  1. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-the-...es-Black-Monday his comments are towards the end. here's Vic and Lombardi's take on it http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/09...-coaching-staff Vic still has very good connections in this organization and he's saying Billick hasn't been contacted either.
  2. Dude...Chambers is a great swing tackle backup...held is own very well while JP was out. I feel comfortable with him. yes he got schooled by Umienyora 2 years ago...but that's nothing to hang ur head over he's one of the best and chambers hadn't played a down all season. Guys...Greer's as good as gone...this franchise is not gonna pay him when they just drafted McKelvin...why do you think they drafted him??
  3. They did a quick thing with Edwards about the concussion and then Berman said the entire story will air on next week's show.
  4. I could not agree more, this is a great point. I really feel like the current coaching staff has their proverbial finger on the pulse of this team better than anything we've had here in some time. They always seem to make the right roster moves, I could definitely see how their "in game" coaching could have been called out, but the preparation has always been top notch.
  5. Wow one sentence that's a record for you isn't it?
  6. McCargo didn't look good against the Rams and hasn't all season, really. It's just too bad that he hasn't come along, luckily Stroud is the second coming and we don't really need him. If he doesn't start to turn it around I say trade him while you can still get some value. But boy I hope he can turn it around.
  7. Anyone who knows anything about football all agree that the O-line is the most important component in any offense, that's why the question was stated as the "Big 3 Skill Position Players". If this O-line doesn't come around and start opening holes for the RB's and giving Edwards the protection he needs it won't matter. I want to know what the consensus is for the fans on Edwards\Evans\Lynch.
  8. I couldn't agree more and that is because he would have been that team's James Lofton. He would have had Andre Reed to do all the "dirty work" over the middle. Which I guess makes my point.
  9. I don't care about numbers...I use my eyes and my gut to decide and overall Lee has disappointed me when teams take away the deep ball. Although his numbers these first 4 games are his best and they are impressive, I worry about his ability to get you those tough first downs when it counts. And I don't have those concerns with the other 2.
  10. Howard Simon had a great topic on GR this morning. He asked "How do we feel about the Bills' 'Big Three' skilled position players? Can they win a Super Bowl with Edwards, Lynch and Evans?" (maybe not this year but at some point in the future) Are we all comfortable with Edwards at the helm? Is Lynch the the kind of back that can carry you to victory in January when you absolutely have to run the ball? Is Lee Evans a bona fide #1 Wide Receiver in this league? I would be very interested to hear what people have to say about these guys. I think at this point Lee Evans would be my biggest question mark out of the "Big Three". (with Lynch a close second only because of this O-line's ability, or lack thereof to run block) Lee is obviously a big play threat but he lacks consistency and tends to disappear in the big moments. Now I love the guy as a teammate and the way he's handled his contract situation this year is the epitome of professionalism. But if they take away that deep ball so goes Lee and that to me is still very unsettling. I thought when the year started and he was all over the field in that Seattle game it would be different, and maybe it will be when Hardy gets fully up to speed, I really hope so. I know he's important to this offense and really want him to get paid but he is a 1A type of receiver, not the beast in all aspects of the game that you would expect from a true #1. Where is he when that big 3rd down reception needs to be made, the ball finds it's way to other guys in those situations (namely Josh Reed). I want to see more consistency out of Evans if this team wants to win the big game in February.
  11. OMG...it's going from bad to worse for AZ. Another INT for Warner. The Bills' D should feast on this O-line!!
  12. I love Brees fantasy wise...this game needs to be a shootout...I hate you guys with the Sunday Ticket...I'm so jealous. Kinda stuck here in Rochester with Jets\Cards. Although I do feel a lot better about the Bills' chances against AZ, they look like the same old AZ to me. I don't see a lot of Fantasy talk on TBD...this is my first year playing and for all football junkies it's really just so addicting.
  13. That's Brian Billick, with Brian Baldinger...i foget the play by play guy's name.
  14. This team has made very good decisions on players...I don't really understand the people that keep questioning the bills' FO moves. Most of the time they are correct, now they're not going to be right 100% of the time but you have to admit they've done very well the last 3 years or so.
  15. Brad, Another great, informative interview. There are a lot of talking heads around here that could learn a lot from your style of sports reporting....and no hockey talk the first few weeks of the football season...gotta love that!
  16. I couldn't agree more...if they're anything like the guys I put up with in Rochester who are actually with the team everyday, these guys really have no idea most of the time what they're talking about. Plus don't they know that J-ville is starting Tutan Reyes for chrissakes?...that's right Tutan is back...Stroud should have a field day. Let's just hope that Turk stays aggressive because we can catch these guys on some big plays now that Greg Williams is coaching that defense (more all out blitzes and less cover-2\rush 4)
  17. Dude...THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I've been wondering where the heck Mike and Mike went and last week I heard "Dope" say they'd been syndicated in Rochester, but I couldn't find them on the dial and didn't look on the internet yet. You are the man for this update.
  18. Pocket awareness is huge and it's obviously one of Trent's best attributes. It's very exciting to finally see a Bills QB with that 6th sense you need in the pocket. Running as a QB is highly overrated (unless your in college) but mobility in the pocket is huge, just being able to feel that pressure and slide to one side or the other keeping the eyes downfield is something that I would guess is very hard to teach. Jimbo had it, Marino had it in spades and our beloved Brady, as Jaws says, is the most mobile quarterback in the game. I absolutely love that ability in Edwards.
  19. Plus bb.com doesn't have the Monday interview with Jauron up either, which they usually do. What gives?!! I like to hear all the good stuff Jauron has to say the morning after a big win...once it sunk in. This is not good!!
  20. I watched the game again last night and one of the things that I took note of was when the rain actually stopped. Obviously TE's play in the elements is key to his success down the road and I was surprised that the rain lasted well into the 3rd Quarter...point being their were several nice plays from the offense in the wet conditions. (several not so nice plays as well, but I was pleasantly surprised nonetheless)
  21. Amen brother!!...I can't stand the people who DON'T stand the whole game. I'm so excited that I can't even sit if I tried...I hate having to sit during these very exciting gladiator battles.
  22. Forgot about this myself....absolutely amazing! Remember only a few short years ago every game was just a penalty fest? Another sign of good coaching. And with all those peel back blocks on Roscoe's return (seemed like their were about 4 or 5) to not have a block in the back really impressed me.
  23. JP Losman is as good as gone after this year. He doesn't want to be here at all and the fact that they kept Hamdan around tells me they really think he can be the backup next year. He has similar qualities as TE and I think with another year here he'll be a serviceable\good back up. JP will not accept a backup role and someone will give him a shot to start.
  24. Our coaching staff has always impressed me with their week to week preparation. Even going back to a few years ago when Fewell had that incredible game plan in the Indy game, that far out matched Bills team was in the game to the very end and had no business being there. I really think Jauran and Company have learned some very good lessons from mistakes they've made in the past (see Dallas game) and they won't be making those mistakes again. I could have used a few more play action passes today but I thought the play calling on offense was just head and shoulders above anything we've seen in years. Fewell, and April for that matter are just mad scientists...don't know if anyone noticed but at one point there were 4 DE's on the field on passing situations. And on one play I saw Kyle Williams at DE and Schobel at DT and Aaron got pressure right in Hasselback's face to force another punt I believe. That defense was just unbelievable today led by an absolute MONSTER in Stroud. I'm excited!
