Yeah, I was really disappointed to see that happen to Fitz. He would have made a great member of the team. On the other hand, it looked to me like the kids - the 'feelers' are all done for now, unless there's more of them somewhere. Also, Zach got a good dose of reality during that encounter regarding his mom. Maybe that, along with his apparent bonding with Nora, will help make the character a bit more tolerable.
You can just see it coming with Palmer - he's acting way too haughty with Eichhorst, believing that he's on equal footing with The Master, and I think he's going to push it too far. Once he's done everything that The Master needs from him, I say the guy is toast. And I'm going to love seeing that happen.
My favorite line from the show was 'here, take the truck. If you're hungry, there's 2,000 pounds of frozen shrimp in the back'.
Mr Quinlan is apparently quite the badass - getting away with admonishing the ancients in their own lair? Ballsy.
I've been trying to figure out how Stoneheart knew about Eph, and the only thing I can think of is that military brass that he met with must have squealed - he did mention Stoneheart as a candidate to mass produce Eph & Nora's virus, so he was probably connected to them. Palmer has obviously been working for years to set up this apocalypse, and he's undoubtedly got plants everywhere.
There was a great deal of satisfaction in seeing how disappointed Eichhorst was that he didn't get to become the new vessel for the master. I'm glad that it went to Bolivar because I want Eichhorst to remain exactly as he is- along with Setrakian, he's one of the best characters on the show.
