  1. It aint EJ's fault. There's at least one blocking whiff on every attempt. I felt like I was going hoarse making this point throughout 2013 and this off season. Get him space! Where are the screens!? Uh...yeah. **** don't work. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is the case for MOST of the game. It was clearly another practice: see the safety fiasco.
  2. Has Pears ever taken reps at guard? People say Kujo is too tall to play guard.
  3. I keep seeing Henderson's move from LT to RT as a given. I also see folks saying part of Kujo's struggles come from making the same transition. But didn't Henderson play RT @ the U? And if he didn't, can anyone who knows a lick about OLines (played and/or coached) verify that once (if) Glenn is healthy, we can seamlessly move Henderson over.
  4. I'll just go ahead and (again) challenge anyone beefing about playcalling to go back and watch 59 lunge behind the tackling/pressuring defender. EJ had a ball batted on fourth down. Guess who was blocking him.
  5. Well, this troll got his bait took.
  6. I don't know what's going on with the interior right now. I think they'd give the janitor a shot to start at this point. Nobody wants to separate himself.
  7. Watch 59 lunging behind the tackler on every botched run play, then talk to me about playcalling.
  8. a I gather their grasp was always tenuous.
  9. I think Thad and Legursky may have lost their jobs tonight.
  10. WIth our second string LT, our fourth string LG and both second string wideouts.
  11. This should and will be stated over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again until the Bucs game a week from now.
  12. I heard he still dropped trow and poo'd at midfield just before they wrapped, though.
  13. Also: the Trib story today basically stays everything, save Cutler's performance, raised questions about the first stringers, in all three phases. If they can't make holes for Forte, Cutler will have to put together four REALLY good quarters against the D coordinator who swept him last year. This, of course, can happen, but the best encapsulation of Cutler's career I've ever heard is as follows: If he doesn't lose it for you in the first 58 minutes, he'll win it for you in the final two. If we can run, stop the run and force him to make mistakes early, hopefully we can put enough distance between us and them that the final two minutes don't give him the opportunity to do his thing.
  14. They'll call it most frequently in the preseason and as the season goes on it'll get called less and less and by the time the Super Bowl rolls around, we'll be lucky to see a single one.
  15. @SalSports Aug 14, 9:27pm via TweetDeck At this point we should just invent a game called, "what will Sammy do that will go viral this week?" #Bills
  16. Man, you are my favorite. The reigning champ.
  17. I like the thought of a Cyril/Cyrus right side and a Glenn/Henderson left.
  18. All I needed to hear. I fully acknowledge that I draw my sensitivity lines way beyond most others', for better or for worse.
  19. I'm actually genuinely curious to know who you think it was insensitive to. Seriously.
  20. Now might be a good time to close this thread. I don't think Cohen--who I'm hopeful turns out to be an impact player on this defensive line, fwiw--is the subject matter any longer.
  21. C'mon, bro. I copped to trolling. Don't treat me like a moron here. You've clearly bent backwards to achieve the virtuous high road (in your eyes). When you say 'our values are different,' there's more than ample context to suggest you really mean 'my values are more virtuous.'
