  1. What a bummer. TTCS, it's really sick to make crass jokes so soon after the death has occurred.
  2. I know very little about my internet connection. I use standard road runner right now and I download very little, except for some pictures for my Photobook account. I also watch internet TV like Hulu and my computer has a cable connection for me to watch TV from my cable hook up. It's just like adding another TV without the cable box. How will this affect me? Thanks
  3. I signed the petition but I didn't put my street address on that thing. Just my city and state.
  4. One of the articles I read said he was trying to break through the police line while the fight was going on. The police asked him why he needed to get in there he said; "My cousin's out there, and they've got guns," according to a police report, Stacho said. Linkage I think that's a lot different than him just being disorderly. He was trying to help his cousin. I think a lot of us would try to do the same thing.
  5. You've got to give us more time to post you Jack -ASS!! Two and a half hours isn't enough time for everybody to get in their wishes!! Linkage
  6. Reggie White was 6'5" and Bruce Smith is 6'4" Just pointin out.
  7. And then there were two.
  8. When did Peters ever return punts?
  9. If they are offered a third or better then I say do it up!! before growing the beard? Is a thread for that really necessary?
  10. Maybe you should put that question in the Ask Tim Graham thread.
  11. 6'4" is the optimum I've heard for DE's but you're right there doesn't seem to be any definitive answer as to why. I would guess it's because they have the ability to put more weight on their frame and that is an immense help in stopping the run. JMO I found this from USA Today. It's from 2005 but I think it explains it somewhat; •Requirements: Strength to hold up in the trench wars, speed and agility to aggressively attack and pursue. In other words, a big man with quick feet. The real heavyweights at defensive tackle are counted on to block out the lanes of daylight and in many schemes, tie up blockers that free linebackers to make plays. Ends have duties that vary depending on scheme, too, but no matter the alignment of the X's and O's, pass-rush skills always carry much clout. Georgia's David Pollack racked up plenty of defensive awards during his time as a Bulldog, but some question his size as a defensive lineman. University of Georgia
  12. Did he go Turin? If the Bills want to keep him in on running downs he'll need to add some weight and hopefully it won't affect his speed.
  13. At 6'2" he's a little short for a DE but then that's never hurt Dwight Freeney who's an inch shorter. He's not a good run stopper and might be a situational pass rusher. He would be worth the 11th pick IMO.
  14. Excellent.
  15. Most women buy cars because they're "cute" or they love the yada, yada, yada. They don't give a crap about the mechanics or reliability of said car. As Deano pointed out it's probably better to just let her have her way. Play it up though so you get some sugar when you cave. Odds are that if it does have problems down the road she'll say something like; "We never should have gotten that car." After she says that you'll go to the basement and
  16. The kid can't get out of bed without injuring himself. No thanks.
  17. Raji has some questions about his maturity and ability to condition himself properly and maintain his weight. I'm a little skeptical of those kinds of things because that could point in the direction of bust. JMO
  18. Here's more. It was unclear why Whitner tried to leave the club and head for the melee, though he told officers, "My cousin's out there, and they've got guns," according to a police report, Stacho said. That's a lot different than what has previously been mentioned.
  19. Thanks. I had Facebook completely cleared but for some reason the popup box wasn't associated enough with Facebook for some reason. The message that they were trying to fix it made me believe it wasn't that because I had already cleared Facebook and didn't even notice the problem with popup.. I managed to allow all of the popup box now and it works.
  20. When I try to add a friend to Facebook with Firefox the verification words don't show up. I get a message saying that there is a problem they are trying to correct. I can do it on IE but not Firefox. Does anyone know of a plugin to solve this problem? I looked but couldn't find anything. Thanks
  21. Her name is June Foray Viewers might well be asking themselves that when Rocky talks. As it is no secret, Rocky is the most famous of countless characters who have been given a voice by the Queen of Voice Performers, the legendary June Foray. For a time, it was not uncommon for people to refer to her as "The female Mel Blanc." That prompted her friend (and frequent employer) Chuck Jones to correct folks... "June Foray is not the female Mel Blanc. Mel Blanc was the male June Foray." ________________________________________ She also performed -- before a microphone -- for Tex Avery at MGM and for dozens of Walter Lantz cartoons. But her best-known work in theatrical animation was for Warner Bros. where she quickly became the star female voice, performing in countless films. Her roles included Granny, the feisty owner of Tweety and Sylvester, and the Alice mouse in the Kramdenesque Honeymousersseries. Her favorite? No contest: "I started playing witches...for Disney in Trick or Treatand Witch Hazel for Chuck Jones in several films." Her witches were classic -- and oft-imitated. Even today, casting agents will tell you: They rarely hear a female voice demo tape that doesn't include some approximation of a June Foray witch voice.
