  1. Agreed, if the conditional pick can be up to a second rounder I'll say good trade.
  2. If it's a first and fourth I'll be very disappointed. At the very least they should get the low first and a third.
  3. If they get Philly's two first round picks straight up then, even though I don't want him to go, it would be a great trade. Any way they can get those two picks would be great. Like Philly's two picks for our third and Peters. Stroud, Evans, TO and Dockery would seem to blow that argument away. It tells me that in 2008 Philly went 9-6-1. It tells me that in 2007 they went 8-8 It tells me that in 2006 they went 10-6 How do you know it's all about money for him?
  4. Linky Rodney Tate, 70, is accused of carrying inappropriate examinations of eleven women. After one of his patients undressed he told her to 'twirl around' before the Brighton doctor so he could get a better look, the General Medical Council heard. The accusations date back to 1977 when Tate asked a girl complaining of a sore throat to remove all her clothes, it is claimed. She was then told to lie on the examination couch at the Old Steine Surgery, while Tate touched her inner thighs, it is alleged.
  5. Ok, a priest, a rabbi and the Bills front office walk into a bar...
  6. Yeah, it was tiny. The photosynthesis was taken care of by some fireflies he inhaled too.
  7. Linkage The amazing 'discovery' was apparently made when they opened up Artyom Sidorkin, 28, to remove what they thought was a serious tumour. Mr Sidorkin had complained of extreme pain in his chest and had been coughing up blood. Doctors were convinced he had cancer. We were 100 per cent sure," said Vladimir Kamashev, a surgeon in Izhevsk in the Urals. "We did X-rays and found what looked exactly like a tumour. "I had seen hundreds before, so we decided on surgery." Before removing part of the man's lung, the surgeon investigated the tissue. "I thought I was hallucinating," said Mr Kamashev. "I asked my assistant to have a look: 'Come and see this – we've got a fir tree here'. He nodded in shock. I blinked three times as I was sure I was seeing things." HOLY !!!! And he wondered why birds were always trying to climb down his throat!
  8. 1 11 (11) Leodis McKelvin CB Troy University 2 10 (41) James Hardy WR Indiana 3 9 (72) Chris Ellis DE Virginia Tech 4 15 (114) Reggie Corner DB Akron - I expect him to make the fourth corner spot. 4* 33 (132) Derek Fine TE Kansas - Even if Buffalo drafts a TE high in the draft he will still be on the team. 5 12 (147) Alvin Bowen OLB Iowa State - Since he's coming back from an ACL injury he might be practice squaded. It really depends on the linebackers the Bills draft this year. They have: Jon Corto, John DiGiorgio, Vince Hall, Marcus Buggs, Paul Posluszny, Blake Costanzo and Kawika Mitchell. 6 13 (179) Xavier Omon RB Northwest Missouri State - I think he gets replaced by a rookie draft pick this year. He'll stay on til ML returns but then I expect him to be cut. 7 12 (219) Demetrius Bell T Northwestern State - Assuming JP is re-signed there's a chance he could make the RT spot or possibly move into the LG spot but I doubt it. Anyhoo, he makes the team again this year. 7 17 (224) Steve Johnson WR Kentucky - Makes the team could step up big this year. 7* 44 (251) Kennard Cox DB Pittsburgh * - Compensatory pick
  9. It's a 6:18 video out of a one hour game of which the D was approx. on the field for a half hour. IMO, it's not supposed to be a video of him merely carrying out his assignments it's supposed to be a video of great plays. If it's a video of his carrying out assignments then what did he do the other 23:82 minutes? That's just how I approached it. If it's not a highlight reel then whats the point of the six minute video? Was he off the field a lot? Was he situational guy? I just didn't see anything great about him and the guard he was going against was awful during that game. JMO
  10. That dude pulled one over on you bad! He left there laughing at you for being so gullible. Agreed 100%
  11. This was my analysis of the same video; Play one was horrendous guard play and not much from Ayers IMO. Ayers goes in unblocked. He never has to take on an offensive lineman at all. Play two he was unblocked again. Third play he doesn't do much and the guy makes decent yardage. Fourth play is the first one there on a running play to stop the runner and then the runner is gang tackled (good play) Fifth play Ayers gets a lot of pressure on the QB. Very good play. Sixth play Ayers fakes out the guard who couldn't block my grandma on that play. Seventh play Ayers stop comes with a lot of help from 55. Eight play. I have no idea why this play is even in the Ayers highlight reel. Ninth play. Excellent run stuff. Tenth play. Another why is this even on the highlight reel play. Eleventh play. Why is this in the highlight reel. He chases after the RB but into the arms of other players. I may be looking at the wrong guy because I can't tell if it's 94 or 91 on the jersey. Twelfth play. Why is this on the highlight reel? Thirteenth play impressive stop of the RB. Fourteenth play. Why is this on the highlight reel? So my analysis of the highlight reel breaks down into four good plays out 14. Five that shouldn't even be on the highlight reel and the rest he's pretty much unblocked. I didn't see him double teamed at all during that game. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm pretty sure I saw that. The guards and tackles he'll play against in the NFL won't be as bad as those guys were on that day. There is very little evidence he break blocks effectively in the NFL. In fact he looks like he'll be eaten alive by those guys. He's a better LB prospect because if the guys up front open a hole for him he could do some damage.
  12. Didn't read the whole thread so sorry if some of this has been covered already. Somebody posted a link to a highlight video of him and I was underwhelmed. (In my best Mr. Rogers) Can you say Erik Flowers? I knew ya could
  13. (sigh) I know dat! I'm sure there's someone at OBD that has heard it before.
  14. Makes ya wonder about what it does inside ya!
  15. Bonehead, that's why I asked. I've heard different things.
  16. They will if public sentiment keeps building.
  17. I meant to start a thread about that too when I saw it! I can't believe he admitted it too! Where's Buffalo? And he made it through college. See my other posts on this board about guys being hustled through the system and coddled the whole way. sWillis is definitely one of those guys. It's a good thing they didn't say the North American Continent. "Where's that?"
  18. The system will include lines in the Pacific Northwest, the Southeast and New England and a hub in Obama’s hometown of Chicago The Pacific Northwest has me scratching my noggin too. I also hope a very small part of it would be to test out mag-lev technology here. It's expensive right now but it is the future and getting some experience and testing with it wouldn't be a bad thing. IMO
  19. Lana scooped ya dude! I would think the mother ships would be easier to find. They can't all be found but if one is found then bomb the ever living $#!+ out of it. JMO I wonder if the smaller ships could make it back without the mother ship?
  20. How so? Every team has Jewish fans and so why should a team in another town suffer for their fans just because the Jests are babies. What the Jests are complaining about is the ability of Jewish fans to come to the stadium. I was going to point out the same thing. So the Jests want the Giants to suffer instead? What a bunch of crybabies.
  21. That'd be a great choice! I disagree. Nobody breaks down film better than Jaws. ETA: I think he's retiring because it looks like Favre is seriously retiring this year.
  22. Linkage On the other hand, the offense was not much of a problem in 2008, and most analysts agree that it's the defense that needs improving this offseason. The team took a step in the right direction by hiring Gregg Williams as the new defensive coordinator, but now the Saints need to give the man some firepower (Talking about the Jests) With that in mind, and given their lack of a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver, it's now believed they'll be targeting that position in this month's draft. Teams picking after the Jests might want to move up before they pick for a receiver but they'd probably trade back lower than Buffalo. If Crabtree falls to the Bills then a lot of suitors should show up. Crabtree has been out with that foot injury and teams may shy away from him because of that. (crossing fingers). That didn't happen, but according to rumors, Brady Quinn is still being actively shopped by the team, with a first-round pick likely coming to Cleveland in exchange. Teams with a need at quarterback that might be able to offer this level of compensation are the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 8, the San Francisco 49ers at No. 10, the Buffalo Bills at No. 11, This is about a possible trade for Denver to move up into the #8 pick with Jacksonville; They'll be installing a 3-4 scheme in 2009, and two of the draft's top prospects would be greatly beneficial in this effort. Boston College's B.J. Raji, whose suspected positive drug test has not been officially confirmed by anyone from the NFL, is the best available player to line up at nose tackle in a 3-4, while Texas' Brian Orakpo is a pass-rushing specialist who would thrive in a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker role in a 3-4. If that happens what position would Buffalo go for?
  23. Do you believe Whitner would have been there on the Bills next pick? I don't think anyone does. If Huff had fallen one more spot and Buffalo took him Kiper would have been talking about it being a great pick but, Whitner has been the better S. Kiper will piss and moan about what a pathetic pick a guy was at that slot they could've gotten better VALUE out of pick such and such. I've noticed though that on draft days he doesn't go back to prior drafts and say; "I though player such and such was a better VALUE but I was dead wrong." As mentioned above by VJ91 no GM's use the word reach. It's only used by draftniks.
  24. Well they're starting to rear their ugly heads. Our side of the argument is at 67.50% as of right now. How do you know where a teams scouting department has players rated? Great point about GM's and the word reach. Kiper will scream and yell on draft day. If the "reach" player has a lesser career than anyone taken after him then Kiper will crow the next year that he was right. IIRC, he said Huff was a great pick and Whitner should have gone later. I think "reaching" does mean something but that's only if a player will be there next pick. Obviously the FO's know more about that than the fan does, no really it's true, so it has to be a very obvious reach IMO.
  25. BADA BING!! PTSCH!
