I have a' 99 Camry, and it runs fine. Toyota sent out a letter a few years ago addressing this, and they said if you ever run into a problem with the sludge, they'll replace the engine for you free of charge for the life of the car (as long as you change the oil like you're supposed to). I think this is the case of people over-reacting. CW

Wouldn't it be nice if the refs said, "Screw that," and started calling every ticky-tack penalty they could against Carolina? It'd be the first time EVER that a Buffalo team got the breaks. Boy, that would be awesome... I don't see it happening, but I can dream... CW

To be fair, only one of the post-game announcers seemed to be an idiot. The other ones seemed pretty fair and balanced.

Best quote of the postgame announcers: "I think the Buffalo Sabres are fortunate that Dougie Weight took that penalty in the overtime period and that allowed the offensive men for Buffalo to get on the ice and end the game." What an... interesting... way to look at it. Does that mean the Hurricanes were lucky every time we took a penalty?

Although I havn't seen Edmonton play in this postseason, I wouldn't say that Roloson is better than Ward. Roly is good, but definately beatable IMHO. First thing's first though, gotta get another one past Ward! GO SABRES!

Does it have anything to do with the lack of healthy defensemen (ie: They keep a forward or two back for extra defense)? I don't know, since I missed most of the playoffs while on vacation. We HAVE to win this one... LET'S GO BUFFALO!

1-1 with 3:51 left. Did anyone doubt that would happen? Buffalo was playing defensive the entire 3rd period. They weren't attacking at all like earlier in the game. Next goal probably wins. GO BUFFALO!

Teppo has only played a little over 4 minutes in the game. Janek hasn't played in awhile, and has only played about 7 minutes in the game. We get taken down again, no penalty. EDIT: Janek is playing right now; made Carolina look really good. CW

It appears we're down to only 4 defensemen for the game... *sigh* I think the guys are getting worn out. I hope they can pull it off!

Speaking of which...

Definately have been outplayhing them, aside from the last few minutes of the game where Carolina has been taking it to us.. Miller's been doing well (although he scares me everytime he touches the puck - puck handling doesn't seem to be a strong suit...). CW

I think I said the same thing on page 1 I only watched the play a couple of times, but I wasn't even sure if the stick him him (and still am not 100% sure). I hope they can keep it up -- score should be much higher than it is, but it's only one goal. Chances are Buffalo won't get a shutout, so we'll need some more goals. CW
