Bills Tender Keith Freaking Ellison
Steely Dan replied to Rzon604's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The 18 posts means, as a newbie, you should be more respectful when joining the conversations. So no it's not a personal attack as much as a good point. I'm gonna let that one go. I'm in a charitable mood. -
His columns really ripped Buffalo Bills apart. He also complained about how difficult and grueling it was to cover the Olympics.

Pierre-Paul 6-6 and 260 pounds, DL
Steely Dan replied to erynthered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think this was about drafting him just his athletic prowess. I hope he's a top eight pick because somebody good will fall to us then. Look for Al Davis to grab this guy. -
Those guys don't do their homework. JB is a one year starter and BN said he likes to avoid them. JMO

I think the difference is attitude and on field discipline. IIRC, that's why the Rams cut Incognito. Chansaw demands discipline on the field and may feel Incognito can't ever have it or doesn't fit his image of team chemistry. JMO -

I'm not sure Incognito has the discipline Chansaw wants. What he said. 6'0" 229? There's a reason the Rams cut him. -
I was going to put Williams first and Ducasse second but the mags I have right now seem to think he'll be there in the second round. From his bio I think he may be gone before then too. If they took him in the first round it wouldn't bother me at all. I think the Bills need to come away with two NT and two OT prospects from this draft. If the Bills do take Williams there this board will light up with the "reach" yells of people who think a reach is taking a player a few spots too high even if that player won't be around on the second pick because they assume there is always a partner willing to trade down.

Best place to catch FA news tonight?
Steely Dan replied to 95altima12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Over the past four years the Buffalo Bills have been among the first teams to leap into the free agent pool to procure talent for their roster and fill positional needs on their team. Under the new regime, led by general manager Buddy Nix, however, it seems more likely that the Bills will take a more moderate approach to the market as it opens midnight tonight (March 5th). From 2006-2009 Buffalo signed at least one unrestricted free agent on the first day of the signing period. In 2006 there were two. The following year there were three. Kawika Mitchell was signed on day one of free agency in 2008 and Ryan Fitzpatrick was signed the day the market opened last offseason. Most of those early free agent signings also had sizable long term contracts. It’s hard to see that being the case again with Buffalo’s new personnel management. “Free agency to me should be middle-priced to below-priced guys, not the high-dollar guy that is going bring a big bang when you sign him,” said Nix. That's like finding underwear wrapped under the Christmas tree. -
I hope she doesn't read this board. I actually dated a Wiccan many moons ago. Absolutely a in bed. (That's all true)

I just thought this would be a good idea since a lot of people like to post mocks. With one thread people can still post mocks and get others opinions without starting a new thread. Just an idea. Here's mine keeping in mind my definition of a reach is taking a guy who will still be there with your next pick; (extra picks are from JP and Ko Simpson trades) Players and the places they will be taken are still in flux this early so rounds are approx. (Based on PFW draft guide and Lindy's PFD) Round #1: Bryan Buluga OT Iowa 6'6" 312 (praying he'll be there ) Round #2: Dan Williams DT Tennessee 6'2" 329 Round #3: Dan LeFevour QB Central Michigan 6'3" 238 Round #4: Darryl Sharpton ILB Miami (Fla) 6'0" 229 Round #5: Linval Joseph DT East Carolina 6'6" 322 Round #6a: Chris Marinelli OT Stanford 6'7" 300 Round #6 b: Verran Tucker WR California 6'1" 200 Round 7a: Arlic Arnett WR West Virginia 6'2" 183 Round 7b: Boris Lee ILB Troy 6'0" 238

Exactly, he showed a lot of improvement as his year went on too. I'm glad they tendered him. It looks Incognito is gonna be allowed to walk. -
Browns release versatile offensive lineman Fraley Associated Press Experience:10 seasons Height: 6-3 Weight: 310 Starts/Games: 123/135 Age: 32 CLEVELAND -- Hank Fraley was happy to fill in anywhere the Cleveland Browns needed him. Center, guard, even tight end. He went wherever. On Wednesday, he was told the Browns no longer had a spot for him. Hank Fraley, C A 10-year veteran, the versatile Fraley, who bailed the Browns out when LeCharles Bentley was injured in 2006, was released by Cleveland two weeks before he was due a roster bonus. The move was made in preparation for free agency, where the Browns have been among the NFL's most active teams in recent years. ________________________________________ But last season, he lost his starting job to rookie Alex Mack, the Browns' first-round draft pick. Instead of grumbling about being replaced, Fraley helped mentor Mack, who had a solid first season. Fraley also made four starts at guard and lined up in some packages at tight end. I think this guy could offer some serious depth for Buffalo. They should at least look at him, JMO.

Angelo Crowell is a FA. He has no stats for 2009, does anyone know why? I thought his injury was better. http://www.nfl.com/players/crowellangelo/p...le?id=CRO732110 -

What the hell is up with these earthquakes?

Is he angry or happy when he tells you that? If he truly believes he will be swiped up in the rapture he should be ecstatic!! Somehow I doubt he is. -
Can they draft Taylor Swift instead? http://cdn.mademan.com/chickipedia/images/...humb_1280x0.jpg

(CNN) -- A magnitude 6.4 earthquake rattled southern Taiwan on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no immediate reports of damage, injuries or deaths. The quake struck at about 8:20 a.m. (7:20 p.m. Wednesday ET) in a mountainous region about 25 miles northwest of Taitung, on the southeast coast, and 40 miles east of Tainan and Kaohsiung on the southwest coast. The region includes Taiwan's Maolin National Scenic Area. The quake was followed by several aftershocks, the largest reaching a 4.8 magnitude. The initial 6.4 quake rumbled to the surface from 14 miles deep. The Taiwan Ministry of Interior and the National Fire Agency said electricity was cut off near the epicenter but had no further information. The earth is being ripped apart. This many earthquakes in such a short time seems weird to me.

IIRC, the first time it didn't work and they changed the way they did it and then called it plausible. Also, I believe they spoke to someone who works in a rail yard and he confirmed that some people have died from peeing on the third rail.
