  1. Moorman is one of the best people on the team including his personality.
  2. It's getting better all the time I used to get mad at my school The teachers who taught me weren't cool Holding me down, turning me round Filling me up with your rules.
  3. What he said. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! IT HURTS IT HURTS Exactly right!! I like that you do that. It's your job to express your opinion. You aren't the first journalist to go good and bad here based on your writings. Given the track record of a lot of people on this board (myself included sometimes) rating writers by when they say good and when they bad things it shouldn't be surprising in the least.
  4. Tim, I have a question about athletes on the cover of Sports Magazines and commercials. College athletes are forbidden to make any money off their teams. Do they get paid for those covers or being in the ESPN commercials? I'm assuming the pro-athletes are paid.
  5. He should have asked him if he thought he'd even be on the show if it wasn't for his fame. If he didn't like that there were no ground rules then bye bye fella. Poor eyesight and stupidity.
  6. Dam that's a bad joke.
  7. I go to parties sometimes until four It's hard to leave when you can't find the door It's tough to handle this fortune and fame Everybody's so different I haven't changed
  8. What he said. I agree. Cool let the drunken red necks kill each other. I have no idea how you reached that conclusion. After his hit and run accident he refused to talk to the media for months. If the Commissioner hadn't become involved in his latest scrape then I doubt he would have apologized at all unless the Bills forced him to.
  9. From the article. That's Jauron's polite phrase for a sudden disconnect between an organization and one of its cornerstone players. I'm not sure Crowell was a "cornerstone" player.
  10. He had a shoulder separation and surgery on that shoulder. He also had ankle sprains that caused him to miss ten total games since high school with them. They kept popping up at different times. To me those are potentially chronic injuries. The pros play a much faster hard hitting game and if his shoulder and ankle can't hold up to the game he's a wasted draft pick. IMO, he has bust written all over him. What's interesting is USC had a stellar LB corps. Can anyone of them do the same thing in the NFL with lesser talent around them? I'm not a big fan of Ayers but Maycock knows his stuff. I would feel a lot better now if the Bills drafted him. JMO
  11. What he said.
  12. The only reason BBT's band was on the radio to begin with is because of his name. Mentioning his acting career for five seconds before the interview is not being a douche. When the interviewer asks if music was his first love and BBT says would you ask Tom Petty that? He seems to be comparing himself to Tom Petty!!!??? What a heinous prick!! Then the interviewer asks him what his influences were and BBT says again would you ask Tom Petty that? Actually he probably would. In fact I've seen interviews with Tom Petty late in his career where he's been asked that exact question. I also would have asked how his band mates put up with such an A-hole in the band. If I were the interviewer I would have asked him if he for one second thought he was comparable to Tom Petty. That's just amazingly egotistical. The guy obviously has a high opinion of himself. He had eight albums out and I would have asked what his sales numbers were for them and then pointed out his acting was a lot more successful than his music and that's why a very little of the interview was about that. If BBT had gone along with the musical questions that I thought weren't out of line at all he could have promoted his band. All he did is come off like a jackass. I think he was on something.
  13. I hope Chris Browns success rate sucks. I hope this guy is of their draft board altogether. He's a walking injury waiting to happen. This is from the Pro Football Weekly 2009 Draft Preview: Missed 3 games in high school with an ankle sprain. In 2005 he had a shoulder separation and missed five games. He underwent surgery on his shoulder and missed some of spring practice 2006. In 2007 He missed most of spring practice with a hamstring injury and had arthroscopic knee surgery after spring practice ended. In the first game of 2007 he had a sprained left ankle in his first game of the season and missed two starts. He re-injured it again and missed five starts. Had arthroscopic surgery on his ankle before the '08 season. Broke a bone in his hand last year and bruised his shoulder as well last year. I hope this is a smoke screen! If they spent the #11 pick on this kid I'd Ellis was a walking injury in college and he finished the season on IR. DE Chris Ellis: Now, don't get me wrong. Expectations for rookie third-round picks should be tempered. But Buffalo had a dire need for an edge rusher last off-season, and Ellis was drafted to be that situational guy. Simply put, he wasn't. Ellis barely saw the field until he was forced into action by other injuries (Aaron Schobel and Copeland Bryan most often), and couldn't even beat out practice squad fodder like Bryan on the depth chart. Now he's on IR, and there's very few fans out there who believe he can make an impact as a second-year pro in 2009. His coaches might be right there with us. Link Their medical staff sucks at evaluating college injuries.
  14. Thursday is supposed to be the day Jauron comes out and explains the very complex trade parameters. I'm hoping it's early in the day I don't want to be waiting that long! (I'm just so excited!!)
  15. (I'm holding my breath until you take that back!!)
  16. He was with the Cowboys last year! Moron! Pffft, who's this Tim Graham guy? I've never heard of him and he writes for ESPN. Why the hell should I trust him.
  17. Oh well, we knew it was gonna be something, at least it's less than four games. What kind of car does he drive? You're forgetting the four joints in car with three total men. Do the math. IIRC the first violation of the leagues substance abuse policy isn't made public. I'm betting he was drug tested for the MJ and failed. That's probably why he seems to be getting punished a little harsher than he should. What's your solution. Jackson can't carry the full load somebody has to spell him. The question is what retired RB will want to sign for only three games? They might bring back A-Train. TO is gonna love those first three games because the Bills will be pass happy due to a weakend running game. I just hope he doesn't get pissed on the fourth game when his looks drop drastically.
  18. Burkett cried a lot because Kelly kept throwing to Reed all the time. Well Chris when is your HOF party scheduled for? I forget where I got this from: 1. 1974 Steelers’ Draft Greatest Ever In 1974 the Pittsburgh Steelers hit the motherload when they selected four future Hall of Fame players: wide receiver Lynn Swan in round 1, linebacker Jack Lambert in round 2, wide receiver John Stallworth in round 4 and center Mike Webster in round 5. No other draft has produced more than two Hall of Famers. If they had only selected one more, they might have "Won One for the Thumb." * Teams have selected two Hall of Famers in a single draft a dozen times. 2. (1965) The Chicago Bears seleted linebacker Dick Butkus and halfback Gale Sayers with the 3rd and 4th picks in the first round. 3. (1970) The Steelers' again made the list of multiple Hall of Fame draftees with quarterback Terry Bradshaw, the first pick in the entire draft, and 3rd round selection defensive back Mel Blount. (1964) both the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys picked a pair of future Famers. 4. Washington took Charley Taylor and Paul Krause. 5. Cowboys Mel Renfro and Roger Staubach. 6. (1963) KC Buck Buchanan and linebacker Bobby Bell in 1963. 7. (1958) The Green Bay Packers Jim Taylor and middle linebacker deluxe Ray Nitschke . 8. (1945) The Rams selected a pair of receivers Elroy Crazylegs Hirsch and Tom Fears. 9. The 1936 Bears, in the first draft ever, Joe Stydahar and guard Danny Fortman. 10. (1947) The Giants Tom Landry (who was really elected to the Hall based on his coaching prowess) and Art Donavan. 11. (1953) Browns followed suit by drafting defensive lineman Doug Atkins, who became a star with the Bears, and linebacker-guard Chuck Noll (1957) Thus far, more Hall of Famers were selected in 1957 than in any other year. 12. The Browns and the Eagles both had multiple picks. Cleveland took the greatest running back ever when it selected Jim Brown and Henry Jordan. 13. The Eagles helped build a strong passing game by drafting wide receiver Tommy McDonald and quarterback Sonny Jurgensen. While the selection of Hall of Famers is by no means the only way to evaluate a draft, few could argue that the picks of the Steelers in 1974 must be rated as the best of the class. If Darryl Talley ever makes it into the HOF then the Bills 1983 draft will have two HOF's in it too.
  19. It's funny cuz it's true. Man everybody has a theory on why Polian left. As many have pointed out Burroughs was a stud CB. Also, are you aware of how many single team drafts since the very beginning of the NFL draft, in 1936, have yielded two HOF players? In my next post I'll tell you. When you realize how few there are compared to the number of total teams that drafted each year you'll see the number is staggeringly small. I don't know how many teams total picked over 70 years but there were 70 drafts up to 2006. Either people are too young to remember those drafts or weren't born yet. Links for those statements? What I heard about Polians firing is that he went off on Ralph at a party at Ralph's estate and Ralph decided to can him at the end of the year. Polian's anger problem has gotten a lot more under control but he could be a major A-hole when he wanted to be.
  20. Ya think! You're only as old and stupid as you feel.
  21. Why couldn't I have been born with huge amounts of sports talent!!!! I wouldn't have given her herpes I'd be a lot more careful than that.
  22. Pam Anderson??!!!:sick: Jessica Alba!!!!!!
  23. I'd never seen that before! Why'd the Jack-ASS!! use a Bills logo in the back!! Pets* or Poorpisses would be a lot better! EDIT: The article is funnier than S#!+!!!! Poor JP. I wonder if he'll ever see that?
  24. My high school class is immortalized on one of his records, I forget the lead in but it's ...from Penfield 1982, give 'em thirty virgins and they wouldn't know what to do. It's my brush with greatness. Even though I wasn't there.
