  1. Did he proclaim that the Jags are going to break the NFL single-season sack record?
  2. Joe, looks like you're from WNY. Real estate closings are done MUCH differently here than in other parts of the country. I do think that you're best off getting your own attorney, although $500 seems a bit steep. PM me if you have any questions - I think that I can steer you in the right direction.
  3. ^^^^Does that also apply to people continuously posting about the Bills drafting CBs, and ignoring the DL & OL in the first round?
  4. Posluszny = Football Drury. He's exempt from criticism, apparently.
  5. Johnny Sac? or Ginny?
  6. William James, although I'm not sure if that really qualifies as a "surprise"
  7. What does Brett Favre's playoff performance since 1997 have to do with that of the Bills' QBs? Last I checked, this thread isn't about the pitiful performance of the Bills franchise over the past decade.
  8. Favre won just three of his last 10 playoff games. Eli Manning had more postseason wins in a 29-day span this past season than Favre had in his last decade with the Green Bay Packers. That's not good, no matter how you spin it.
  9. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp...tory?id=3520064 What a baby....
  10. Anyone have any clips? I'd like to see what that offense looks like in game situations. Sounds interesting.
  11. In fairness, Collins did lead the Skins to the playoffs last year.
  12. Looks like Lord Brett's whining and pouting may have won out: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3517219
  13. Moreover, Brett has every right to still play if he wants and they should stop trying to force him into retirement like they did with their "marketing" offer Didn't Favre announce his retirement this past spring of his own volition? I also remember at the end of either 2005 or 2006, he was crying as the clock wound down during the season finale season finale - the implication was that he was calling it quits. If Favre doesn't like the marketing offer, then he should just definitely say that he's not interested. Unfortunately, though, as we've seen time and time again, decisiveness is not one of Favre's strengths.
  14. Also might not matter whether Rodgers or Lord Brett (not the 2005, 2006 or 2007 NFCCG versions, either) is the starter for GB, either....
  15. He's no Michael Westbrook.
  16. If he's playing "for the love of the game", then why would it matter where he's going to play? Most will say that Favre wants to play for a contender, but I really don't know why a contender would feel that Favre will play like he did in 2007 (he was very good, until it counted the most), as opposed to the way he did in 2005 & 2006.
  17. Spot on, Don. I don't see how anyone who looks at this rationally and objectively could reach a different conclusion.
  18. If Favre wants to suit up again because he loves and misses playing the game, then why would he even consider the Packers' 10 yr/ $20M "marketing" deal?
  19. The article also indicates that Peters hasn't responded to any text messages or voicemails left by the Bills. Would it kill him to give someone at the Front Office a call?
  20. Luke Russert was just hired by NBC as a correspondent.
  21. Here's more about the venture: http://www.buffalonews.com/145/story/400912.html Unfortunately... But buying the Buffalo Bills is not an option. The group is open to investments in most sports, but the National Football League is unique among professional leagues in forbidding publicly traded corporations from owning its teams. That means that Bills fans can’t count on Kemp’s company to keep the Bills in Buffalo if owner Ralph Wilson or his heirs should decide to sell. “We would love to buy the Bills. However, the NFL doesn’t permit corporate ownership,” Murstein said by e-mail. “I think one day they will change their rules but not in the short-term.”
  22. Couldn't agree more. Reading these threads, you see the same people whining over and over (and over) - usually about the same f'n thing. As you said, these people invariably say "I love this team, but..."
  23. http://tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=244118&lid...=headlines_main ''I definitely hate the idea of Buffalo coming up here. I really dislike it," said defensive end Jonathan Brown. "I mean, they're stepping on our turf. This is our turf - this is the CFL. They definitely have no business coming up here.''
