  1. Not as many go-for-broke exotic blitzes. I was shocked to learn that Clinton set up an email address/website for the White House back in 1993. I wonder how many emails they got from America's hundreds of then-email users.
  2. BUMP We're closing in on 100 RSVP's
  3. No quarterback who gets strip sacked in a preseason game will ever win a (2) Superbowl(s).
  4. His record at TCU (four year starter, I think six losses total) had me sold. It was all I needed to know.
  5. I would have more than satisfied with drafting Dalton in 2011.
  6. EJ's floor is substantially lower than Dalton's, his ceiling substantially higher. Given our 21 other starters, I'm actually not certain which one I'd rather have.
  7. Fred Jackson. When he was buried on the depth chart he flat out dominated the second and third stringers and made the coaching staff take notice.
  8. The last throw was definitely a bad one. He stared him down, but again, I think he really wanted to get some action to his shiny new toy. For his sake, for Sammy's sake, for the sake of their future chemistry and not least of all, because it's what we fans wanted to see the day after the greatest QB/WR combo in franchise history took center stage. I'm sure these two youngsters are very eager to start chipping away at the Kelly/Reed legacy! x 2
  9. Whatever you want to say about him, the guy lined up across from him certainly could not block him.
  10. People see what they want to see. Go ahead and apply that to me.
  11. Keep in mind, Eli's learning a new offensive scheme for (I believe) only the second time in his 11 year career. It's cool. Timing is everything.
  12. Is there an echo in here echo in here echo in here echo in here?
  13. I noticed. A lot of two back, two wide, power I stuff. If EJ can't succeed running the most boring plays available on Madden, then this team is !@#$ing screwed. He looked fine. If Mike Williams waits one half second longer before he jumps for that ball in endzone, the board will be flooded with "EJ has arrived" threads. Instead, they ran two more plays, a batted ball and a forced pass to Sammy. Gee, shocking. Sammy and EJ had 10 plays together, some of them runs, and people here don't understand why he stared-down and forced the ball to his new toy. I'm also shocked with how many body language experts we have on this board, guys whose athletic careers probably fizzled out shortly after JV ball but know a guy who has 'it' when they see him. And for that matter, rue the day the term "slow eyes" slipped its way into to the TSW critique-machine. Jeebus.
  14. that's for a different party we're throwing
  15. Sure. Names have been redacted Thanks, XXXXX. Just so I can guarantee the bar knows who everyone is/lets them in, can you send their full last names? Thanks GO BILLS!
  16. Just got your email. You're good! See my note back.
  17. 78 And if we get to a certain number, they'll shut down the entire bar for us. Highlights: we'll have representation from Backers of Albuquerque and a couple is flying in from Hong Kong. The woman from Hong Kong tells me her and husband come home once and a year and it's always from the Bills. Not deaths, weddings, holidays, or anything like that...the Bills. How !@#$ing sweet is that?
  18. Well, you know. NFL players are exactly the same now as they were more than 20 yeas ago when the Bills were relevant.
  19. I'm bumping this because we're getting a lot of RSVP's. and the bar has said they will cap entrants at some point. If you're planning to come in from out of town, definitely put your name in. GO BILLS!
  20. If it aint broke...let's keep it that way.
  21. If we're going to play the "if" game, then EJ is much more of a "once in a decade" freak than Russel Wilson. I listed the last three Super Bowl winning QB's. Was your intent in listing their draft status to suggest they were more instrumental to their teams' success than asserted?
  22. The last three Super Bowl winning quarterbacks: 2013: Russel Wilson 2012: Joe Flacco 2011: Eli Manning None of whom fall into anyone's top 5 list, and I'm sure you could find plenty of top 10 lists that don't include any of them, either. The growing sense is that the league is returning back to a ground and pound league.
  23. I listen to Shek...was excited to have this queued up for the drive home from work when I saw he tweeted out that Bills were on the agenda!!
  24. lest we forget he "supported" the redskins when they "paid" him too.
