  1. Dare I ask... are either of these UNION jobs?
  2. There are SO many homeless dogs of all kinds (including purebreds) in shelters around the country... please look here first! Puppies are great, but don't overlook the older dogs that are already socialized and housebroken and may be homeless because their previous owners moved or died. It's been almost two years to the day that I got my Chow-Newfie mix dog, Koko, from a shelter listed on petfinder.org... and she's been an integral part of my family ever since. Good luck! (Be sure to check out THIS little cutie!!!)
  3. If they moved from Western NY, the answer is an emphatic NO! I would, in all likelihood, stop watching pro football. If I retained any interest at all, I'd probably be a *very* casual Browns fan. (Yeech, I'd never ever buy any Browns gear, though!)
  4. I saw those a couple of weeks ago and have them bookmarked... Very cool indeed!
  5. Holy crap is right! Geez - I never would have predicted I'd be psychic! Good thing he's okay. Anyway, be careful out there ALL you REGGIES!!! P.S. Reggie Jackson was and is one of my all-time favorite athletes. I even named one of my cats after him, back in 1983. (Sadly, Reggie the cat died a couple of years ago.)
  6. You forgot this one: Kelso, save your postage! I do concur with you on some of those points. There are a couple of general beefs I have with Donahoe, namely his arrogance (sprinkled with defensiveness) and his seeming failure to understand or appreciate the Buffalo fans. I'm also not fond of the drastic changes that he spearheaded in altering both the uniforms and the overall character of the team. [The Bills used to have a tough, blue-collar reputation; now I see players huddling on the benches in front of the heaters looking colder than the Dolphins players on the opposing sidelines! They are a far cry from the "Relentless" days.] You can argue that much of this can be attributed to the changing nature of the game as a business - but this is all happening under Donahoe's watch and IMO he takes some of the blame.
  7. The last QB who wore number 7 was the only one since Jim Kelly to have a winning record. Sounds like a keeper to me!
  8. Yeah, let's sign yet another Patsy reject who can't feed his kids Super Bowl rings. READ MY LIPS, Tom Donahoe: "NO NEW EX-PATRIOTS!"
  9. The sad thing is that no one ever used to say that the Buffalo Bills uniforms were ugly. Now they do - and I'm one of them! Yesterday the Bills sent me the J.P. Losman photos I had requested for the March wallpaper. (Kind of late, huh?) There were a few of him in his Tulane uniform, a couple in the red practice jersey, and all the rest were in the road jersey with the white pants (HIDEOUS!!!!)... so I've asked them to send more, preferably in the home jersey. We'll see.
  10. All in all, I like your version much better than the current clown unis we have. One suggestion, though: the logo on the sleeve needs to be going in the same direction as the player is facing. Otherwise, the buffalo looks like it's retreating.
  11. Sorry to revive this old thread - but it hit me like a ton of bricks this morning that it was most likely Ralph Wilson himself that let this story out. Think about it - what frosts Ralph's pumpkin more than insubordination? If you recall, he was always very loyal to Wade Phillips... until he refused Ralph's direct order to fire a coach. (Can't remember who it was.) It was a similar thing with Jerry Butler who, in Ralph's estimation, was betraying him behind his back. Deepthroat is RW.
  12. Glad you got a kick out of that post, Joe! BTW, I thought of you today when I netbooted two entire labs of Macs, 54 in all, and reimaged them simultaneously in [drum roll] less than half an hour. It really is sweet!
  13. It's just not cool or good karma to wish injury on anyone... ... with the possible exception of Osama bin Laden.
  14. "He's in a better place now." People often say that when someone dies, too.
  15. This would be a really good thing for TiVo, I think. Steve Jobs could elevate the company to rock star status! I even saw an article that Michael Ramsey LOVES his Mac!
  16. Just say NO to Monkey Boy!!!
  17. I can't wait to go home and run over my Drew Bledsoe bobblehead with my SUV repeatedly and then rip his little 10¢ head off and throw the remains into the same trash that I put my dog's poop bags and my cat's used litter in and throw the whole disgusting mess out onto the curb! Oh wait, I already did that. [Advanced apologies for the run-on.]
  18. In the midst of all of this, Bud "The Boob" Selig is sitting in a corner somewhere rocking back and forth and drooling on himself while the game of baseball dies.
  19. Wow, very sad. I remember ol' #4 seemed like a giant among punters and could boot the crap out of the ball! This is a bad year for Reggies. Hey, Reggie Jackson, take good care of yourself!
  20. Thanks for clearing that up, CW. Here's the bottom line for me: I buy my music, I don't steal it or share it... and I'm going to play it on whatever dadgum thing I want to play it on!
  21. Good point. And don't imagine for a minute that the executives at GM are going to be paying any awards to Brady out of their own pockets. The cost, as always, will simply be passed on to the consumer.
  22. So, legally, what's the difference between buying a physical CD or the exact same album from iTunes and then ripping it to play on multiple devices?
  23. Yeah, but just wait until he has kids and realizes that he can't feed them Super Bowl rings! [/sarcasm]
