  1. I grabbed a copy of the picture before CNN removes it - it's currently on their front page: http://www.fezam.com/newt1.2054.red.ap.jpg There's no way that the guy wasn't Photoshopped into the picture. No way at all. I remember a newspaper/magazine getting in trouble for making a composite of a couple of pictures (from the same area) into one; everyone was up in arms, saying that the media shouldn't be creating pictures, they should just report on what's happening. Anyone think this picture has been edited? CW
  2. I'm sorry for your losses. Losing a member of the family isn't easy
  3. If that were the case, the board would have about 12 post a day, and that's it.
  4. I didn't call him a jerk, I was just speaking hypothetically. And I made the post before he changed his title. He changed it, so no harm no foul. CW
  5. No Wild in Minnesota either
  6. There was a reason I didn't post at all in the mega-soccer thread. My mom taught me that if I had nothing good to say....
  7. They must've put the article back when they realized that at least 10 people tried clicking on it.
  8. What if LevysEraII was a jerk? How would that affect the website in general? Would anyone care? I'm not saying he is a jerk, it's just a hypothetical question. CW
  9. Ummm... The link says: I guess that answers the soccer question!
  10. Wow, who knew that a potential 50TB disk could cause such a thread... Some may be interested in the thread over at /. http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/07/11/209229
  11. D'oh, that's what I get for rushing the post. Thanks!

  13. I was going to join, but I can't fund my account via credit card... So unless you guys decide to play at Paradise, I'm out. CW
  14. When we pushed back and forced the other guy's insurance company to pay the damages (with the help of our insurance company pushing them), our rates didn't go up at all and we still have our "safe driver" discount. So I don't know, but things worked out well in our case. CW
  15. I don't know all of the ins and outs, but let's just say I've talked to numerous people who have been in accidents that weren't there fault, yet their insurance rates went up because of them. CW
  16. Glad she's ok! Be glad you don't live in Minnesota, which is considered a "No-fault" state. Yes, someone can smash you from behind, cut in front of you to cause an accident, or any other number of things, and fault is broken down to 50/50. And you have to pay EXTRA money to the insurance companies for that lovely "feature." That's one of the benefits to living in Wisconsin, but doing 99% of my driving in Minnesota. My wife was rear-ended three years ago and when the other company brought up no-fault, I told them that I didn't live in a no-fault state. They ended up paying the entire value of the totalled car -- although it sucked because we had to buy a new one (I don't like used cars...). Again, glad she's ok. CW
  17. That's your problem -- I'm doing it to help fellow Bills fans. It's about sharing games with fellow fans, not about making a buck off of 'em. Heck, if you sent me all of the games you're "selling," I'd put them on my list for $2/each with the rest of 'em. CW
  18. It was better than the original post.
  19. Why? Matt Birk plays in Miami?
  20. With the new system, they won't be mistakes anymore!

  22. You should talk to some Vikings fans - I think they may disagree with you.
  23. Fair question. The reason is that there isn't a real Thai place within 30 miles of where I live, and I'm not going to drive 60 miles for dinner (especially not with gas prices). CW
  24. There's a couple of Thai restaurants that I really like -- they're not chains, and they're run by people from Thailand, so I *think* it's authentic. Not sure though. The chain Thai restaurants are ok, but nowhere near as good IMHO. A vague answer, I know... HopsGuy: I saw the Rachel Ray one, but again -- I don't know if it's any good or not. Was hoping to find someone who has tried a good one, or has their own recipe CW
  25. Yeah, I want from scratch. I tried one of the box ones a few months ago (not sure what brand) and wasn't impressed at all. So I figured I'd try to make it myself (even though I've never made anything more difficult than scrambled eggs before... So I'm probably setting myself up for failure! ). If you think the "Thai Kitchen" brand is good, I might try it. CW
