Brady was actually very good last season. They couldn't run the ball at all because of line issues, and that killed their play action game. In the run game, they were literally 32nd in rushing yards, 32nd in rushing TDs, and 32nd in yards per attempt.

Brady could probably still be playing. His skills never really dipped at all. Honestly really impressive

Wilson's physical ability was never in question. He can make all the throws needed at the NFL level. He can also scramble to avoid the rush and gain yards running the ball like Allen does. His biggest problem is mental. Maybe coaching can fix that I don't know. He doesn't go thru his reads, progressions fast enough at the NFL level. He doesn't trust what he is seeing and that leads him to making poor decisions.

He has had a few games here and there where is he awesome. The worst thing for him was having to play this year. If anyone needed a redshirt year it was Wilson.

He may flame out, but I’m sure someone will give him an opportunity to be a backup somewhere. Rams, Bills, teams with stability at the top and good coaching would be a nice spot for him

This is where you see what kind of an idiot Johnson is. First off, I fully acknowledge that Wilson has looked bad. No argument.

However, they picked him so high because they saw some talent in him. And truthfully, that potential is still there IMO. They have done nothing but jerk the kid around almost refusing to give him proper grooming. They stuck him behind one of the worst OLs I have ever seen and then blamed Wilson for not winning. They messed this kid up. While he was never going to be a Mahomes or Allen, they totally destroyed any shot of him being a decent NFL starter.

Then on top of it, they go ahead and the owner says something like this that eliminated any (small) value Wilson still had on the way out. No wonder Wilson reportedly wasn't interested in playing the last few games for the Jets.

I really hope he ends up somewhere that can help him recalibrate a bit.

Him going to the Giants and being a super star would be the most hilarious thing

Dude has plenty of talent and he has shown flashes. The Jets have been a dumpster fire his entire time there. Be curious if he has a Geno like career

Here's that throw. Just in case anyone wanted to enjoy the next 40 seconds of their life a little bit more:

Thats the throw as a young QB you dream of making. Most guys don't have the arm to do it

    Good stuff, thanks.

In the Buffalo News story today, Allen admits the ending of the Chiefs game is going to haunt him all offseason.

    😟

    He and I share that

We remember his time in Cleveland differently.

He had a good year in 2020, but aside from that he struggled.

Cleveland was 1-31 the two years prior to him getting there. That team was next level bad. Baker took them from awful to a near upset in KC in the divisional round. Then he got hurt

I think his attitude is great if you are winning, but it can run people the wrong way. I love Baker personally, glad to see he’s doing well

How exactly does he deserve it? I just find it funny that the group think is that Lamar is the obvious choice for MVP. One of the least deserving statistical QB's we've ever seen in the running for the award. His team had a heck of a year. In his biggest game of the year, the one that cemented his MVP, his defense intercepted the 49ers QB's a combined 5 times. The Ravens would have won that game with Huntley. The next week Lamar has a perfect passer rating against the Dolphins. Something JA did in week 4 as well.

I'm fine with Lamar being a finalist, but no way should he win in what I suspect will be a landslide where he ends up getting like 90% of the vote share. This should be one of the closets votes in NFL MVP history. But for some reason it probably won't be.

I think we have to go back decades to find a statistically worst MVP winner than 2023 Lamar.

All I have to say is, I don't care if Allen reverts back to his 2019 season in terms of numbers, if the Bills ever finish with the top overall record in the league the voters better give the man the MVP.

The last time a QB won with less than 30 TDs was 2008

Lost the last 2 at MetLife. They suck but they have given the Bills trouble in East Rutherford, NJ. It would be nice to get back to sweeping them again.

What so ironic to me, is I think if Rodgers doesn’t get hurt, Bills win that game. He went down so early, suddenly the game plan changed and Jets had a “let’s do it for Rodgers” moment.

I know it was only 4 plays, but he was sacked, pressured into a throwaway on his only two attempts. Bills were all over him

Yes, please compare how many points the offense scored in the first Miami game v. the second Miami game (whose defense was missing many of their critical players in the second game).

Gonna look at that one game where Josh had 3 turnovers? But also 450 yards of offense? They were toying with Miami in that game

I was wondering with all the HC openings if he would get a interview or not & apparently every one isn't as high on him as the so called experts think . Seeing as Andy is taking his team to another SB & Washington sucked it was more Andy than Eric .

I'm sure EB is a smart coach and knows football and how to be a good coach. With the amount of HC interviews he has had, if someone truly believed he would be a good leader, he would have gotten a job. He hasn't, that doesn't need to be some big conspiracy. Some guys just are not HCs

How many "great" QBs do you think there are in the NFL currently?

    3

    Allen

    Mahomes

    Burrow

Everyone else is a step below

Exactly. Brock Freaking Purdy is about to get PAID. Thankfully the Bills are at least paying someone who deserves the dough, relatively speaking.

Purdy is really really good. He is in an amazing system with some great players, but he is a big reason why they are in the the Super Bowl. Shanny finally found the guy he’s been searching for

This is obviously false. What are we even doing here? Again, he had ZERO dropped interceptions on the season. If defenders can catch his passes, his teammates that are paid to catch his passes can do it too.

It's crazy how many excuses fans come up with to avoid admitting that his pass catchers simply weren't very good this year. Shakir was probably the best of them over the course of the entire season, and that represents a huge failure by Beane.

Last year too. When they brought in Beasley and Brown late in the year I knew we were screwed.  Huge failure by the FO
