  1. Link UPDATE: Official documents show the following drugs were in Mays' system -- hydrocodone (Vicodin), oxycodone (painkiller), alprazolam (Xanax), nordiazepam (Valium), benzoylecgonine (byproduct of cocaine) and temazepam (anti-anxiety). Ethanol -- alcohol -- was also in Mays' system. Link Depending on the period of use of cocaine- either acute or chronic, the detection period in the urine is from 2/4 days to 3 weeks. I'm thinking that that's how they determined the drug use. From the thread starting article; The medical examiner "concluded that cocaine use caused or contributed to the development of his heart disease, and thereby contributed to his death," the office said in a press release. The office said Mays last used cocaine in the few days before his death but was not under the influence of the drug when he died. Hillsborough County spokeswoman Lori Hudson said nothing in the toxicology report indicated the frequency of Mays' cocaine use.
  2. What he said.
  3. Sealant. My father said the best time to seal is when there are hot days and cold nights.
  4. My old steering wheel club wouldn't fit on my new cars steering wheel due to the airbag bump. Maybe they've changed them recently. No, but a friend of mine in high school did. I also worked in a gas station pumping gas (yes I know how much that dates me.) and a guy pulled in with a monster truck frame and a pinto body on top. My rims need a special sized socket to get them off.
  5. Let me guess, mother in laws address? My address is 1750 Pennsylvania Ave. NW. In Washington. Bu-rrr-ing it on!!
  6. Good question. I'd think since Ralph is being inducted they most likely will be there as well as a lot of former players for Ralph and Bruce.
  7. Linky TV Pitchman Billy Mays' Cocaine Use Aided In Death McKEES ROCKS, Pa. (CBS) ―Television pitchman Bill Mays' sudden death was partly due to his cocaine use, according to an autopsy report revealed Friday.
  8. Better vowels than bowels. "Excuse me sir, would you mind stepping aside so I may run to the quarterback?" Link? Perhaps nobody thought it was funny enough to post, except you. How do you know it's the same guy? Do you have any idea how many Ataefiok Etukerens there are running around?
  9. First off, IMO, is that you're more than ready to quit if you're posting about it here. Take the initiative and keep at it. One suggestion I've had, for friends who smoke only, is to take a jar and put the money you'd normally spend on your vice into it every week. Then after a year spend it on something you want not on something you need. Watching that money accumulate will show you how much money you've wasted and give you a goal to reach for. He's right, IMO, avoid AA. You're much better off with a program like his wife's because they are there to help not convert. Penn and Teller's BS on twelve step programs; Part one. NSFW Part two Part three AA after one year has a 5% success rate. IMO, you're an alcoholic. JMO
  10. That sounds like an interesting book, I'll probably read it, but I still feel the direction, of all journalism, has been on the decline since corporations took over the major networks and newspapers and decided to squeeze the budgets past the ability to provide accurate reporting and hard nosed investigative journalism. JMO Isn't there a Pets* board somewhere you could go to. Your thinly veiled fandom for the Pets* was funny for awhile but now it's just pathetic.
  11. Good old fashioned investigative journalism, IMO, no longer exists. I'm sure there is more to this story than was reported. Tucker even reported about various rules being broken by the Pets* and yet he's the only person to talk about it. Granted he said it occurred several years ago while he was with the team but if anyone believes it's not still going on then they should be offered to buy a bridge in NYC. The problem as I see it is that if a media outlet, let's say the AP for example, finds out everything and reports it they'll find their press passes to the Pets* lockerroom are suddenly no good anymore. If they report that their credentials have been revoked by the Pets* due to their story it may lead to them to just getting the same access they had before or the whole NFL could get pissed off at them. It's a gamble to big to take, IMO. Even if they get the credentials back good luck trying to interview any players anymore. I am not about to compare the importance of this to Whitehouse scandals. I'm just using them as an example of a greater problem across the board. The days of Woodward and Bernstein are long gone. Today, from what I've read, media outlets take the press releases given to them by the Whitehouse and then rewrite them a little and move on with the next story. Somebody out there needs to have the cajones to look a little deeper into things. IMO, that's not gonna happen very much anymore. I agree. I think there was a lot more to this than was looked into. It seems it was a "The Commissioner says there's nothing there so there must be nothing there" so it's time to move on kinda thing. It seems the questions about the communications interference were never completely looked into either.
  12. Trust me you can shoot them all day. The suckers never die. A polish can walks into a furniture store....
  13. Hey! Now you guys have a chance!
  14. Meh, no great loss. The Pets* overpaid for him. What he said.
  15. What a bummer. Many great films left behind. I didn't know he directed Planes, Trains and Automobiles. A great movie and Thanksgiving Day classic!
  16. How about if tries to dye trying?
  17. You would have to be a huge wanker to even make an issue about this once you find out the story. If I went to complain about it at his house and found out the reason I'd apologize and tell him I hope his son comes home safe and soon. Why anyone else wouldn't see that as the obvious answer to this is a real  Oh, yeah I forgot they're a too!
  18. (sniffle) That's right. Isn't buying the world some coke illegal?
  19. The Faders have too much tied up in RB's. Considering all the other needs they have drafting McFadden after Fartgas has over a thousand yards in seven starts is ludicrous. JMO I still think the fourth game will be a slow road back. I'm guessing 10.
  20. Thank you! IIRC they gave Denver a third rounder for that mook!
  21. How do you rectify your Christian beliefs with waterboarding? That's all I'm asking. If you believe Jesus would be all for waterboarding and would participate in them himself then that's your belief. I don't think it fits into Jesus' teachings but if you do then you're entitled to your belief system. If you don't believe Jesus would waterboard anyone or support waterboarding then you need to question how your political ideals mesh with your religious ideals.
  22. A draft pick would do if it was at least a third or fourth rounder. Are they overstocked on LT's? Who was the DB the Bills traded with Denver for who Wade made sure everyone knew was a punt catcher.
  23. You sucked. Nobody would believe that crap!
  24. And because I can't stop watching these once I get started here are some more. #2 - androgyne. #5 Old Lady gives Simon what for! More
