  1. From Wikipedia: "In the event of a tie before there are four contestants remaining, a revote among the non-tied contestants will occur, in which the only candidates for elimination are the tied players. If the revote does not resolve the tie, the tied players are granted immunity and the non-tied players (except anyone who has won individual immunity) are forced to choose rocks out of a bag without looking; the player who chooses the differently colored rock is eliminated. In earlier seasons, the tied players were asked how many votes they had received in the past and whoever had more was eliminated. In Africa, the tied players competed in a nature quiz challenge and whoever lost was eliminated." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor_%28TV_series%29
  2. It already works that way. If there's a tie, they vote again (except for the people in the tie, I believe). If it's a tie again, then there's another vote but you can't vote for those two players. Or something like that...
  3. Apparently classic movies bore you too....
  4. http://www.thestar.com/business/article/991036--massive-boring-machine-big-becky-emerges-from-under-niagara-falls?bn=1
  5. Which makes it funny. Kinda like the movie Dogma.
  6. That's what she said! Oh wait, she did.... Nevermind.
  7. There's aliens, so is automatically higher than Robert Redford standing in a field, talking to horse all movie.
  8. Which makes my point -- there's something worth watching in Alexander.
  9. Or finding a hidden immunity idol or two?
  10. You tell me which movie you want to watch: A teenage girl riding a horse is hit by a truck. To help heal her troubled/injured daughter, and horse, the mother takes them to Montana to recuperate at the ranch of a 'horse whisperer', a horse healer of mystical talents. The mother proceeds to fall in love with him, as well. or: Alexander, the King of Macedonia and one of the greatest military leaders in the history of warfare, conquers much of the known world.. Watch Horse Whisper this weekend, and then let us know what you think. It's mindlessly boring and stupid WITHOUT RD in it.
  11. I did. Horse Whisperer was far worse.
  12. Don't need to. You said "full front sex scene from Rosario Dawson" which automatically makes it nowhere near the worst motion picture of all time.
  13. Horse Whisperer was, by far, the worst movie ever made (that I've seen).
  14. It sounds like you don't actually like the game of Survivor... Why not just put a bunch of people on the island and take the ones who win the most challenges and are the strongest and put them on the finale show? Is BB going to be in HD this year? If not, I probably won't even watch.
  15. Actually, it seems to be pretty rare that this happens... I know you love Russell, but he's one of the only people who wasn't voted to win - and it's because he was a jerk (that, and I still think the girl who won did play him pretty good -- without her, he wouldn't have made it to the finals the first time). As for RI -- I was hoping that the main tribe gets the final two, and the winner of RI gets the third spot in the finals. As it stands now, RI seems a bit lame because the person who comes back from RI gets voted out instantly... Or maybe that's just how this season played out and it won't happen in the future.
  16. I actually did walk out of the doctor's office once. I was in for a physical and they went to draw blood. First attempt, the vial didn't fill up all the way. The nurse apologized and tried again. Same thing happened. She apologized again, said, "This will be the last time, I promise," and jabbed me a 3rd time. Keep in mind that I *HATE* needles... Again, the vial only filled about halfway. "That's weird, let me try something different." As soon as she said that, I stood up and started walking out. She looked shocked and asked what I was doing. I told her, "You said that was the last time, so I'm leaving."
  17. Agreed -- driving in downtown Minneapolis is a nightmare. It can easily take you 30 minutes to go 4 blocks during rush hour. Arden Hills will allow people to tailgate once again too -- which will be awesome, assuming the fans aren't too wimpy at this point. I'm definitely in favor of it.
  18. And AJ is saying, "Oh, so you're one of THOSE patients..."
  19. Heh, when my wife had to have surgery a few years ago, I had to use my power of persuasion on the nurses on that shift to allow me to stay overnight. Normally they kick everyone out at 9pm, but I convinced them to let me stay; they even gave me the door code to some sort of lounge and gave me a pillow and blanket to bring with me.
  20. I hate needles...
  21. Can someone explain why he'd keep Natalie and vote off Grant...? I can't for the life of me figure out why that's a good idea...
  22. No gifts yet -- I told my wife I didn't need anything -- but my team at work did buy me an ice cream cake and ice cream, so that was pretty cool.
  23. Thanks, guys. I'm actually looking forward to tonight. We're going to one of the best seafood restaurants in the Twin Cities, and then we're going to see the Minnesota Orchestra perform 80s music. http://www.minnesotaorchestra.org/season/event_detail.cfm?id_event=1011040 Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
  24. You're making the mistake of comparing every suicide in the US with just the suicides that occur at the plant over there. How many people kill themselves at work in the US? How many people kill themselves after working at the factory in China? I'm guessing the former is much lower and the latter is much higher.
  25. Good to hear -- you'll have that chance again this year! 5-1. 3-0.
