to them but with Kelly, Thomas, Smith, Reed etc... It would have been impossible for the Bills to match it.
  17. I agree. I feel really bad for the guy. Hopefully they'll put him on the practice squad. This is from CDS; Strengths Urbik is very polished having four years and 49 starts under his belt. He rarely ever misses a block and was penalized very few times last season on a line that seemed to be committing a lot of fouls.... Weaknesses Had trouble with lighter quicker ends.... Looked good going into the draft. Let's see what he has in the tank. Doug Whaley was with the Steelers when Urbik was drafted so he's familiar with his college tapes and one year of being on a 53 man roster. JMO
  18. IMO, Urbik was signed because the Bills only had one backup guard going into today. I don't see him as a starter just as a backup with potential. If he becomes starter quality by next year then the Bills can move Wood to center and put Hangartner as a backup or cut him altogether. I think going into today with one backup guard was planned in order to see who would be cut.
  19. I think the FB on the PS is there in case McIntyre gets injured.
  20. I thought the same things.
  21. Thanks for the reminder. I took the Chan Gailey picture out of his litter pan. Now this gives the Bills better leverage in a trade for ML. JMO
  22. Link Report: Al Davis overrules decision to cut Mike Mitchell Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 5, 2010 10:09 AM ET Remember Mike Mitchell? He was the No. 47 overall pick in the 2009 draft, the safety from Ohio University that Mike Mayock and the rest of the nation of draftniks thought Oakland took about five rounds too early.... Just another reason the Faders suck!
