  1. Ryan Leaf is seen as the biggest quarterback bust in league history by many, but it's not Leaf; it's Marinovich, who while trying to rebel against his uber-controlling pops ended up as an alleged drug-addicted career criminal. When you read the following passage from Sports Illustrated, it says a lot about why Marinovich might be the way he is. "He has never eaten a Big Mac or an Oreo or a Ding Dong," wrote the magazine. "When he went to birthday parties as a kid, he would take his own cake and ice cream to avoid sugar and refined white flour. He would eat homemade catsup, prepared with honey. He did consume beef but not the kind injected with hormones. He ate only unprocessed dairy products. He teethed on frozen kidney. When Todd was one month old, [father] Marv was already working on his son's physical conditioning. He stretched his hamstrings. Pushups were next. Marv invented a game in which Todd would try to lift a medicine ball onto a kitchen counter. Marv also put him on a balance beam. Both activites grew easier when Todd learned to walk. There was a football in Todd's crib from day one." Maybe Todd Marinovich never had a chance. Marinovich was arrested, according to published reports, because he missed a mandatory review in Newport Beach. Two years ago he pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, syringe possession and resisting arrest. In all, according to reports, Marinovich has nine prior cases in the Orange County courts alone. How this ends for Marinovich depends on if anyone can reach him. For now, his lack of an NFL career is the least of his worries. The father was worse than Jonbenet's mother. At least Jonbenet's mother allowed her to have some semblance of a childhood. Marinovich's father was living vicariously through his son from day one and maybe before. He never let the kid be a kid and that caused him a lot of psychological problems that exploded when he moved out. 'Nuff said.
  2. Thanks dude. Mine just showed up today and it's the best draft guide I've ever seen.
  3. One thing that really bothers me is that some of pooparoozi will try to bait stars into hitting them for a good story and a great payday. A lot of these guys are lower than grubbs. I also hate it when they stalk the celebrities with their children.
  4. When I read the title I thought it was Beerball's birthday.
  5. Some people here need a panty debuncher. The Bills and Jackson's agent, Jerome Douglas, have been talking about a longer-term deal for several weeks. It's probably a little slow for both him and Peters because they are negotiating the two contracts now. I think they will be fair to both. Hopefully before the draft. What he said. He's working out in Buffalo right now. It sounds to me like he'll be there faster than a jackrabbit with a jetpack when he signs for both mandatory and voluntary workouts. The article makes it sound like he could be there if he wanted. I agree. Hopefully this will be done before the draft as well as Peters. JMO
  6. Ancient Chinese secret huh!! Everette Brown
  7. Jason Taylor
  8. Are you saying that Loadholt could come in and start in his first year and be anything close to what Peters is?
  9. Yeah, a guy who goes from a TE to a pro-bowl LT has a bad attitude towards becoming a great player. Just pay the man and be done with it. JMO
  10. Marvtard? Just leave. What year did Hansen make the pro-bowl? Hansen had 61.5 sacks in 11 years. Schobel has 68 sacks in eight years and is second on the Bills all time sack list behind Bruce Smith. Popularity poll? I don't think so. After a guy makes it the first time it's easier to make it the second time but the first time is usually deserved IMO. Oh yeah, I forgot coverage sacks don't count. I expect him to rebound this year. We'll see.
  11. Taylor is past his prime and wouldn't contribute much. He had 3.5 sacks last year for the Redskins and only played 13 games.
  12. You say that like it's a bad thing. IIRC, Australia has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the free world. Is that true and how does it affect crime and punishment there? Chris Rock said we don't need gun control we need bullet control. Every bullet should cost $5,000. If you heard about a guy getting 10 bullets pumped into him you'd have to say; "He musta done something"
  13. I totally disagree. After the draft Peters leverage is much better because the Bills wouldn't be able to replace him unless they had drafted an OT high in the draft.
  14. What he said. My saying to shoot them is a little tongue in cheek but when you consider the Princess Di thing it's probably sometimes not a bad idea, just sayin.
  15. I don't think it would be a good Idea to take pay based on attendance.
  16. I'm assuming that you think Peters will be traded but since it's impossible to know what the Bills will get for him you're sticking to the draft as it stands. If you aren't there is no reason for Buffalo to take a T #1. I like your pick of Conner Brown. He's a DE with A LOT of upside since he's a converted TE who just started playing DE last year. Because of that he can also be used as a TE at the goal line. Very good idea. Jared Cook is a little risky in my mind but not enough to keep from drafting him. If he reaches his potential then he's going to be a steal being taken in the third round. If Kraig Urbik is still around in the fourth round take him there but I'd prefer to take the best OG in the draft because he's going to have to come in as an immediate starter. I think Robinson is a lot more capable of doing that. JMO Zach Follet, I just realized I left LB totally off my list. His durability is a concern with shoulder surgery on both shoulders. I'm not big on possible nagging injuries in draft choices. Brandon Underwood is viewed as more of a CB instead of a S. He's 6'1" and 192 pounds. The Bills need a SS and he just doesn't have the bulk to really take on RB's. JMO. Antonio Dixon I don't know enough about. Everette Brown agree. Eric Wood I think will still be available when the Bills pick in the third round. I like his versatility but he's best suited to play C. but I think the Bills are already committed to Hargartner as C. If the Bills didn't need a starting LG he'd be a good project guy that could start a LG next year but the Bills need a starter this year. JMO Marcus Freeman is an injury waiting to happen, IMO. He's also a bit small for the position. Travis Beckhum may be gone by the fourth round and IMO is an injury waiting to happen. Roy Miller I really like this pick I just think he'll be available in the sixth round. Lyndon Murtha I don't know enough about him but I like the idea of taking an OT here to possibly play the RT position. Tony Fiammetta will be gone by now, JMO if he is available then it's a tremendous pick. In order to correct my mistake about not taking a LB I'll replace Fiammatta with Frantz Joseph - OLB - Florida Atlantic 6'2" 243 4.76
  17. If you had a group of guys waiting outside your house to get pictures of you all the time It would become annoying very fast. It is interesting how celebs have a love/hate relationship with the pooparoozi. I just think they go too far. And yeah just winging a dude is ok with me.
  18. What she said. God I hated that pick. A first round pick that played like a fourth rounder.
  19. These jackasses go way beyond the limits of what is acceptable. If you were being stalked by these guys I think you'd have a different view. They aren't doing anything illegal just immoral. If a guy stands outside an awards show and doesn't get too close to someone then cool for them. If they wait outside a celebrities house waiting for them to come out or someone to come in then something more than an arrest is warranted. The assfaces that were around octo-mom were insane. If I lived on that street I'd be so pissed I might consider it myself. I don't think all pooparazzi should be shot and I didn't say killed I said winged.
  20. If somebody breaks into another person's house and the owner shoots them It's one less jackass in the world. I hate the relatives of people who are shot in these circumstances. It's always "He was a good kid, he didn't deserve it" type BS. If your kid was a good kid he wouldn't be dead. 'Nuff said. The family of a kid who shot a cop in the back of the head here in Rochester said the same damn things.
  21. I don't think statistically things are any worse than they were before the growth of 24 hour news channels and shows about murders and mayhem. It's the over exposure of these things that makes America a paranoid society. JMO
  22. The Pooparoozi have been, allegedly, involved in causing accidents and deaths. I am no Brady fan but everybody deserves privacy. I just wish one of shooters would have winged one of the bastards.
  23. Ok let's see. #1 (11) I'm hoping it's traded but if not then I'd like Everette Brown DE - Florida State - 6'2" 256 4.66 #2 (42) Duke Robinson - G - Oklahoma - 6'5" 329 5.32 #3 (75) Fili Moala - DT - Southern California - 6'4" 305 5.07 #4 (110) Cornelius Ingram - TE - Florida - 6'4" - 240 4.65 #5 (147) Tony Fiammetta - FB - Syracuse - 6'0" 246 4.58 #6 (183) Kevin Ogletree - WR - Virgina - 6'2" 190 4.5 #7 (220) Graham Gano - K/P Florida State - 6'1" 192 5.00
  24. I'm sure the Pets* have it somewhere.
