  1. I'd be willing to bet that a TV set isn't the only place he's done that.
  2. That's a mistake. I can't find him on any other list and as pointed out he's signed through 2012 on a contract he signed last August. I wish he was a UFA. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...n:twit:patriots Nick Kaczur's extension Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff August 24, 2009 05:01 PM The following are details from Nick Kaczur's contract extension, which extends through 2012: The base salaries are as follows: 2009: $2 million 2010: $2.7 million 2011: $3.4 million 2012: $4.1 million The deal includes an option bonus of $3.5 million. It is not known when the option bonus is due, but there is a clause in the contract that says if the option is not exercised, Kaczur's base salary would jump to $2.72 million in 2009. That seems to mean that Kaczur's option bonus is due at some point this year. Kaczur also has workout bonuses of $100,000 in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
  3. I love South Park and I've seen shows where they rip on liberals (like Rob Reiner) and have found some to be really funny. What I find amusing about all of this is that they seem to have a rather inflated view of the importance of their show. They ripped on Family Guy and I don't think Seth McFarlane is going to tell you his show is important to anyone except those employed by it. JMO
  4. There's a difference between good vocal and bad vocal. I wasn't there so I don't know but it sounds like the scout believes it's bad vocal.
  5. What good is a franchise QB if he's sitting on the bench injured? Get him some health insurance first. JMO
  6. Dockery was the most sought after FA G that offseason. The fact that he didn't work out isn't a sign they aren't trying or cheap. His contract was huge. I think that's on the fourth not the third.
  7. IMO, he'd be a good one year stopgap/coach but I don't think the Bills do anything for a QB except in the draft.
  8. If a guy runs a 4.25 forty and the guy covering him runs a 4.5 forty the difference is .5 seconds after an 80 yard straight line.
  9. This is from the 2010 important dates pinned thread; Feb. 25 – Deadline for clubs to designate franchise and transition players. March 4 — Deadline for submission of qualifying offers by clubs to their restricted free agents whose contracts have expired and to whom they desire to retain a right of first refusal/compensation. March 4 — Deadline for clubs to submit offer of minimum salary to retain exclusive negotiating rights to their players with fewer than three seasons of free agency credit whose contracts have expired. March 5 – Start of capped or uncapped 2010 NFL season. So I guess they have til tomorrow for that.
  10. I think the deadline for tenders has passed. Let me look for it.
  11. All you need to see his college production on the field. Forty times are for Al Davis and the other poor drafters. Exactly! Exactly! Forty times Schmorty times. If Mays runs a 4.34 forty in a straight line big deal. How does he cut? What are his ball skills? How much field awareness does he have? Is he football smart? Does he work hard? Does he get along with teammates? To me, the answers to those questions far outweigh any forty times.
  12. Well, it looks like, hopefully, he won't be a Bill. I think people take things too literally when Buddy says that college production is all that matters. Things like, weight, attitude and health that are gathered at the combine matter. I believe he's said that the interviews are important. What I believe he means about the combine is that if a guy has a slow forty or looks bad in other drills it won't affect his opinion if the guy is a stud on film. JMO IIRC, this was the John Butler and Bill Polian method.
  13. Maybe I'll take it up with Samuel Clemens instead. Jackass!!
  14. This is the site of the original information. It will keep updates on who signs with who.
  15. He should find out what happens next and then decide whether to move or not. Sometimes you jump out of the frying pan and into the fire. Hopefully this guy will have to sell his house in order to pay his lawyer.
  16. I can't find anything that says Kaczur is a FA.
  17. I don't know if Incognito stays. I think the Bills would have offered him a deal by now if they wanted him to stay. I'd love to see him stay but he might not fit Chansaw's vision for the team. JMO
  18. I think it's a very important part of 20th Century American history. It was one of the biggest trials of the century. His story makes a huge statement about the 90's, JMO. I think the Smithsonian should have taken it.
  19. Well, I assumed that at least a couple of FA's would be brought in and it looks like they will. I just hope they don't get guys they have to give up picks for. OT but this intrigues me; For a team like the Bills making over your roster through free agency is going to be easier said than done when the anticipated uncapped rules take effect on Friday. Over 200 players in the league that were to be unrestricted free agents, will instead be restricted. With the majority of those restricted players likely to be tendered, signing those players to offer sheets comes at the expense of compensation. That's 200 guys who are pissed no new CBA has been worked out yet. I think the NFL was banking on that putting a lot of pressure on the union.
  20. I'm disappointed in you. I was sure you could do better. Anyhoo, Who doesn't like Jessica Alba!! Nutha Nutha Nutha Nutha Nutha Nutha Last one
  21. Here's something like what I'm talking about; 4. Lack of speed kills Several scouts believe that USC safety Taylor Mays is more of a weakside linebacker than a true free safety. The scouts are concerned about his closing speed while working the secondary’s center field. It is the main reason why Mays has dropped out of the top 10 on every team’s draft boards. On the flip side, everyone is going gaga over Maryland offensive tackle Bruce Campbell, who officially ran a 4.85 40-yard dash and benched 215 pounds 34 times. He is a freak at 6-6, 314 pounds, but he wasn’t even first-team all-conference. Sure, coaches can teach a player how to block, but a guy’s playing history is more important than Campbell’s combine numbers. He reminds me of Mike Schad, a guy who also looked great in shorts that the Rams picked in 1986 with the 23rd overall pick. He busted out as a tackle.
