  1. Had a stroke and worked for Taco Bell, hmmm what're the odds? Gidget has now been shipped to China for her to be buried in a Chinese taco.
  2. Jason Peters Langston Walker Not much difference. Walker looks a little more in shape. JMO
  3. Cool! the rest should be signed by the end of the week! I hope.
  4. IMO, a players ability extends to the other areas of a football team. JP was a distraction who let his play slip due to contract concerns and that affects his abilities on the field and in the lockerroom. After the draft his value would have plummeted. Teams in desperate need of a LT would have already filled the position in the draft. IMO LINKY Asked if the contract situation affected his play, Peters said: “A little bit. I was thinking about it sometimes. If you get beat on a play and you think about your contract. It doesn’t affect me that much. I thought about it some early in the year but later on in the year it wasn’t a big deal.” Peters was asked to respond to the stat that indicated he gave up 11.5 sacks last year. “That’s the first time I’ve heard that stat. I don’t recall giving up that many. If they charged me with that many, so what? I’m an Eagle now. If I give up 11.5 sacks, I’m only human. I’m going to give 100% on every play.”
  5. Peters is 6'4" and 340 pounds Walker is 6"8" and 366 pounds For his height I don't think Walker is grossly overweight. JMO
  6. A known experienced player is far better than an unknown player, IMO, and I would guess the majority of NFL front offices see it that way too.
  7. IMO, the best part of the article; "In fact, I've thought about it a lot at night. I want that for him, and I feel the accountability. It's my job now to get him going. Because I think he'll make the commitment and I'll make the commitment, too." This is his big chance. If he's not the best QB, by far, in the league it will not bode well for him. Your proof of that? What he said. Your proof of that? 2004 TSN draft guide had him as the fourth best QB and a first rounder. Also Sportsfan magazine had this to say; J.P. Losman, out of Tulane, highly coveted by Green Bay to replace Brett Favre, is now in Buffalo, likely to take over after Drew Bledsoe. Losman brings an attitude, which has been missing there in a while.
  8. Agreed. I have zero concerns with Butler moving to RT. He played 30 games at that position in college and has the physical tools, IMO, to play it in the NFL. I don't call Mike Williams a gamble. A huge bust, yes. A gamble, no. If the Bills had passed on him there is a good chance the Vikings would have taken him instead of Mckinney. He was very highly rated by a lot of teams he's just a guy that didn't live up to his hype. JMO What he said +1 I agree totally with that. If he had stayed in Buffalo there is no guarantee that his bad attitude about the contract would've dissolved away after the money was laid on the table. He might be hair on fire motivated for the bEagles this year to show Buffalo they were stupid to let him go, but that won't last for years. I also think he's dealing with a much different breed of cat in the NFCE. Haynesworth and Umenyiora will make him look ordinary this year. JMO As stated above I believe the bEagles may get one motivated year from him but the NFCE DE's will make him look ordinary. The two guards they got this year more than make up for Peters' loss. I guess we'll see. You don't really believe that the Bills turned down better offers for him do you? I agree that in theory they might have gotten more but the fact that nobody offered more is very telling, IMO. Nor does everyone think your way, pal. In fact it's really "uninformed" to think that the prior administrations have anything to do with this one. fan Function: noun Etymology: probably short for fanatic Date: 1682 1 : an enthusiastic devotee (as of a sport or a performing art) usually as a spectator 2 : an ardent admirer or enthusiast (as of a celebrity or a pursuit) <science-fiction fans> Most of us are fans here. If you enjoy running down the Bills so much I'm sure you'd more than welcome at the Jests, Poorpisses or Pets* boards. Well, let's dwell on the past for moment. AFL Championships 1964 and 1965. They also went to four consecutive SB's in the 90's. Their past doesn't seem so bad to me.
  9. I hope this is like the Star Wars kid who was put on Youtube! without his knowledge. If this kid did it himself then he desperately needs help. More than Deano or Deerball even.
  10. Agreed! But if we're removing those plays from the equation then the run back throw forward would be the one, but that was just hideous officiating. If that play had happened in Buffalo it would have ruled illegal. The ref just wanted to be able to leave the stadium with his skin intact. Good God I hated Ronnie Harmon (As a player). I seem to recall him being an east west runner who would go back and forth until he was tackled behind the line. It reminded me of ducks in a carnival duck shoot. He was a much better receiver but his running style gave me high blood pressure and I was only in my early 20's!
  11. Excellent source. I certainly wouldn't want to join any inner circle that would have me for a member. That's where the argument begins and ends with who was better, Reggie White or Bruce Smith? Too many people don't get that and attribute White as being better. They could move Bruce to NT and he was just as effective. They put him at NT for a play against Miami one time and their C (who's name I forget now) looked up and saw Bruce who smiled and said hi and the guy dropped his jaw and was so unnerved he got a false start penalty. They started out thinking that way but realized it wasn't working so well and that's why they traded for Stroud. IMO What makes you think that has changed at all? As his career progressed he got better at overpursuing on draw plays and was much better at stopping the run. He really was an all around DE. JMO
