  1. Bleh. Who knows what the issue is. But he's a very large man. He's a proven commodity. And it's hotter than **** with high humidity in late July. I'm not terribly concerned...yet.
  2. 30, as of 6 days ago. Do I win?
  3. Big Ben had running backs that consistently hit the inside creases...taking A LOT of pressure off him in his first few years. He wasn't/didn't have to be the gun slinger he is now. He was also really good on the run, as EJ is...WHEN he's not taking unnecessary shots.
  4. Can we back up for a second and say we know for certain what "failing a physical" entailed? Did he fail a drug test? An eye test? Calper test? Did he have too much wax in his ears? A rash? There are a million ways--other than being fat--to fail a physical...
  5. My response: @TBNSully You're just salty because as long as he stays on the roster your 'inability to retain talent' column continues to collect dust.
  6. Landon Cohen? Buh-bye, Dareus.
  7. aaaaaaaaaaaaaand there's the notification from bb.com
  8. Yep And his inability to find the inside creases last year. And the high volume of runs last year. And the up tempo offense they want run this year. It's clear they want to pound you up the middle, torch you on the outside. If CJ can figure out a way to torch up the middle--and I have no doubt in his ability to do so, especially if opposing defenses get softened up by what appears to be a three-headed battering ram--then we're !@#$ing golden.
  9. Oh...I saw that tweet. Definitely factored into what I said. He's on a thin line...indeed. What's exciting about that for us Bills fans is his damn-near atomic-level of potential.
  10. Man, the writing on the wall better be pretty !@#$ing clear for CJ. They want a bruiser who can burst between the tackles to open up the outside for Sammy. CJ better do his thing, and do it to the best of his ability or his next contract won't be with Buffalo. Thanks, Mike!
  11. They'd only have to drop the 'New.' Quick merchandising fix.
  12. I'm doing the Chicago Rock and Roll half Sunday. But when I was home for the Fourth I ran the loop around PI...worst run...ever. First half is quite lovely. Second half is a runners' nightmare.
  13. And again, over a three and a half hour span, one need not go "crazy" to rack up a $15 tab, which would be the limit if you wanted to see 14 games at a bar for roughly the cost of the DTV package...per the original assertion.
  14. ...is poised to have another good year in Detroit.
  15. ...was a RB, but yes, your point is taken. Can't mention him without also mentioning Dwayne Wright. Sadly, neither of them ever lived up to the standards set by standouts like Shaud Williams or Anthony Thomas.
  16. Exactly. I understand not getting loaded. But then you're also not eating any food in the thick of the lunch rush. So yeah, you could go to a sports bar 14 times and sip water for three and a half hours. #serversdream Otherwise, good luck chilling at a bar for three and a half hours and NOT spending $15...which would be cheaper than $200 to watch at home.
  17. Also a lot of business for the town's growing surplus of sports bars. I understand the BW3's up by the mall is PACKED with black and gold on gameday.
  18. I agree. But I'm not sure what an available DE could do to alleviate his loss.
  19. All this talk about roster moves, bear in mind that with the loss of Kiko, the defensive line is where they need the most depth. They must perform at a high level now.
  20. *Waldamere I suggest standing on the corner of 26th and Parade after sundown. Seriously, what could go wrong?? Just grab some Mighty Fine while you're there.
  21. I'm jaded given the inability of our annual "training camp sleeper" (which all seem to be WR's) never, ever panning out. In the last 8 years or so: Justin Jenkins Felton Huggins Marcus Easley Chris Hogan Da'Rick Rodgers George Wilson (though he did eventually find it at safety) Andre Davis Kevin Elliot Sam Aiken Jonathan Smith (Fast Freddie) Namaan Roosevelt Derek Hagan Ruvell Martin
  22. I'm a native Erieite. I estimate the town is 60% Steelers, 25% Browns and 15% Bills So yes, the majority Steeler fans get PISSED about Erie being in the Bills broadcast market.
