Career record of 17-4 with a career QB rating of 111, and 44-15 TD to INT. If that's mediocrity, sign me up. Especially for a 2nd year QB.
Yeah, scouts just missed on him. I get it, he doesn’t look like a pro QB, but he’s the real deal

He's inconsistent. His deep ball is good and obviously the rushing ability. He struggles with short and middle throwing. I think you get him to a QB guru and he's easily a top 15 QB
Easily? He’s sucked as a passer for 3 years. It’s not like he hasn’t had proper coaching or good talent. Kmet is good TE and their running game has been very good while he’s been there. This year with DJ Moore he had 1 game over 300 yards. That’s not a high bar for him to overcome and he just hasn’t done it. Is that suddenly going to change in year 4? I highly doubt it

Bucs are gonna Buc. They are idiots, best QB in years for them and they don't want to pay him.
They had Tom Brady last year 😂

I think a team like the Browns could use him 😂
Justin Fields is going to be the QB all these teams without a high pick want imo.
Could be an option for the Raiders, Giants or Falcons
Fields is terrible. People keep trying to make him some guy who has just been overlooked but he hasn't been much better than Tyson Bagent this year. He's just too streaky to be the guy and if you are asking after 3 years, you already know the answer

Whichever talking head said “Purdy could walk on water and you all would say “it’s because he doesn’t know how to swim”” had it right. The kid had an MVP season and everyone goes out of their way to find fault. If he had just been a higher draft pick, none of this non-sense would be out there. He played a really good game in the SB, lead a late game go ahead drive and scored in OT, but it was all his fault. Nonsense. He didn’t collapse, his OL sure did, but he played good enough to win. He outplayed our own JA in the playoffs, oddly enough, it was Chris Jones who wrecked both clear TD passes for the Bills and the 9ers by being on the QB before they could throw. Allen had a little time before it happened, Purdy had nothing. Credit the team around him all you want, that’s a weak ass excuse. He was making his money with the 3rd WR. So say what you want, I’m not buying.
I love Purdy. He is efficient, confident and makes good decisions quickly. He does things off-script pretty well too and is a good enough athlete to get 5 yards and a 1st down. He won't wow you with any plays but very rarely is going to make a mistake. I think he's better than Tua in a very similar system. There is a reason he's only lost 5 (not counting the NFCCG last year) games as a starter, one of them being the Super Bowl in which he had a lead when he left the field.
To say he's just a game manager is absurd. Scouts missed him, it happens. He will be in the top QB group for a decade

Baker very nearly led the Bucs to the NFC Title Game.
That's crazy. They'll re-sign him.
Yeah he’s not going anywhere

Gibran Hamdan
We must bring him back

We need him in the AFC East with a huge deal
I actually think he would be perfect for the Jets. Luckily they won't do that since the player/GM wont want anyone other than his buddies in the room with him

I’d perfer him over Kyle Allen in a backup role. If Josh were to ever go down. We would at least have a chance to compete with Jimmy G
Did you watch him last year? He is toast. His arm is shot, he can’t move effectively. There is a reason McDaniels got fired for sticking with him when it was obvious to anyone with eyes he couldn’t play anymore.
Davis was pissed that they dumped Carr to sign Jimmy G after seeing him play. I’d much rather have Kyle Allen. At least he has a live arm right now. And truth be told, the Bills would be screwed no matter what if Josh went down. Their best chance is the best athlete they can find. Kyle Allen is a much better athlete than Jimmy G

That being said, as overrated as he is, he would be a decent back-up.
No he wouldn’t. He is absolutely toast

Imagine if he wasn't so commercialized

Seriously though, Blake Bortles. He’s basically just the 2nd year version of Josh, perfect back up.
Think Bortles retired. Wentz would be comparable skill wise to Josh. He’s kind of an ass tho

5 years and not one 1st-3rd round pick on a wideout is strange.
I'm more concerned about how they just want to sit on their hands at QB. The one we got is way to commercialized

Of course, anytime anybody is playing like ***** for Buffalo they are "hurt" (just like Diggs, Davis, Elam, etc). It's never that they might just have been playing like absolute garbage and that the team didn't do better to upgrade, its just fate that they got hurt and hey, there's nothing we can do about that, golly gee!

kickers often come back around. I’m still curious if there’s more to the story here. It still doesn’t add up fully in my opinion.I thought he was hurt all year. Seemed like he wasnt comfortable

The Bills traded pick #10 to the Chiefs who selected Mahomes. If they didn’t do that, there’s no guarantee that Mahomes is a Chief today.
It’s great that we got Tre, Dawkins, Zay Jones (lol), Edmunds (lol) and Neal (lol). When does the parade start?
If they don’t make that trade, Mahomes is probably a saint. Supposedly, Sean Peyton loved Mahomes and was going to take him at 11

You want Terry to fire his head coach because of a decision seven years ago that the owner ultimately signed off on?
Yes it was probably the worst trade in NFL history but it’s too late to fire someone over it.
I was looking over that draft recently. The Jets took Jamal Adams at 6 overall when their Qbs were Josh McCown, Bryce Petty and Christain Hackenburg

He needs to go, hasn’t learned in 7 years here
I see this a lot and while I agree, many said the same thing about Andy Reid in Philly and he’s coaching in his 4th Super Bowl in KC tonight and 5th overall.
McDermott is a good coach. I think he is fully capable of getting the team to the big dance. I’m excited to see some new coordinators next year

I know what I can tell you. I listen to the NYC sports radio stations & have a much better picture on Wilson's lack of development than you have. He got benched due to lousy play. If his attitude improved, then why did he want to sit out the end of this season? The guy on the bench can be well like when he's not screwing up things on the field. Big deal, he stopped blaming others this year.
Hackett sucks, but so does Wilson. A perfect storm of bad QB/bad OC.
They told him he would be traded in the offseason and he would be inactive the rest of the year. Sounds like he made a business decision, just like the Jets did when they benched him for Boyle.
And its a non-story too because he did start two games after that and promptly got hurt behind the ***** Oline they gave him
