  1. I'm just hoping mine got used a couple times. Last year I got 10 x $10 gift cards. Bought me a new golf towel, some socks and a new tee! All the Bills swag a boy needs!
  2. re: practice v games, I heard a quote from a veteran scout today saying the evaluation process relies 10% on what happens in practice and 90% what happens in preseason games. I'd like to preface the following by saying I rarely make excuses for players... but: ... EJ was let down twice by his OLine (the batted passes) and once by a poorly timed jump by Mike Williams. If I were Marrone, I would have been salty too. Clearly not the 'look' on EJ they were hoping for.
  3. I'm also a big fan of the name!! COME ON EJ
  4. This would be like taking the $10 prize over they mystery prize that's guaranteed to be worth at least $5, but could be up to $1,000.
  5. Take it from somebody who deals with the media for a living: it's all downside and zero upside.
  6. Yep. Media is being a bunch of babies about this. Just like they were last year when they had the dust up over Mario's injury/surgey/wtf it was.
  7. Forget MLS--WNY has a great NWSL team! I would know, my wife is the NWSL's Operations Manger. No biggie. Last week the Portland Thorns drew 20K+
  8. If that's the case, he should have arrived in Orchard Park several minutes after the injury.
  9. The 2014 incident was well documented in this 1998 hit:
  10. He was aboard the international space station performing open heart surgery on a nuclear-powered great white shark while defeating a silver back gorilla in a staring contest. He injured his knee, though, giving Harry Stamper a piggy-back ride back into orbit.
  11. It's like comparing Camp Crystal Lake to Camp Candy, quite frankly.
  12. Yes or no? Haven't heard anything about him being there or what his surgery/rehab schedule/location is.
  13. Or--as has been my belief all along--they're simply co-opting his illness as a way to give some rest to the big man with nothing to prove before the long haul begins. Seems particularly likely as we continue to benefit from getting eyes on as many different OL noobs as possible. And also nobody owes you, me, us anything.
  14. We get info on football-related injuries. I think it's entirely false to say that all other illnesses/non-football issues are disclosed the same way. And Donald Jones.
  15. Today I wished a Happy Birthday to my mom's 100 year old god mother.
  16. Fellas. Jesus. Could be chicken pox. Could be cancer. Could be kidney stones. Could be Crohn's. Could be hernia. Could be gas. Could be adult-onset diabetes. Could be a gluten intolerance. Could be blood clots. Could JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. Whatever it is, telling or not telling the media aint going to change whether or not he's available to play. And really, that's the LAST of his priorities. So get over it and wait.
  17. I would say the "we can't draft well" is an entirely unfair argument. Fans need to get over the Maybin pick. That **** was five years ago, and in a draft that also got us Levitre, Wood and Byrd. Say what you will about retaining that talent, this is a "we can't draft" refutation and those three succeed in precisely that. 2010 was a lousy draft year, fine. 2011--Dareus, A. Williams 2012--Gilmore, Glenn, Bradham, Searcy 2013--Manuel, Woods, Alonso (and bubble starters Goodwin and D. Williams) 2014--Watkins, quite possibly 3 offensive line starters and quality, young depth at LB and CB So, by a reasonable count they've drafted 10 starters in the last four drafts on top of at least five other players that will give the team quality minutes. That aint bad, by any stretch of the imagination. 15 players in four years is hitting on nearly four draft picks a year. That's actually damn good.
  18. There's a refer a friend link. When you follow it logged In it gives you a custom URL. NFL sends you $10 at the NFL shop for every referral you sign up.
  19. So Henderson good, EJ bad. Could have called this post from a mile away.
  20. Yes, please. Expire mine first!
  21. Either way, I think we'd all agree that TJ Graham is !@#$ing toast. At least two passes bonked right off his god damned hands, one resulting in a goal line INT. God helps those, TJ.
  22. You must have missed his pass to Lee Smith.
  23. Think $20 is reasonable price to watch ALL the NFL's preseason games live AND on demand using your computer, tablet, mobile device, etc? Then use this link http://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/raf/6CET77UWK3CJ and only pay $18. GO BILLS!
  24. Haha, it would be. I don't know who that guy was. I might be able to help facilitate that, though...if enough out-of-towners show interest. My grand plan involved a march on Sunday morning. Two groups originating from each of Chicago's Bills bars (they're on the same street), having the groups meet in the middle for a rally at a park that's squarely in the center of the two with Marv on a megaphone (he lives less than a mile from this spot). It would have also been supplemented by a resolution being read at City Council naming Sept. 6. 2014 (that Saturday) as Buffalo Bills Day in Chicago. Unfortunately, Council has adjourned until Sept. 10.
