  1. The NYS Supreme Court is not the highest court in the state? What is?
  2. Exactly. That is why Buffalo needs the Bills the most! It has got to the one NFL with the most fans that moved out of the home area. Given the economic mess in the area, this can't be that hard to believe?
  3. "ring and runs" ? You must mean: "ding dong dash" ?
  4. Totally agree. The ultimate "screw" would be what they did to the NBA Braves (which had good attendance).: 25 or so years ago: Stern (at that time NBA attorny) brokered the Braves move west? That would be like, Kraft wanting to move "the beloved" NFL darlings, the Patriots, to the west coast. He'll swap ownership with RW and then take the Bills west! That is basically what happened between the Braves and the Celtics! LA Clippers=San Diego Clippers=Buffalo Braves, right? How many Clipper fans do know?
  5. Ya, God that would suck if you had to go to the doctor to have it inserted! I don't think it is one of those kind. It appears to be an external device. ??
  6. I just noticed my post. Deed. My whole post should have been proofed. That was one awful piece of writing!
  7. Don't get me, I agee with BuffaloBob. The lady did go over board. Something just isn't right here? Why 10:30 at night? Haven't they ever heard about the "10-10 Rule". That is, don't bother people in person or by phone after 10 PM or before 10 AM. Be well meaning kids, I guess they missed that leason? Who really knows what their real intent was? Can you mess with somebody even while appearing to a good dead? Maybe I am cynical?
  8. I agree to some point. In the worst case scenario is that you get ZERO in return in each situation. Where did the money go that you put in? The money that you lost? Under the current system, it goes to finance others, older people in the system? Just as in a "Ponzi scheme", the early ones in benefit. Who are those early ones? Now under the privatization plan, the worst case scenario is that you lose the money that you put in the market, it evaporates away? Somebody always has the ability to gain on your loss? Who is that? Which is better? Can somebody explain or tell me why my thoughts or misgivings are faulty? Is it that some are so bitter at the government for mismanaging the money (expanding what SS was originally intended for, using the funds for other purposes, etc...), that they would rather see (worst case scenario) the money "evaporate" within the market before they give it to the earlier ones under the current system? Does it boil down to the question: "I lost but, at least I controlled my fate, I have nobody else to blame?" There will always be losers, who will be the ones that make money off the losers? Look at how much money was lost after an act like 911? Is there a way to secure it against such fluctuation? ?
  9. Oh my! Ya... Like the straps are gonna stay up and around?
  10. Why are they screwed? If I was a talented European player, now they can still play the game they love in their home area. Sure money isn't as great. Just the excuse to do the thing they really love without the "love of money" getting in the way. Kind of ironic if it was a "strike" but, it is not, it is a "lockout." People forget that hockey is an international sport that can be played in other countries and still give you a decent living. North American hockey needs an overhaul anyway!
  11. Don't worry, You aren't losing your mind!
  12. Cool! I noticed that after I posted, Thanks! When I first opened the link from page 1, I went right to history and couldn't find the bottlecap story. I bet it would have helped if I would have just looked through the site first! I still remember going to the Brave's games and sitting in the "Oranges". We would get free tickets from the back of Dairylee milk cartons. I think that was my first time getting vertigo!
  13. Huh? What are you, Rex, the male border collie in the movie Babe?
  14. Cool! What is with the striking resembalance to the "Pepsi Cap" in the 60's logo? I notice StuckInCincy has it for his avatar. Is there any connection to Pepsi? ???
  15. That begs the question to be asked: POST THE TAPE!
  16. Not really weird. Take any 26 RANDOM people and the probability is ALMOST 1 that 2 people in that sample will have the same day/month birthday. Just think, mine is just one day off your guy's birthday!
  17. It is legal? What is wrong with that? I think some of the Red Sox players admitted to doing a shot of "Jack" before games as a "tradition" when they started to come back against the Yankees. I suppose that gave Milar, Damon, and some other guys a lift? I don't think it is a big deal if it is legal? Can't anything be considered performance enhancing? ???
  18. "To prohibit with girls to strong chest." So that means: NOT for the girls with "strong" chest? Prohibit/proscribe is to forbid right? I take "strong" as big, robust? He does add an emodicon wink ( )after it? Anyway you look at it, I guess you wouldn't want big ones to pull this stunt off?
  19. Thanks HD! That is truly awesome! Now if I am correctly translating the French text is it?: "Not for the big chested girls." ????
  20. It will only make the guy better! He will dedicate the game and win for her?
  21. That has always my gut opinion. I thought he was some exec. assistant? Maybe the mouthpiece from the coach to the owner? Sounds crazy but, like you said, how did he survive? Just from looking from the media guide the last couple of years and noticing almost 20 year or so tenure... I thought WTF?
  22. At first I didn't even think about going into the basket... Then it caught me as she did. Looking at it again and again, I go back to my initial response that she didn't go through. It looks like the hoop/rim is in back of her and she makes the net move with her shoulder, giving the illusion? The camera is at a perfet 90 degrees to the basket? Why doesn't it load and play through mediaplayer? Then you could slow it down? Is there any way to slow it down? Also, her arms? Focus on the rim... Seems the camera is always moving, with it just out of the frame? Was this designed like that? I really think she is IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE BASKET. ???
  23. I heard grizzlys are a whole 'nother beast? I think I nice firearm/weapon is usually the norm as a security measure? I read somewhere where somebody had to beat one off with a hatchet. I think a weapon would be more apt? The "bear bag" idea is a must. Unless you don't like your truck or car, I wouldn't put food in it. Once in the ADK, we witnessed what happened when food was left inside a pickup. The bear went to town with it's claws on the cab of the vehicle. It didn't get the food but, the paint job looked like hell. Only black bears there but, they are pretty smart. One time near Mt. Marcy, the rangers told us to be extra diligent hanging the bag. Tie the knot extra high and have it extended to a few trees (seems they follow the line). We hung it and tied the knot while on somebody's shoulders. That night (while in a lean-to) we heard a noise and glanced our lights out into the woods. Sure enough, there was a bear attempting to claw at the tree and line. Thankfully, it was just high enough out of his reach. A few other hikers down stream weren't as lucky, when we heard them clanking their pots and pans the next morning. In N. Mexico, we had one small brown come right under our dining fly and steal our Pop-Tarts and SwissMiss. He was kind enough to leave us dry granola and give a photo shoot 25 meters away in the scrub bush! Good luck!
