He worked his way from the bottom up. Played every hole in the wall, moved to LA, became a studio musician, and then hit the big time. He and Jim Webb were quite the team. And, he never learned to read music. RIP LaBeouf.
Schwabl's was my first stop in 1973 - West Seneca was still a farm town - great food - superior beef
Bailo's was OK - massive amount of lesser quality beef - great for a hungry college student
Local neighborhood place - Slomba's - Leroy & Fillmore (walked there when you didn't own a car)
That little bar with a 80 sq ft kitchen - turned out fanatasic bar grub
Used to watch the Sabres there (they had cable) and underage Canisius co-eds came in all the time
Just had DTV installed through Costco (new customer)
First year = $55 per month + Free NFL Ticket
2nd Year - $90 per month and $100 for NFL ticket
I just cut my COX Cable bill in half (and told them bye-bye)
Oh - A $120 cash card from Costco
Pretty much - Win - Win
Customer Service Probelms - DTV was very quick about our start up problems
Official reason ? Too Close to Lancaster High School
Anyone who knew that area in the early 70's - would have been impressed by the highest structure visible - a water tower
And the jail was (and still is) down the road
Remember the name ? Ed Cotrell ?

City or County Politics - did it matter ?
I wonder who owned the shale quarry where the stadium was finally built ?
Bill Engvall - top notch - seen him live (and up close) - Blue Collar Comedy Tour - all their stuff is PG-19
Jeff Dunhan - you've seen him on TV - but even better live - come to Del Mar 06/23
Robin Williams - eeek - NSFW
Meet The Buffalo Crew in Santa Monica - Warming Up at 4 PM - Bills Fans Own the Back Bar
3110 Santa Monica Blvd
They still don't have the wings down "Buffalo" style - but there is a learning curve

Oh, fine - they "made" the smallest profit - they still were not happy
BTW - sports books contribute little to a casino's bottom line in the end run
Sounds like a government dodge -
I didn't get a 6% increase this year - only a 2% - ipso facto 'I got cut'
And every year - I run a syndicate pool in Vegas to bet just those long odds - I like 40-1 (+)
Kansas City & Seattle both made the palyoffs this year = and Tampa Bay just missed
Buffalo is sitting around 70 - 100 to 1 right now just to win the AFC - injuries always matter
Go to Ticketmaster.com if the Bills support it I use it all the time for other events- only 10% charge and electronic forwarding - no mail hassles
Painless transaction compared to E-Bay & Stub Hub - you just can't sell for less than face value
Are you selling the opener vs. Miami ?
With San Diego missing Vincent Jackson for his 3 game (what happened to the 4 Game suspension), they are an automatic candidate
With LT (blessedly) gone, the Chargers are now River's team and they need to throw (Thank You Don C. )
TO can fill in for one year
As bad as the Lakers are shooting they are still in the game - both teams are so injured & hobbled - it will probably go down to the last minute
BTW - Celtic Green
A little older than most here - but 2 horrors of my youth
Invasion from Mars (1953) - scared the S&*T out of a young-in - catch it if you can - copied many times but still an original
The original "Thing" - James Arness was the monster - still plays well today although the remake wasn't bad
Modern Era - Sigourney Weaver and her tank top in the first "Alien" - still a thriller in the old tradition
