  1. Maybe he's just busting on you because he knows your a Buffalo fan?
  2. Pat Williams couldn't beat the Steelers either... The defense couldn't stop a 3rd string offense either, so why are you putting it all on Bledsoe for that game? I also seem to recall a game-winning TD being taken back due to a bone headed play by (I think) Josh Reed, forcing us to settle for a FG instead. All I'm saying is that it's easy to point the finger at one player, and the QB is usually that person who gets pointed at. However, this team had (and has) MUCH bigger holes than the QB. CW
  3. Fine, then maybe Eric Moulds was the real problem -- how many playoff games have we been in with him as a starter?
  4. Slight correction -- he was told he'd be a backup and not have a shot at the starting position, and that's what he was pissed about. He even said that he would be fine competing for the starting position. Would you want a player on your team that was happy to be second string?
  5. With Bledsoe -- 9-7 Without Bledsoe -- 5-11 Who's to say that Bledsoe wasn't the one elevating the team to nearly twice as many wins as we had last year? Maybe given our roster, he WAS elevating the team. Scary thought, no? CW
  6. At least I made it back from my cruise intact
  7. Trying to get him to stop flirting with the poker girls?
  8. You know what I find funny? Anytime someone says something positive about DB, they're told to shutup, he doesn't play for the team, move on, along with some vulgar personal attacks. On the other hand, when someone wants to say something negative about the guy, that's fine. Hypocrites.
  9. Everyone, stop it or you'll distract him from his poker playing!!! Happy BDay CW
  10. I had grilled chicken last night and grilled boneless ribs tonight (yeah, I found that strange too but they were REALLY good - no bones, no grissle = good eats!). Not sure what we're having tomorrow. I love grilled pineapple, but that's about it for vegetibles. CW
  11. I don't watch Letterman, so didn't get the reference, but the video/music was awesome! For the first time ever, I could hear all the lyrics!
  12. Did you even read the links I posted where the guy is now a convicted sex offender, even though he did nothing remotely sexual (or even wrong)? Even the judge said he didn't really do anything wrong. So maybe we shouldn't tar and feather the judge until we actually know what the hell is going on? And based on your repetitive "parent" question, I guess you're implying that parents are idiots and jump to conclusions and that non-parents are a bit more rational? CW
  13. That's exactly what I'm saying, and being a parent has nothing to with it. If the guy really did commit a serious crime then the judge was definately too light. But nobody here knows what the defendant actually did, yet they're already making judgements.
  14. Can you tell me how he sexually abused her? Did he simply grab her arm after she jumped in front of his car? Or was it a real offense? Nobody knows, not based on that article.
  15. That's why you should always have more than one copy of all of your data
  16. Again, do you know the situation of the case? If so, please post the link.
  17. Maybe next time you could do some research instead of simply dismissing/insulting my post? http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll...34/1035/OPINION Yeah, and drinking a beer is often a precursor to driving drunk... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,190586,00.html http://www.dvorak.org/blog/?p=2283 http://www.pervscan.com/2005/07/06/he-grab...a-sex-offender/ So no, it's not an urban legend, thanks. CW
  18. This list is bogus. Windows ME in the top 5? Please, it's not even the worst Microsoft OS -- Microsoft Bob, anyone? ( http://www.bentuser.com/article.aspx?ID=327 ) The Iomega Zip drive a bad producti? Give me a break - they were perfect for the time. Yeah, there were some failures, but as the article says - they sold 10s of millions iof them, and for most people, they worked fine. We had them at the U of Minnesota, and never had a complaint. And how can you say the iSmell is one of the worst tech products when it never made it past the prototype stage?! In that case, wouldn't the cloaking device be rated much higher? ( http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/05/25/invisib...k.ap/index.html ) Oh well, it was an amusing read, just not accurate at all CW
  19. I don't know, a year or so ago maybe. It was posted on here. The girl darted in front of this guy's car and he had to swerve to miss her. He got out of the car, grabbed her arm, and started yelling at her. Now he is a registered sex offender because he "restrained a minor." The judge said something like, "I know that's not what the law had in mind when it was written, but my hands are tied and I have to convict you of it," which is bogus. CW
  20. Without knowing the details of the case, you really can't judge. Case in point, the guy who was convicted of sexual assault for grabbing a girl's arm after she jumped out in front of his car and was nearly hit. CW
  21. Minnesota just got a team two seasons ago, and I was first in line to get season tickets (ok, technically I'm #69, but you get the point). The game is cheap ($25/seat - and I'm 10 rows above the glass, center of the field, penalty box side). It's an awesome sport. BTW -- Minnesota played the Lumberjack song when Portland came to town last season.
  22. So we can blame you for having to cut Moorman?
  23. Have I ever implied otherwise?
  24. Hey all, Just wanted to say ALOHA to everyone - I got back Sunday night and was back to work Monday morning. Wish I could've taken an extra day or two off, but I'm already at -18 hours of vacation and didn't want to go any lower. The trip was great -- I'll post pictures later. Took a couple of helicopter tours (one on the Big Island, the other on Maui), a submarine trip (133 feet below the water!), hiked through Volcano National Park, saw lava pouring into the ocean and making a ton of steam at night (with a full moon), and more. Overall, it was a great trip! Glad to be back though, as I was starting to get homesick. Plus, I went two whole weeks without internet access for the first time since the mid 1980s! CW
