  1. Thought someone else might find this useful. I'm going to try watching it in my basement tonight Go Sabres!
  2. Unlike most here, I didn't make enemies with him. Whenever I saw him, I crossed the street, just in case Getting ready to board the cruise ship in a few hours. CW
  3. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...ex.html?cnn=yes "10. Bills GM Marv Levy said that the team focused on drafting intelligent players. Indeed, the Bills now have a roster that can quickly and accurately calculate its margin of defeat."
  4. Little bit of both - have some tours (including a submarine tour to look at some downed WW-II planes, and a couple of helicoptor tours), but have some time to justh ang out and wander ourselves (especially on Honalulu, where we're there from around 6am until 11pm). Time to go to a Cinqo de Mayo celebration now! (Yes, it's a day late, but I don't make the rules). Dan: Actually, according to the paper, the weather's nicer in Minny than it is here. CW
  5. That's not until tomorrow, BiB. Today I'm just in San Diego enjoying the weather (although they lie about it always being sunny in CA; we've had only a few hours of sun the whole trip!). Thanks all CW
  6. You do realize that Brushback is a satire newspaper, right?
  7. We're spending a day on each island (two on the Big Island - one on each side). No time for a Sabres game, unfortunately, as it's definately a whirlwind tour of the palce.
  8. Hey all, I'm in San Diego and just got back from the zoo. Posted some pictures on my website - feel free to take a look: http://www.fezam.com/gallery/view_album.ph...ame=SanDiegoZoo There's a couple of panda pictures in there as well: http://www.fezam.com/gallery/view_photo.ph...goZoo&id=panda1 http://www.fezam.com/gallery/view_photo.ph...goZoo&id=panda2 Not that I know anyone who likes pandas or anything... I also HIGHLY recommend visiting the Midway aircraft carrier. They turned it into a museum a few years ago, and it's REALLY cool - a nice glimpse into the life of the ship and the people on it. I'll have pictures of that up later, but for now visit the official page: http://www.midway.org We'll be in San Diego for a few more days, and then it's off on a cruise ship to Hawaii! Since I refuse to pay 70 cents/minute for internet access, I'll be offline for a couple of weeks. Enjoy the photos! CW
  9. Everyone's ignoring the biggest change -- Han shoots first!
  10. Oh welll, we didn't get either of them... Denver got the center, St. Louis got the guard. CW
  11. If you have DirecTV and live in an "Owned and Operated" area, you can get NYC or LA network feeds. For example, in Minneapolis, the CBS and FOX networks are both owned by the network (ie: they're not an affiliate). Therefore, I can get CBS and FOX from NYC, because the advertising revenue from the local network goes to the main company, same as NYC. If I wasn't very clear, you can read more here (as an example): http://www.directv.com/see/landing/cbs_hd.html CW
  12. That's beyond a stretch. Comparing my local NBC with your local NBC? Hey, do you get CBS or FOX from NYC, in addition to your regular locals, like I do with DirecTV?
  13. "The Packers traded up to No. 20 to grab WR Javon Walker. There is no doubt that Walker has tremendous potential and the Packers needed a wideout, but they could have stayed at No. 28 and selected Jabar Gaffney, Josh Reed, or Antonio Bryant."
  14. I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if they keep him for his special teams abilities. Maybe a longshot, but I wouldn't be surprised. CW
  15. They're showing the Stars/Avs game here in Minnesota, probably because they figured Wild fans would prefer a western conference game. It sucks, the Philly/Sabres series is the best one going right now, and I was REALLY looking forward to seeing the game in my theater in HD. To make matters worse, CBS and Fox both gave me waivers to be able to watch the NYC feeds, but NBC and ABC were jerks and wouldn't give it to me. Oh well... CW
  16. Both guys are OL from the U of Minnesota. Eslinger is a center, Setterstrom is a guard. They both paved the way for Maroney - a first round pick of the Patriots - and were excellent linemen for the Gophers. I'm surprised neither has been picked yet. It's not like the Gophers weren't playing against good competition, being in the Big 10. Heck, they've played against half of our secondary from Ohio State. CW
  17. I've *ALWAYS* said that we need to improve the OL. This isn't new. CW
  18. If signing Anderson drops you from a 3rd to one of the last 7ths, then as I said, the system is broken.
  19. It's true that Wire, Vincent, and Milloy havn't helped protect our QBs at all...
  20. This whole compensatory pick thing is just getting ridiculous. Buffalo loses Jennings and Washington, and we get a 7th rounder? Who the hell did Baltimore lose to get a 4th, 5th, two 6ths. Heck, even NE gets two 6ths. God, the JEts got a free 3rd! The whole thing seems to be a sham, and has been for years. If you can't actually tell people how the system works, then the system is broken. CW
  21. Awesome, thanks for the trip down memory lane. Looks like we came blame FRIGGIN LONNIE for the death of the Entertech guns too! "Anyway, the true "nail in the coffin" for Entertech wasn't because some kids got shot by cops... it was because of Lonnie Johnson's creation of "Super Soakers" (originally named "Power Drenchers"). " CW
  22. Remember when squirt guns used to really look like guns? Now they look like some alien contraptions. I had one, I don't remember the brand, but it looked just like a pistol and it took batteries so when you pulled the trigger, it started squirting (semi-auto). It was pretty cool (until the trigger broke...). CW
