  1. I agree with his sentiment. He just didn't post it intelligently enough to warrant a favorable response. I do believe the bills should give him a deadline or let him him sit. I'm not too keen on the rules: If we don't sign him, does he go back into the draft next year? Because if he does, I'm sure he'll be happier to get #14 slot money next year.
  2. There is only one way to end this...tell him sign the fkn contract and show up to camp by tomorrow 8 AM, or he will sit out the entire year. If he doesn't show, show him you mean it by suspending all negotiations until next year. No empty threats. We'll get by without him. I rather not have him at all than signing him in Mid-or-late August and giving in to these greedy bas-tards. Some team has got to stop the madness. It might as well be us. The media hates us anyway.
  3. Yeah, those guys back then made a lot of sense, didn't they? It seems we don't have politicians with that kind of common-sense. That's why they don't want our kids to learn that history in schools anymore...they might catch on. Here's the problem once again...it's called political correctness...the true state of mental disorder. If we didn't have to worry about racial profiling to accomodate the ACLU, we wouldn't have to pat down Grandpa and Grandma and their grandchildren, plus the blonde Swedish Couple Sven and Gwen.
  4. I live downstate outside of NYC. I became a Bill's fan when I watched my first NFL game: Bills vs Jets. After watching OJ, and the Bills' offense smack the Jets around 42-14, I decided the upstate team was the one for me. OJ became my idol and I was 14 years old. The Bills went on to 8-6 record missing the playoffs after a 4-0 start. The collapse began when their kicker (forgot his name) missed a 19 yard fg to win or lose the game against the Giants on Monday night. That was the beginning of my misery.
  5. Is there any even an inkling of objectivity in this projection of yours? I'm sure he'll make it because he's a #2 but the competition is stiff.
  6. Well, Sam Aiken is not going anywhere I can tell you. You have Evans, Price, Reed, Aiken, Davis, Nance? What happens to Roscoe? Do we carry seven? Or perhaps Davis gets cut if he doesn't have a good camp.
  7. Do ya think for once one of these OL could stand out and take the position outright? Geez. It's never good when the competition is so tight no one stands out.
  8. Isn't there a list for when Ralph is too cheap to pay top ten draft picks? Funny thing is if we traded him down to 11 or 12 where he belonged, we would have signed him already. I bet my bottom dollar the bills' trust is holding out on him by saying you should be getting lesser money than a 'real' #8. The agent just wants regular #8 slot money and the bills aren't willing to give it to him based on draft projections.
  9. OK. It's just he is suppose to be "the quarterback" of this new defense. He has much to learn.
  10. and post on the Met's board. Unbelievable. People curse, call names at each other, vulgarities, racist remarks, make threats, everything goes. It makes for good entertainment. This board is so respectful compared to them. I guess that's why the Mets are in "Flushing."
  11. Not when he is the only top ten pick left and he was lucky to be there. Send a message to the players and agents this will not be tolerated. No excuse at this point, none!
  12. I'm sure Marv is steaming and red-faced. The Bills did him a big favor drafting him. Who does he think he is? No excuses, money, length of contract, whatever. If he doesn't sign by Friday, put him on the PUP.
  13. I would bet a month's paycheck that Leinart would refuse to play for the Bills and his agent would have held him out until he was traded to the West Coast. Besides the weak arm, the Bills knew this, and it would have been a wasted pick. Leinart is a fairy boy and needs to be cuddled and seen with celebrities. If Buffalo thought Rob Johnson as a mindless surfer-dude, can you imagine this kid here? We made the right pick. When Whitner proves out to be better than Huff, ESPN will not be saying anything about our pick anymore (which means a lot).
  14. Depending on the severity, he can be out from two weeks to three months. Three months if it is a grade one injury with tears to the fibers. Look to Brian Bannister, rookie pitcher for the Mets as an example of the worst kind. Besides that, I think JP will make an improvement this year just based on his mental approach and learning process from last year's miserable experience. Something tells me he will step it up, and make more big plays than mistakes. The new regime will have more patience and help him get better. In Marv, we trust!
