    Wilson will have to be monumentally bad for them to bench him. Tomlin knows it’s a playoff team with decent QB. I’d play the former SB winner over a guy that’s won 10 games in 3 years

    Yeah Dodson was ok. He was much less of a liability as the season went on, but once Milano is back, we will quickly see why he was a backup

    I mean, sure I get that argument. But the year they drafted Fields they were a playoff team with Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles at QB. He has won 10 games as a starter in 3 years, 5 of which were this year. 
     

    Tyson Bagent went 2-2 as a starter this year as an undrafted rookie out of division 2

    Only way it pays off is if Hurts misses seom time and Pickett looks good and then you trade him.

    All they did was lose draft position and gain nothing.

    Whats there to get? They traded for a backup that recently was a 1st round pick. For essentially a 4th round pick. If they liked him coming out, there like him better than a QB option in the draft in the 4th round

    Fields is awful. He has some great highlight runs and a few decent games throwing the ball but after 3 years, he is generating no interest on the trade market. Meanwhile guys like Riddler, Howell and Drew lock are getting traction and traded.

     

    If he had some untapped potential, someone would be offering a 3 or 4 and he would already be out of Chicago
