  1. Excuses excuses excuses How does a stacked Supreme Court prevent President Biden from making better decisions about the economy?
  2. LOL. Why didn't he just say that instead of lying? He could have read it off a piece of paper like she did.
  3. This is not exclusive to Presidents. We apply the same logic to QBs, CEOs, coaches, plant supervisors, etc. It's part of leadership and responsibility for what you manage or run. After the Eagles game when Coach Brady was not on the field when Gabe ran the wrong way or Josh threw it they wrong way said it was his fault. The CEO of Boeing didn't forget to tighten those door bolts causing it to fall off in flight, but he took the fall. See how this works?
  4. How does Angela Merkel think? We (Obama) hacked her cell phone and listened from our embassy. https://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/cover-story-how-nsa-spied-on-merkel-cell-phone-from-berlin-embassy-a-930205.html We have no room to talk.
  5. If there were to be (there won't be) a civil war which you crave I know, I won't participate. Let the young fools fight it out. I got better things to do. Come on man. You're retired. Spark up a doob and drink some of your home brew and chill. We don't have enough time left for this civil war nonsense. PEACE
  6. Not my party. Just cuz I question the Democrats doesn't mean I'm a Trumper. That kind of black and white thinking is why we find ourselves so divided.
  7. Not defending Tim Scott, but just curious ... Do you promise to accept the results of the 2024 presidential election regardless of who wins?
  8. The comment "Willing to die for their convictions" was not supposed to be satirical. I take them to be sincere. They say they are on a hunger strike until their demands are met. If the demands are not met and they stay the course, they'll starve to death. Will take a lot of gumption to see it through either way it works out.
  9. This puzzles me about President Biden. He rarely mentions these hostages. It seems like it should be his #'1 priority in regards to the conflict.
  10. Nice job of fat shaming Frank. I have no idea if she's telling the truth or not but one thing I am certain about is her weight doesn't make her a liar and has zero zilcho de nada to do with anything. So why bring it up?
  11. I actually give these people a lot more credit than 99% of the other protesters. They are actually putting some skin in the game. Willing to die for their convictions. I read a Nicholas Kristof editorial in the newspaper Sunday (yes I take the old school printed newspaper). He made some good points about the college demonstrations. I could not find a link for the whole article. https://www.democraticunderground.com/1016376949 He wraps up the article saying if college students really wanted to help Gazans they could do 2 things: Instead of demonstrating, use the time and energy instead to raise money to send to Gaza for relief. Give it to WCK or the Red Cross or start their own. Raise some money and send over a few student observers to go over and see what's happening on the ground. Then come back and report what they saw and what could help At this point, the protesters are taking attention away from Gaza and putting it on themselves.
  12. Who can forget Hillary being the presumptive favorite the day before the election 2016? Or Steve Kornacki standing in front of his board a week before the election saying Trump has no path to victory. And the 2022 mid terms. All based on polling. I think in the current political world some people don't like to tell pollsters they are voting for Trump. The election is 6 months away. Lot of crazy stuff gonna happen before then. I'm with @Tiberiuson this one Looking at polls now is useless. But what are polling companies gonna do? Poll.
  13. Why not? Then Senator Harris called Joe Biden a racist on national TV and he still picked her for Veep. These people (politicians) will do anything for more power and money no matter what.
  14. He Borked Bork.
  15. How is this white chick wearing Palestinian regalia not guilty of cultural appropriation? That was a very bad thing about 15 minutes ago. What's next? Sombreros?
  16. It's going to end up being someone like Pence. The only one who would take the job. I have no idea why some young Republican would hitch his/her wagon to a one term very unpopular (even if he wins) President. I can't see someone like Rubio or Cruz or Johnson or DeSantis take the job if offered.
  17. Yeah, stay in there. They know who you and have you on video breaking the rules. You'll still get suspended. Check your email. If Palestine is so important to you to do all this, sacrificing your degree should be worth it. Right?
  18. I don't understand it either. Maybe we could ask FDR? https://www.dallasnews.com/news/2017/09/06/flashback-fdr-unveiled-robert-e-lee-statue-without-controversy-in-1936/ Dallas took down the statue and renamed the park to Turtle Creek Park in 2017. 1936 was pre or post the big switch?
  19. What problems do they have the media really doesn't cover?
  20. Oh, I'm sure you will.
  21. Like Barack Obama, Colin Kaepernick and Keon Coleman you mean? All had absent fathers and are successful. While having a kid with a loser that doesn't want to support him/her is not a good idea I agree. Something maybe women should think about? It takes 2 to make a baby Ludwig Van Beethoven's parents were a mess too. Look it up. Do you ever consider that maybe we're throwing away some fine people? Of the 350,000 aborted each year one would think that some of them could have really made a difference in the world
