  1. I wouldn't mind bringin' Peppers in for a look, even though recent rumors flying around appear to be BS.
  2. Hey, I like it. Invisible like Ninjas. Nobody knows what is going to happen, then bam!
  3. You want impact players? Fred Jackson - The guy has pulled off some miraculous plays. Moorman - Nobody in the league consistently turns the field around like him. Kyle Williams - How many times have we seen this guy in the back field. Jarious Byrd - Top of the league in interceptions. Aaron Schobel - He just keeps on getting those sacks. Kawika Mitchel - If none of you have watched him when he is healthy wreak havoc on opposing teams, you are just blind. Lee Evans - He is a down field threat that has the speed to blow by defenders. Tell me you haven't seen him do it all ready. Marshawn Lynch - I know he has had his downfalls, but he didn't become a Pro bowl alternate for being a slacker. Our entire backfield - All of our cornerbacks and safeties have been awesome patrolling the secondary. Our returners - Few teams have multiple return men that can put us in short field situations like ours. No impact players............Pllllllllllllease!
  4. NFL.COM has an article about TO possibly going to Cincy. There is also a poll there that asks which FA Wide Right would help a team the most in 2010. TO is leading the poll over Antonio Bryant and Kevin Walter.
  5. This is pretty funny too. Green Bay
  6. Not all news is bad. Check this out. Raiders making a splash
  7. If anyone else has some good sources, please feel to list them here.
  8. http://profootball.scout.com/2/951673.html The thing that I like is that the source of the information is also listed. Here's a Google Search of recent moves. Free Agency Moves - Google Also a useful link. A list by recent activity on NFL.COM Here's a good source. Article from all over. Pictures included.
  9. Sooner or later one will win a superbowl. Just a matter of time. Probably not the next Manning. Who knows though. Maybe sitting on the bench after injury has raised his desire to succeed. I think he deserves a look.
  10. I just found some film of him while he was at Ohio State. He has pretty good pocket presence. Troy Smith at Ohio State
  11. 2006 Heisman Trophy winner. Hmmm....
  12. Would be cool, but I don't think there is a way to accurately keep track of this. People would need to be hired just to report on such a stat.
  13. Go to Time Warner Cable's Customer Support website and send them a message stating that you are dropping them as a service provider and going with someone else because they don't televise local Bill's games. For my area the website is https://www.timewarnercable.com/northeast/a...us.ashx?menu=25 Switch to someone else. If enough people do it, you can be that will light a fire under their butts.
  14. TV used to be free. Telephone service used to be available for under 40 bucks a month. Gas used to be affordable. Have you looked at the price of hamburger lately? It's got to end somewhere. Start taking your business elsewhere and make them compete for your business where you can.
  15. Want to make Time Warner pay? Try this out http://nnycs.com. They offer services to all of New York State. I know it's not TV but if you get away from their bundled plans and let them know why they are losing you as a customer in droves, they'll have local games on TV real quick. That service offers telephone and high speed internet for $49.95. Time Warner, in my opinion has gotten too big for their britches and I'd love to see a local company take business away from them.
  16. I think it would be great to bench Lynch for one game and let him stew. When he finally gets his chance he'll be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Then watch out. Are you listening Dick? This is how great coaches motivate their players.
  17. And you are a steaming pile of crap.
  18. that's what I was thinkin' and it would not be funny....
  19. No. By running the ball out he crosses the 20 yard line for better field position. Plus, by running the ball out you eat up clock giving NE less chance at coming back. How many times have we argued that this team needs to play to win instead of playing to not lose? I also have no problem with McKelvin bringing the ball out. His fumble was a costly mistake, yes but just learn from it and move on. Also, when he was interviewed after the game, he was asked if he would bring the ball out again. His reply was "yes". I like his attitude.
  20. Keep in mind that AVP only had 10 days before the start of the season as an OC. Under the circumstances he did one hell of a job. As the season progresses, I believe we will see more plays designed to get the ball in the hands of our deep threats. The thing that impresses me is that he actually devised a game plan that was working nicely for the most part. That is a pretty tall order considering the amount of time he had. His play calling is very good. What I speculate is that AVP will be opening the play book up gradually as the season goes on. He is all ready getting the offense to operate at a faster tempo so he can't just throw in plays that have not been practiced to perfection. He can utilize plays that they have and I think that is what he has done. Given some time, the fast tempo plus some practice at getting the ball deep will certainly develop.
  21. Bill from NYC, I couldn't have said it better. Nice post. If Edwards comes out firing like he did in the preseason going 10 strait completed passes but then ends the drive with a TD.......... And if the D harasses Brady all night.......... Hey, it could happen.
  22. You got yourself a bet. Put your money where your mouth is.
  23. It's a live feed. You cannot start at the beginning.
  24. 9-7 Anyone who predicts less is a sissy.
