  1. I think Thad would be the better choice. More upside and looks fine. But I wouldn't be surprised if they go grab someone with more experience when they become available
  2. Ill be there! Bills got a lot to prove, so hopefully they step up.
  3. Not to mention a lot of people were writing off dareus last year as well, and he is having a good year now. Lots of young players on this team still growing.
  4. pretty much what I am thinking. Finally got to see the game. Even though he has had a rough season and it is disheartening to see him regress, I can't write him off. He showed a lot of promise last year, he has played well at times this year, and last year when people were ready to kick Aaron williams off the team, he shows up this year. I think there is enough talent on this team to seriously compete, but they need a lot more experience to go a long with that talent. I honestly think that the only changes talent wise that are really needed is help at MLB when we are in the 3-4, an upgrade at Tight end, and oline help. And I would like to have a more dominant wide receiver, but that might not be an easy find, and might not be necessary if all the rookies improve. The talent is there at other positions, but they need experience. I am not a fan of Hackett, but it is hard to tell if he is part of the problem or if he is a victim of inexperienced players screwing up. I really think a legit tight end would do wonders for this offense. I used to like chandler. He was a big target that caught everything thrown to him. But this season he has dropped quite a few easy catches, and he is making himself expendable.
  5. Depends on the team and depth. From this season, the biggest dropoff we had was when we lost Lawson for a game and we had Hughs take his snaps. Hughs is good for pass rushing, but man did he look like a joke in coverage
  6. Crazy how many people were ready to dump EJ a few weeks ago.... Can't believe people are calling for another 1st round qb already. We don't know where we pick, we don't know who will be available, and we don't know how EJ will finish. If EJ wins 4 or more games, it is a waste to draft a qb in first round. We would prob be picking out of top ten, and best qbs will be gone, and 8-8 is a good start for EJ, so better to address other things. If we lose all of our games, and somehow a really great qb falls to us,, then yeah, go for it. But with so many unknowns, it makes no sense to be all in for drafting a Qb in the first round based on how little we know
  7. Next 3 games are very winnable, despite not being played in buffalo. Miami game is winnable as well. Color me optimistic for next year of they finish 8-8. Next four games are winnable, not a lock though
  8. I don't know. There would be more obstacles the article doesn't say. NFL teams can't be owned by a cooperation. So the rogers family are the real buyers. They still have a lot of money, but the article suggesting the cooperation is the competition is misleading. Toronto would prob need to build a new stadium to get the bills as well, and I am not sure NFL would allow them to buy it. I think it is 50/50 rogers family buys it
  9. They must have some kind of plans for him since he is actually on the 53. They must think he is worth a roster spot to protect him
  10. EJ could get offensive rookie of the year if he plays more like the last game. There isn't much competition for that one. Monte ball I guess. DROY has some competition. Richardson seems to have an edge over Alonso from what people are saying, but it is probably close. I think we have a better shot at OROY to be honest, just because there is no competition for it. It ain't gonna be geno, any of the tackles, or any of the receivers. Unless EJ really sucks it up, he should get It. It will be either him or Monte ball though
  11. Woods probably will. Stevie will move the chains
  12. They can't really go that route. Our DBs are now healthy, we are playing at home, and Kerley is out.... Of course, we are missing our 2 top wideouts. I think it will be a close, low scoring game. probably a very boring one that is all defense.
  13. You mean like trading for Thad Lewis, signing Leonard? They addressed needs when they could. They were a little late with LG and CB but they are always changing this roster. Problem isn't talent. Problem is that is raw talent that needs experience. There also seems to be a coaching problem on offense, but that isn't exactly a sure thing. They seem to address adding players whenever they can though. It isnt like they have done nothing.
  14. Have to agree with both of those. Too bad it doesn't end there with the problems. Defense seems ok overall, but needs improvement. Offense though is a mess from top to bottom.
  15. Offense looked stable in the first game. Not good, but enough to build on. But it has gradually gotten worse. A lot of problems. I would say hacket is the main problem, but the QBs, receivers, and marrone shouldn't get a pass. This offense sucking is a group effort. Qbs making coslty turnovers, receivers dropping balls all over the place, hacket's overall contribution, and marrone for being an offensive minded HC.... Fred Jackson and maybe Eric wood can be forgiven. Rest of them need a wakeup cal
  16. We wouldn't get the first pick even if we lost out the rest of the season. Can't see bucs or jags both winning more than 2 games..... And I'm sure we have at least 1 or 2 wins left in us
  17. 7-9 for me. Jax, Tampa, and atlanta are very winnable games. Prob have a good shot with Miami at home. The Pitt game would be more winnable if it was in buffalo. I think with a healthy EJ we have another 4 wins in us. The worst of the schedule is over
  18. 273 passes vs 265 rushes, and you think the QB is being asked to carry the team? That is one of the most ballanced offenses in the NFL as far as playcalling goes.
  19. Even if he does play, he doesnt mean he will play well. His ribs have got to be killing him. And to make it worse, he is going up against a d that sacks more than anyone. It is almost a guarantee that he is going to get sacked a couple times at least. Saving grace for us is that it is a home game
