Like I said, this is actually a GOOD thing -- sounds like "PC people" didn't really clean everything up. If the system worked, then the next day you had corrupted files, to me that sounds like some portion of the infection was still running rampant and that's why your files were destroyed. The only way to know your computer has everything running the way it's supposed to is by reinstalling the OS.

I'm going to rain on the parade. It may LOOK like everything's gone - but you have no guarantee that there isn't a keystroke logger, a botnet, etc, still lurking either dormant or undetected. There's no way I would trust a previously compromoised machine with anything, and most other forlks in IT say the same thing. I would HIGHLY recommend backing up your important files (pictures, music, etc) and then reinstalling your operating system. It's the only way to be sure. Plus - start using Firefox as your web browser. (http://www.mozilla.org). IE sucks.

If any program you try to execute gives the error, how did you load your web browser....? Reinstall your OS - it's the only way to be sure. (/waits for the dissenters to speak against this ).

How can you say that Rob lost his edge? He masterminded a fool-proof way to get Russel out of the game... Tyson was a moron and that's the ONLY reason Russel didn't go home. I haven't seen Thursday's episode, but Rob completely outplayed Russel the previous week.

Russel is a moron -- he's lucky he wasn't voted out the week of his little "plot." Tyson is a moron too -- Rob told everyone the plan to avoid any of them from going home, but Tyson got greedy. Rob even spelled out what would happen if they didn't vote the way they needed to vote. And Russel didn't get screwed last season -- the whole game is to "vote everyone out, but in such a way that they still like you at the end." He still doesn't understand that part of the game, and apparently you don't either with that comment... He's also at a major advantage this season since nobody else had a chance to watch him play his season, since it didn't air until after this season was already over with. Not really fair, IMHO.

Beachhead 1 was awesome. Didn't know they made a sequel... And Impossible Mission was also great - I never won it either, it was tough! Thanks for the comments, guys. Apparently I did better than I thought -- the zombie model posted one of the pictures on her site, and some of the comments there have been very flattering. Another model actually made this post: "How can I be involved in this...or other upcoming projects?" And then the zombie model said this in response to me saying I was nervous about the shoot: "you had no reason to be nervous!! Ive never seen a photographer pull stuff like this out in less than 15 mins! wtg!" Pretty high praise from a professional. Time to ditch the IT job and go into the low paying job of photography.

I've been interested in photography for many years, and just recently signed up for a "photography bootcamp." It's been every week for 3-6 hours. It's been pretty awesome learning the ins and outs of photography. Today was the day I had to do my own photo shoot, and the instructor would simply be my assistant, moving lights and such. I had to pick a topic, so I picked "zombies," because who doesn't like a good zombie story? We brought in a very good make-up artist for the model, and since the second model bailed, she helped me out by being in the shoot as well (she's the one with the baseball bat). I haven't done much editing on these yet (still debating what white balance I like -- slight blue tinge? Or more natural?), and some of the shots need a bit more work - but it's the rough draft (literally done 45 minutes of editing, that's it). No, the point is that 1/3 of the votes come from players in the NFL, and the other 1/3 of votes come from coaches. If you're going to play the "Cross and Banks used to be great players," then how can you say Peters sucks? By doing so, you're implying that the Eagles organization didn't look at any game film on him before trading. You're assuming that all of the coaches just acted like fans and randomly picked him in. You're deciding that all of the players don't care who gets into the Pro Bown, and they just pick the guys who have been there before.
