  1. You are not considering the "inexperience" factor. This team will probably lose to half the teams we consider ourselves equal or better in talent due to stupidity. They will win about two or three more games against superior teams just by the fact we will catch them on their "bad" week and we have enough talent to squeak by. Accept it, this is the trials and tribulations of a young team coming together. The jet game will be the best example of this team in '06 (Although we will show progression in the second half). 7-9 or 8-8 at best.
  2. Ask him if he knows what the "just give it to'em " game is?
  3. Yes, because the bootleg was his fault. The fact that noone blocked the DE has no bearing on the play. Absolutely JP should run more; when he has an opportunity to run, or when the pressure is there, or when a receiver is not open. But, not run just to run. It's all part of his decision-making education. The coaches should not rein in his running to the point where he no longer runs when the opportunity arises. This is what it seems like the coaches are doing to him, making him less of a dual threat. I agree with the poster that the threat of him running would open up the TE or Willis for more catches. He runs a 4.6, let him run.
  4. Maybe this will help to answer some of the doubters: http://www.moldea.com/gamefixing.html The league is fixed, folks. Accept it! The Bills/NE game wa fixed. I always thought it was the refs, and I still maintain it is. Except now, with all the money the networks pay, they want to control the outcome for ratings.
  5. Some people are not smart enough to see progression even in losses. How can a team become contenders unless they lose some bitter games and learn from their mistakes. It's games like these that will toughen them up. It's obvious this team is talented, and they will win their fair share of games, and lose some they shouldn't. Patience, people. Next year is the year. Marv needs one more draft. This year, just roll with the punches. By the way, what about that throw by JP to Josh Reed late in the game. It's those kind of throws why you can't give up on JP. Plus, Reed finally looks like the receiver he was drafted for. These are the things we have to derive positives from.
  6. We lost the game because we are still young and immature. We make mistakes. JP only has 10 starts under him and doesn't make the best decisions (for one thing, he forgot how to run for some reason). The biggest mistake in the game besides the fumble, was the third and one bootleg where he was sacked unimpeded. That was the O-line's fault. The Bills didn't make the plays, the Jets did. Bottomline. Wasn't their day. They will lose more like this, this year. But they will win their share of games as well. Enjoy the progress. JP needs games like this to learn and get better. He has lots of talent. Pennington is much more polished at this point and that was the difference.
  7. Well, I wouldn't go that far. His decision-making has a lot to be desired. The guy on the other side managed the game much better. I realize that our pass-rush was invisible today, and that might have been the major difference, but you have to admit Pennington is a much more instinctive qb than JP. JP will learn from this...he has a lot of talent. I wish he run more instead of holding on to the football for five seconds.
  8. Exactly, Jp has to know when to eat it or run with it. He seems to forgot how to run. They need to cut him loose again. He's almost become one-dimensional and he's not smart enough for that.
  9. The difference today was the smarts of the two quarterbacks. But, you also have to give credit to your O-line for for stopping our pass-rush.
  10. I think you're the fkn retard since you can't see sarcasm literally right smack in your face.
  11. Too early to tell yet. He does hold on to the ball way too long. He doesn't think about running as an option anymore...to the extreme. When he does run, well, you saw what happens. I think he tries to hard to make things happen instead of staying within himself. His decision-making process still has a lot to be desired. Pennington ran a clinic out there. Look how he took advantage of the bills blitz early in the game for the big play that led to their first td. Pennington has half the talent as JP but is three times the QB!
  12. Thank you. The Bills lost today because they are young and this is what we should expect this year. They'll win when you least expect it and lose when they should win.
  13. Actually the wind might not help the Bills as much as we think. The Jets will be forced to run against our weak run defense. If Miami stuck to the run, they would have had much more success, but they have a meathead running their O. I rather have Chad airing it out against our strong pass d. The elements do not favor our defense. Even though JP has a strong arm, I don't want him to try and control the game through the air. It will be closer than we think. 21-19 Bills.
  14. Rephrase: Overdone? There's a reason why people aren't it anymore. The paper is a communisto rag.
  15. Overdone? There's a reason why people are buying it anymore. The paper is a communisto rag.
  16. That's ok. I loved Eric (not in that way), but he would have been a decisive force in the clubhouse. This team is all about chemistry.
  17. ...or the league still respects him, and aren't throwing his way which maybe why McGee was in on a lot of plays. With McGee stepping it up, Clements returning to his normal form, and those two sick rooks, we have the best secondary in the league...perhaps.
  18. Another tactic used by Jeffry Loria (sp?), the art dealer, was his fire sale which basically put the Mets in first place. He reduced his team to a $15mm payroll. His strategy was that if South Florida wasn't going to vote on a new stadium, he wasn't going to spend any more money on a team worth a damn. Unfortunately, hi s plan backfired because the club continues to put out good young players from their farm team. Expect them to compete for the division title next year with their sick young pitching staff five man deep. They are leased in that stadium until 2010. The Dolphins will have to live with the dirt for four more years.
  19. I Want everybody to think about this...Once this Defense starts to play instinctively, and feels real comfortable with the new defense, and TKO starts to gets his legs back..WATCH OUT! Couble be a top 5 defense. This secondary holds a seat for noone. Donte Whitner will be considered a star by week six! Lastly, anybody else feel that maybe TKO's hammie might have been a good thing giving his heel a little bit more rest??
  20. This defense is reminding me of that old San Fran d that won their first Superbowl with three rookies in the backfield. It included Ronnie Lott.
  21. We're 1-1 with the lost being a steal. We all take it to the season. Now, from here on out, the schedule is looking so much nicer .
