  1. You gatta be kidding. I gotta see this. Nope you ain't kidding
  2. 6'5" and 300+ lbs? I wonder if he can rush a passer on defense. Remember when we first got Peters and he busted right through the line and blocked a field goal? If he played basketball he would also be fast enough to play special teams. Can you imagine a freight train like that blocking for our returners?
  3. Probably just gas that one slipped out. Why the heck did you recommend EXLAX? Now he's completely out of control.
  4. Who's going to stay in and block. What the heck lets send the TE the Fullback and the Right guard out as recievers too.
  5. Bull.....The Giants lead the league in Sacks. That would make any DB look good.
  6. Wow. Statistics that actually say what I have been thinking.
  7. I'd be willing to bet that Lee Evans believes that the other recievers on this team can still step up. If I were him I'd be thinking that a good tight end would make all of the recievers look better. Tight end gives you a big target, catches the defense off guard when he slips out to catch a ball instead of staying in to block and because he is big and fast, he is a perfect addition to the special teams unit. This also stays in line with building a Dominant football team.
  8. You da man billybob
  9. I remember watching a game against New England, I think Beldsoe was our quarterback. It was our first game against them that season. The Bills really handed them thier asses that day. What I remember most is how bad Brady looked. The defense was employing a bunch of blitz packages and really getting under his skin. I saw it again in the last Superbowl. I think we really need to get some depth on the D-line. DT or DE doesn't matter. An option may be to get a Tackle that can play nose. I like Defensive End too. Yes, people I know the Offense has needs. With 10 picks in the draft it's going to happen. With DE or DT at 11, we get a seriously scary defense. We also get a man big enough to put the fear of God into the ball carrier on special teams kick coverage. With reciever we get well....... a reciever. We have an oportunity to not just try to out run opponents here. We could actually beat them by being dominant.
  10. The sad thing is you are probably going to turn out to be right.
  11. Give me names.
  12. I agree that we need recievers. I just happen to think that the overall consensus that this is our most pressing need is perhaps flawed. People around here tend to throw stats around too much and based on those numbers, think that they can explain what is best for the team. What the stats don't tell is how more defensive stops often gives the offense more chances to work it's magic. They don't tell how offensive linemen can improve the passing game or running game. The stats also don't show how linemen who do thier jobs will help others on the team to run up those stats. Linemen are by far the most under appreciated positions and as far as I am concerned, it is showing in all of these mock drafts as well. There is too much "Our passing numbers are low, therfore we need reciever". Why not "Our passing numbers are low therfore we need an Offensive line man". My focus though is I think we have an opportunity to develop a dominant defense. A pass rushing defense that can actually strike fear into the eyes of opposing quartebacks. I just want to know who people think is available in this draft to be that kind of an impact player. It seems everyone is dead set on reciever and corner for the first pick and I think that there is a valid arguement for a good DT or DE and also get better value at number 11. It seems I am alone in this kind of reasoning.
  13. Wow, is everyone here infatuated with wide recievers around here? Where are the fans that remember what it was like to have a real pass rush?
  14. I found this article reasonably accurate in thier assessment of team needs. http://www.realfootball365.com/index.php/a...les/bills/10956 My only concern is that many think that reciever and corner are our most pressing needs. It would be nice to see Brady making mistakes because he can't handle having someone consistently in his face. I would like to see a mean and nasty pass rush. Whether it is an additional defensive end or another big lineman capable of collapsing the pocket doesn't really matter to me. Either way, it is my humble opinion that this is our greatest need. I am confident that our linebackers are more than capable of helping out with the pass rush. What I would like to know is who the members on this discussion board thinks is the best draft choice for effectively getting to the QB. Some would argue that powerful linemen can free up the defensive ends and linebackers to rush. Others may feel that an additional Defensive End can be more effective. Who is the best choice for us given the ordering of our draft choices? Keep in mind that the two top DTs and DEs will likely be gone before we pick at number 11.
  15. Rams may be trading back with us.
  16. I have to dissagree here. We are in the AFC East. We should be looking for ways to nuetralize Tom Brady. The Bills have a tremendous opportunity to do just that. With the additions in the off season so far we have made strides in the right direction but the Defense isn't there yet. What this team needs is a strong pass rush. Defensive End? Possibly. I think Stroud is good, but another addition to our current rotation should be considered and not just anyone. We need a lineman that can push our current starters. A truly dominant defense requires it. That will not only make the rest of the team better, it will put the fear of God into Brady and company. I don't want a draft that will secure second place in the division. Second best is just not an option. Playmakers on offense are a dime a dozen but Defensive linemen are hard to find. We can address our other positions later in the draft.
  17. Trading to get more picks is a bad idea. We won't be allowed to keep them all on our roster. Trading to get quality players by trading up might not be a bad idea. I think a trade up into the second round could be what will happen. As for the first round, I think we will stay with the 11th pick.
  18. This isn't really a stretch. We could concievably trade up or down for that matter to take a tight end early in the second round. Maybe late in the first round. It just depends on how the cards are dealt. I wouldn't mind a big fast tight end for a target at all because I think a tight end has the potential to create larger matchup problems for a defense. They can't be certain if he is going to stay in and block or break free for a catch. With a spread out reciever set the defense pretty much knows what is coming. TE gives us the big reciever we are looking for and someone who can block on running plays. I don't know about you guys but I also like watching cover guys trying to take down a big TE. TEs don't try to out manuever defenders when they are going to get tackled. They make sure that it is them who is laying a lick on the defender before they lay a lick on him. Gives them something to think about. People say a big reciever is the answer but if you want a really physical offense the tight end is the way to go.
  19. Wipe those spots off of your eyes and you might be able to see better. This team can't help but be better after the string of bad luck on the injury front last year. Add in the bolstering of the DL and you are looking at a team that is likely to dominate games. If the draft is used to pick up some more beef, like a tight end, maybe a fullback and a good rotational lineman, you will see some domination on the ofensive side as well. People don't realize how much linemen improve what the skill positions are able to do. A power running game and some surpise passes is what you will likely see a lot of. Minimum 10 wins.
  20. I know that, but to call them the "Toronto" Bills is crossing the line. He doesn't want to show his face on this side of the boarder...........I know. I Know.........Sad but TRUE.
  21. This reporter is a retard.
  22. Slam a few beers then....you'll believe anything then.
