  1. Name another network that screws up SOOO many different shows? Firefly. Family Guy. Now this. In general, I try to avoid watching shows on FOX nowadays. The only one I've made an exception for is Prison Break. FOX doesn't know what the hell they're doing. CW
  2. http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/2005/FRFLY.php Nothing about the TV series there though (that I could find) Good site to see all sorts of numbers on DVD sales and such though. For example, Spiderman did $7M on the first day of DVD sales! And made $338M on DVD sales until July '04! Wow... Of course, it cost $190M to make, so... http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/2002/SPIDR.html CW
  3. Serenity is currently the #20 top-selling DVD at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BW7QW...link%5Fcode=as1 Firefly DVD box set is STILL #13, even after all of these years it's been out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AQS0...&s=dvd&v=glance CW

  5. If Williams was such a blunder, who would YOU have taken with the pick? McKinney? The guy's terrible and has a bad attitude to boot. Trade down? Nobody wanted to trade up because the draft was considered weak (stories said that TD tried to trade down but couldn't find any takers). Trade up for Joey Harrington? Yeah, that would've been great. So who would you take? You can't say a pick was a blunder if there's no other options. Besides, MW (when healthy) has played pretty well and has been nearly dominating in the run blocking arena. CW
  6. That's pretty amzing. Poor kid. CW
  7. Yeah, the icons were small - I didn't realize they scaled with the display. That's kinda dumb, they should stay larger... Oh well, maybe I stick with 1280x1024 (I have a 22" Viewsonic professional monitor ). CW
  8. I must've missed that post (I thought I searched through the whole thing). My mistake.
  9. Why do you get to decide that a "downfield pass" has to travel 40 yards? Personally, I think 30 yarders are deep, downfield passes as well. Your argument loses a lot of steam if you don't narrow it down to only hail mary passes. CW
  10. Ok, now I'm sad that you're an idiot with no reading comprehension. I said that neither Brady and Warner deserve Hall of Fame consideration yet (people were saying Warner was HOF-bound after his first few years with the Rams). Nothing less, nothing more. But you apparantly wanted to take it as a personal insult to Brady. Thus my CW
  11. No, sad that you believe a player deserves to be in the Hall of Fame after only four years.
  12. I just got Civ4 yesterday. Installed and played without a hitch with the resolution at 1280x1024. I think I might go higher next time, just so I can see more of the world at any given time. For me, the jury is still out on this one. It seems more RTS-like, rather than Civ-like. Maybe it'll grow on me, we'll see. That aside, the game has run flawlessly for a few hours without a hint of slowdown on my system. CW
  13. Call me crazy, but I'm not one to annoint someone the best of all time after only four seasons... Same goes for Kurt Warner. CW
  14. I'm not bashing him, I just think it's time for him to hang it up after this year. CW
  15. Hey...Stop Stabbing Me! was actually a really good (low budget) movie. The writers of that movie wrote National Lampoon's Dorm Daze as well (which I havn't seen). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000ADXD...&s=dvd&v=glance It's cheap and highly recommended (just keep in mind it was filmed using a DV camera, not film, and was made with about $50; during the commentary they say something like, "Everyone said Blair Witch Project had no budget. They had over $10,000, and we had $50! Now tell me who had no budget!" ). CW
  16. Whatever you do, don't take Hull or Hasek! CW
  17. Food for thought: They've both won the same number of games this year. CW

  19. No, as I said his decline started last year. He's been throwing bad passes for well over a year. The guy has *13* interceptions this year. Guess who has thrown more INTs this year? Nobody! And the only people close are Culpepper (who was terrible this year) and Aaron Brooks (who was also terrible, save the game against Buffalo). You can't blame all of his woes on the injuries the team has. CW
  20. No, it'd be more about the bad plays he commits, starting last season. Yeah, he's still decent, but his skills have declined so much that it's sad to watch how far he's fallen. CW
  21. Did you watch him play today? TERRIBLE plays all game long, and not all of them were because of good plays by Pittsburgh. Again I bring up the 4th and 4 where he threw instead of ran. On the next 4th down he had, he threw the ball well short and low. The Packers are 1-7, and he's a big part of it. Yes, his receivers have had a rash of injuries, but they weren't all in one week -- Favre has been in decline for some time. CW
  22. When was the last time he had a good game...? Packers should've beaten the Steelers today, but Favre blew it all game long. Just now, he could've easily run for a first down (on 4th and 4); instead he throws a wild pass 30 yards downfield to the endzone, incomplete and pretty much game over. How the mighty have fallen
